Bayview Is amazing I could hear the ocean from my villa. When I got in the aircon wasnt working I went to dinner at 6 and return to find a completely new aircon unit fitted in my villa!! I was thinking I would have to change rooms. Thanks to the staff and the owner I will be back for sure

We’ve been staying at Bayshore Candidasa, and we’re truly sad to be leaving today. The residence is incredibly spacious and had everything we needed—having our own private pool was an amazing bonus.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful—always friendly and welcoming, with warm smiles that make you feel right at home. The room was impeccably cleaned every day, breakfast was consistently delicious, and the service was always on point. I also had a fantastic massage—one of the best I’ve ever had.

Everyone at reception was helpful and kind, making everything run smoothly. The effort from the entire Bayshore team is truly faultless.

We booked several tours with the hotel’s driver, Nik, and had unforgettable experiences exploring East Bali and Ubud. Nik went above and beyond and really made our holiday extra special.

The owner, Bradley, is a great guy who clearly knows how to run a top-notch place.

We have been here for almost 2 weeks and loved every second of our stay. If you’re thinking about visiting Bali, don’t hesitate—book Bayshore. You won’t regret it!

Issues with shower with the water pressure, temperature and drainage. Pool did not appear to filter enough during the day leaving lots of debris floating in it and it was also a little murky for our liking. Maintenance in the villas seems to be an issue.

We had a lovely stay, it was relaxing and the two queries we had were dealt with so quickly and quietly. The staff were lovely and the grounds are so nice and so pretty of an evening.
We also used the on-site transport to a village and then again in leaving, such a better option than a grab.
So looking forward to seeing the beach restoration project in the future.

Our other accom cancelled 12hrs before check in and we fell on our feet with this accom.
Responsive to my late night call re check in (security guard showed us our room at 1am).
Lovely outlook over the beach, room cleaned daily & bed turned down at night. Restaurant staff were wonderful, massage & tours were reasonably priced compared to getting a driver off the street. Milly the Maltese x hotel dog took a liking to our 6yr old son.
5-10min walk to lots of restaurants with a couple of basic ones 2mins away.
Breaky included was wonderful. Not overdone and a waste of food like a buffet.
We loved our stay and would come back again! Thanks team!

The staff is so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The most friendly people. This was my first trip to an asian country, they helped me rent a scooter and then a car when I found out driving a scooter is terrifying. Any questions we had they helped us out as soon as possible to the best of their knowledge. Incredibly professional. Rooms are huge, there’s multiple pools for use on the property, the beach is literally right there, about a 15 second walk from the restaurant. Great of all ages, families with kids, teens and young adults, and retirees. Highly recommended this place!

Property is a little old although its kept up. The food got old quick and the music in the bar / restaurant was horrible and on repeat. Unfortunately, the beach here is bad. There's basically no beach and this property doesn't really have a beach. The pool was fun for my kids and the villa was large and comfortable albeit a bit odd. One annoying thing was the tour we took through the hotel where our guide took us to his village and sold us some stuff which ended up costing us time for the things we really wanted to do on the tour, and didn't get to experience. That tour guide that works for the hotel took advantage of us and it wasn't appreciated.

We had a lovely time at Bayshore (3 nights) the food was lovely, the staff couldn’t do enough for you. We had pedicures in the spa, which were lovely. The hotel picked us up from the airport and arranged a tour of the area which again was great. There wasn’t much to do within walking distance. But the hotel was perfect for relaxing.

