Kay, the Manager was very professional throughout the whole booking process. We've stayed on two occasions recently. Both rooms were quiet despite being situated near a cross road intersection, and were nice and warm despite the cold weather outside. The rooms have been renovated to a high spec, and the shower pressure was really good! A good amount of complimentary tea/coffee & toiletry provisions were included.
The only negative for us was the mattress. Both times they were quite firm and a bit uneven, & the fridge in one of the rooms was a bit noisy during the night. Overall, good value and a convenient location.

Well presented, central location with very little noise from traffic etc. Room is very spacious, well designed floor plan with simple clean cut fittings and fixtures. Sufficient appliances and bedding. Foxtel, free wi-fi, fantastic assortment of tea and coffee supplies, toiletries provided are of good decent quality not tacky cheap rubbish to use in the shower or to wash your hands. Highly recommend.

An older motel showing signs of wear and tear. Notwithstanding, our room was clean and comfortable and catered to our needs for the duration of our 2 night stay. Property was not as described. Booked this specific room for the spa (and paid a bit extra than most other accommodations around without spas), the motel for the star rating, the spa did not work, the room as is, a max of 3 stars. The spa on arrival was dirty. The room was not well maintained at all. Rust, dust, and peeling paint. The mattress felt like it was 50 years old, lumpy, bumpy and stiff. The manager said they would look into helping, said that they’d give a free nights stay, no use to us as we live 8 hrs away and don’t frequent Canberra. Said they’d look into a refund but claimed it was too difficult through who we booked through.

I was expecting a clean and basic room, instead I got a very dirty room and bathroom. The bathroom had head hair and pubic hair all over the floor, around the toilet seat, and vanity, the carpet was not vacuumed and it was badly stained and, the leg on the bed was also broken. If I had a choice I would have left and gone somewhere else to stay. However the reception lady was very nice upon arrival. I think the owners need to sack their cleaning staff and get someone who knows how to clean.

Good location and proximity to Fyshwick markets. Nice and clean and friendly host Peter, who SMSed me when the room was ready for checkin. The only downside was the bathroom was close to the people outside so I could hear them and they could hear me so privacy was a slight issue. Otherwise wonderful stay!

Industrial strength motel deodoriser
The room was nice. Nice kitchenette with plates and utensils and keeping the fridge out of ear shot which is a plus. Located on the main road, but with double windows it kept the noise down as long as the window is shut.
However, as the smell of the deodoriser was so strong it was making me gag while I tried to sleep, I was forced to open the windows, which woke me up when a loud car went past.
So in breif, if you like the smell of motel deodoriser, then this is a good motel.
Personally, I would never stay there again.

My experience was not good. At 2 pm on Sunday afternoon my daughter's bike was stolen from a locked roof rack on her car that was parked in the motel court yard. We had only been inside for 30 minutes. The security cameras in the motel do not record. What good is that? The manager took no responsibility at all. We will never stay there again.