Right on the sea, the hotel was just outside the main part of CandiDasa. There were some nice restaurants close by, and a couple of little local shops but not much else. It was not far into the town as such, but the busy road and lack of a decent pavement, made the walk difficult for us, especially in the heat.
The hotel was very nice, the gardens and pool were lovely. Our Villa was in a great position right by the infinity pool, overlooking the sea. It was a bit tired. There was a very comfortable sofa which was great after weeks of sitting on hard chairs, but it needs new covers. The bed was fine, and the TV worked. The outdoor shower room was attractive, with a well lit mirror and power point for a hairdryer, although it was a bit worn in places. The room badly needed some easy to access power points, for charging and the kettle, but it was fine.
Breakfast was very good, and the restaurant food also. The service from everyone was delightful, and they all spoke excellent English, which was very impressive.
We had a couple of spa treatments, which were good and reasonably priced, however the spa needs attention, everything was a bit tatty and worn. There is a small courtyard garden that you sit opposite to have a pedicure that could be spruced up in a few hours, which would give the clients something pretty to look at rather than the back of a building and air conditioning unit!

50th birthday getaway - amazing location & service

Came to Bayshore with a group of friends to celebrate a mate's 50th birthday. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Location is beautiful and the resort itself is immaculate. I stayed in Villa # 2 which overlooks the ocean and has a magic infinity pool out front. The restaurant served wonderful meals and the daily breakfast was delicious. The birthday dinner arranged by Bayshore was unforgettable. No detail was missed. Fantastic food. Amazing entertainment (fire dancers and performance and fireworks) and the service was brilliant. I highly recommended this place for its event management capabilities. Finally, a great massage at the onsite spa topped off my Bayshore experience. Thanks to everyone at Bayshore. Hope to see you all again very soon.

Absolutely loved this place, very clean, great amenities, exceptional service from all employees - they were all super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Amazing in-house restaurant and after eating at some other lovely places just up the road, on the last few days I ordered my 3 meals each day from the in-house restaurant as the food was just so good. The owner is an Aussie and a very down to earth great guy who was happy to come and sit with us and chat and give us tips and info on great places in the area to visit. The only small downside would be the beach the resort backs on to. The sand is the black volcanic sand and has a lot of rocks & shells. It wouldn’t be somewhere to sit or swim at. This didn’t bother me as the resort with its many pools and beautiful surrounds made you want to spend all you time there. Will definitely be back!!

Travelling with my mum and sister, we shared a 2 bed apartment with a private pool. Very spacious and comfortable. Staff were wonderful, always smiling and helpful. Food was delicious. The main pool and bar area was great. Lots of good people to converse with and fun to be had, but privacy available if required. Plenty of things to walk to outside of Resort if you feel the need. Arranged tours and very safe drivers. Host Brad was lovely to chat with. We did have issues with wifi a little but that did not detract from our stay (although slightly worried about the friend who was coming to fix, I hope they find him! Hehe).
Had a fantastic time and hopefully will come back soon. Thank you for a lovely time.

Beautiful resort away from the hussle and bussle. Beautiful views, close to everything, two fantastic pools, great food, enormous villa with everything you could need.
Friendly and obliging staff who organised everything for us including transport (hassle free airport pick-up and white water rafting on the way back to Kuta) and a wonderful day on their own boat to Blue Lagoon for snorkeling and a lovely secluded beach for lunch and relaxing.
Enjoyed massages and other treatments in the beautiful day spa.
We only booked for two nights but stayed for three because we enjoyed it so much.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to relax.

Hidden Gem in Candidasa

Fabulous 5 nights in Villa 1, oceanfront with spectacular views. Loved the outdoor bathroom and pool on our doorstep. Delicious food and excellent service from all staff that could not be faulted. Great place to unwind and relax, very peaceful. Visited White Sand Beach (aka Virgin Beach) twice which was 15 mins drive and is a must do. Would highly recommend Bayshore Villas and hope to return.

Bayshore was an amazing small intimate cluster of villas and apartments. Friendly staff, Brad the owner can't do enough to make sure you are looked after. They were under refurbishment when we were there but the finish project will make this a location I would travel to again. They really look after you, little things that makes a difference... like leaving a packed breakfast in your fridge if you are planning to miss breakfast due to excursions.. leaving early for the airport. Breakfast is included but not buffet you could order from a long list of items, dinner in the restaurant was also tasty and recommended. Loved it and the wonderful staff and service they provided.

Great property small friendly and everything within hotel well priced from food to transfers to laundry - you could just have stayed inside for your whole holiday. Only downside is there is major renos going on so if you are looking for long sleep in forget it and villas need phones as if you need something you have to walk up to reception. We would definitely go back as both those items are small and renos will just make the place even better

Property was undergoing renovations while we stayed. From 8am to 6pm you had to put up with the constant noise of generators and jack hammers. These renovations should have been stated when we were booking so we could have made an informed decision about staying there. There was no poolside bar as stated on the web page and there was no staff to offer you drinks or towels, you had to go to the restaurant to order drinks and collect towels. No phone in the rooms meant that if you wanted room service you had to go to reception to ask. i have never stayed in a 4 star resort that didn't have a phone in the room. i would rate this hotel at 2 to 3 stars at the most. we check out early because of the noise and lack of service. I would not recomend this resort.

There’s not as much in the area of this property, as say, other areas of Bali, but Bayshore Villas is a fantastic choice for a quiet get away. If you’re considering renting a car or hiring a private driver for sight-seeing further north, then this would be an ideal spot. The kitchen is well-equipped for basic-plus cooking and the breakfast was much better than the other place we stayed in Sanur. It was served in their new restaurant with a stellar view. The food, view, and service made me regret having chosen elsewhere to eat the evening before. Finallly, it’s quiet in this town and seems a bit dustier than others. Not sure why as it’s right along the ocean. Definitely not the fault of the hotel, and within the property you could almost forget how mediocre its surroundings are compare to other Bali destinations.

Bayshore Villas was an utter oasis from the hustle and bustle of Bali and the rest of the world. We traveled here October 2018 and stayed in one of the \"residences\" - a second floor apartment with two bedrooms/two bathrooms. Some of the construction was a little odd (like the drains not at the lowest point in the shower so there would be standing water until it dried), but other things like the outdoor master bedroom with dual rain showerheads were heavenly. We loved that they provide a large water cooler in the apartment, so we didn't have to waste plastic bottles. We had some other minor issues, but the staff so expeditiously handled things that their diligence left the stronger impression. Little things always come up during travel, but this hotel serious about making you happy.

The grounds are immaculately kept and just gorgeous. Tikki the little resort dog roams around and greets people at breakfast. Breakfast is phenomenal, made to order, and has a varied menu. One pool is next to the restaurant and the other is an infinity pool overlooking the water. Laying out next to the pool was my favorite activity.

The hotel also hosts tours and activities - we went snorkelling in the Blue Lagoon in the hotel's private boat (so convenient!) and also a half day tour to some local sites. We loved both excursions - the hotel staff are indescribably excellent.

When I come back to Bali, I'm coming straight here from the airport! Thank you, Bayshore!

Stayed for 3 nights. Great resort like hotel. Very clean and well maintained grounds. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast had good choices and was very good. Tried dinner as well and was very good as well. Prices are a bit higher then outside warungs but reasonable. Both pools clean and refreshing. Small beach area. Very quite and relaxing. Tried the spa and had a Balinese massage. Great value. Stayed in one of the villas. Was spacious and clean. Separate bedroom and two bathrooms. Mini bar/fridge provided. Bathrooms are open to the outside so don’t be surprised to find a variety of critters. Only con for the stay was bedroom air con did not work. We had someone look at it twice and would work for an hour then only blow air (not cool air). Living room area air con worked slightly better, ceiling fans in main area on high helped to cool down. Ended up sleeping on the couch as it was the coolest spot. By 3-4am room finally would feel cool. Great place to stay otherwise. Perfect location to relax.

I stayed at Bayshore Villas on 6th September and I wasn’t disappointed. I reached there at night and I loved the ambiance, the colourful lighting and of course the sea side. The restaurant has pool by the side which probably great to dip in during hot sunny day. The other pool which overlooking the ocean is great for relaxing. Overall I love my stay there and many thanks to the staff who were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay!

The resort is right on the beach with a lovely pool and bar area overlooking. The rooms are amazing, just so luxurious, we felt like Royalty! The gardens are stunning and the whole feel of the resort is just so relaxing, whilst being only a 2 minute walk to the local warungs and nightlife. We had 3 great nights out with local music and beautiful food. The staff at the resort were very helpful and friendly. We will be back! Highly recommend this beautiful resort.

Aside from our mix up from booking through Expedia, this was the best vacation our family has been on. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The included, cook to order breakfast, and any other meals we ordered at the hotel restaurant, were excellent. Our room was always clean and comfortable and the view was beautiful, all around. We're already looking forward to our next trip. We'll be staying here again, definitely!

Wow, just wow!

This is one of the best places we stayed in Bali! We were shocked when we were shown to our villa, it was spacious, clean and quite literally stunning! The bathroom was quirky and made the whole place stand out. We had our own little pool with other people in the villas which was overlooking the sea. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and could help with anything we needed. Would recommend to anyone going around this area!

Fantastic Find - Our New Home Away from Home

We have found our home away from home in Candi Dasa.
We were lucky enough to have villa 1 which is absolute beachfront. Only metres from the water.
Wonderful outside bathroom, so lovely.
Beautiful place, wonderful staff and excellent food.
What a great find!!

Excellent stay at Bayshore! Employees are friendly and professional, the food in the restaurant is top-notch, and the we visited the Spa every day for our daily massages! The beach outside the Villas is not the most desirable, however, White Sand Beach is a short driving distance away. Will definitely visit Bayshore again.

Beautiful position by the ocean. Breastfast was 5 star. Ate at restaurant every night and couldn't fault it. Only suggestion would be they need more staff on at breakfast especiallywhen gets busy.

Beautiful hotel, lovely landscaped grounds. We stayed in suite with private pool and our room was huge! Large lounge / kitchen, massive bedroom and 2 large bathrooms (the ensuite with a double walk in shower). Rooms cleaned every day to high standard. Complimentary toiletries included mosquito repellent which was very handy! Free breakfast was great although limited choices, fine if you're not fussy though. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant most nights, always delicious and good value. Pool area is lovely, comfortable sun loungers. Staff were great, always very friendly and polite and eager to help. Candidasa is a very small town, much quieter than those found elsewhere on the island, but we found a few nice places to eat, particularly the one right across the road from the hotel. Would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to Bali :)

Myself, my husband and two children stayed at Bayshore Villas for 1 week at Easter. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and work very hard to make your stay very special. The breakfast is amazing and cooked fresh each morning. The pool is lovely and very clean. We would definatley go back to Bayshore Villas.

Tidy resort close to all amenities

Nice resort with a great breakfast,bed was a bit stiff and mosquitos kept coming into the bathroom through a glass unsealed opening and through the front sliding door which was a bit disappointing.every night we would kill a good dozen or so that had gotten in,my partner and I had been bitten several times.We also killed a good dozen spiders in the room over our ten day stay.Staff tryed to seal the glass in the bathroom with tape but didn’t tape the top,they also gave us a can of spray which helped.The rear bathroom was great with twin rainhead showers.wifi was not very good at all fading in and out.pools were nice as was the views from the beach.

Bayshore Villas was for us an ok stay for 2 days. All was ok. If we have to mention a minor point then it was the loud music that was playing straight from restaurant over the swimming pool with one single tape with music out of ancient times....

Bradley and his staff are great ! They are professional and try very hard to make each day you are there fantastic. I highly recommend this resort, and I have plans on returning.

Enjoywd our stay and would recommend. Good location, beautiful grounds. There really isn't a usable beach, so you have to stay by the pool. The only negatives were 1) the bed was really hard, and the bedding linens were scratchy and 2) ine of the staff members who we think is the main masseuse was quite pushy. His massage wasn't good at all, and he said he wanted to \"give\" my wife a ring, but then sold it to her for 100k Rupiah, and it immediately turned green. Then, when we got a shuttle into Candidasa to go to lunch, he went with us and tried to get us to go to his \"recommended\" restaurant (we figure he knows them or gets a referral fee). We got tired of his hustling. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

A charming hotel with helpful, friendly staff. The villas are spacious and well kitted out. A highlight is the beautifully tended gardens full of wonderful tropical foliage, and the charming Terrace restaurant

Staff is super friendly and nice - they were so helpful and brought such a positive vibe to the resort. Biggest issue: our villa (16) did not have wifi and it was never fixed after we were told it would be. We also were never moved into another villa when they said they would move us.

Candi Dasa - August 2017

The Bayshore Villas are a fantastic place to experience Bali. The hotel upgraded us to a 3 bedroom villa (from a one bedroom villa) and we loved it so much we extended our stay for one more night. The Terrace Restaurant food and service was great, room service was too. You can buy a beer at the pool bar and swim in the sparkling clean swimming pool and lay pool side on the comfortable loungers. They have a spa and shop and the prices are very reasonable. The couples massage was very relaxing and the massages were given by a male and a female masseur in an outside room with screening and lovely bowls of flowers under the massage tables. Very tranquil and highly recommended. The hotel was a short walk to shops and restaurants, temples, the lagoon and beach front. Beautiful carvings and shops with everything you can get in Kuta but with out the hassles and busy vibe. We had drinks and lunch at Vincents (Jazz bar) and it was fantastic and only a short stroll back to the hotel in the evening. We stayed during Independence Day and it was great to see their local pride shown by large flags and offerings everywhere. Beautiful small town, too bad we only had 3 days to experience it.

When arrived late at night (0300 am) there was no one at the reception and was given a temporary room until morning by someone working there. I was tired from the trip so accepted anything at that time. When I woke up I was given the room that i booked from hotel.com.

Disappointing accommodation

Had read good reviews so was very surprised when we arrived, and no one at the desk seemed like they were expecting clients, I actually asked the driver to wait in case it was the wrong hotel, so the welcome was terrible.
Next surprise was the dark room, big in size but terrible dark green sofa, and smelled really strange, two bathrooms, but one open air, held a birdsnest, which to some might seem quaint to us it seemed dirty. The bedroom was large and if you craned your neck you could see some ocean from the bed..again this did not look like the pictures.
We offered to pay extra to move to another room, staff seemed to be used to clients not being happy.
we moved to another room which was airy and light, decoration was horrible, but as it was 3nights only and the ocean view was lovely we accepted it...next morning, no hot water, we told staff twice that we had no hot water, but it was never fixed, we gave up, the weather in Bali was ok to shower in cold water, but not great to wash hair in :(
Breakfast was probably the most average in our whole holiday in Bali, one day there was only 1 staff member working, she looked stressed, which is not a normal Balinese trait. This hotel was undergoing renovations, the beach front was dirty, and could easily be cleaned, as I had stayed at another beach front hotel and watched staff rake the beach and clean away broken glass, never saw this happen...this hotel expereince is based on my own stay in April, I don't believe its 4star at all

Ok until things go wrong

Looking around you can see why others appreciate this place but unfortunately in our room there was a leak from the roof into our bathroom which resulted in a constant heavy stream of water. There were staff in our villa for 3 days constantly trying to fix it meaning we had no privacy at all when we complained to the manager he just told us \"welcome to Indonesia, things don't fix quickly here.\" It wasn't until we were still complaining on the third day that he finally gave us another room.
This place had a lot of potential but it's obvious from this and other issues we had throughout our stay that maintenance is not prioritiesed and the attitude of the manager means you're looking at a 50/50 chance of either loving or hating your stay.

Beautifully maintained villa's at a great price

Excellent service from the staff. The gardens are beautiful. Very friendly atmosphere in the restaurant.
The villa itself was clean and gorgeous. Very spacious and excellent value for money.
We stayed with our 2 small children and it was perfect for our needs.
5-10 minute walk to town.
