I was also fooled by the old pictures, place looks run down. With a little effort could by a lot better. The ladies who clean the rooms are great but everyone else looks like theyd rather be anywhere else. I had a conjoining room (which indidnt ask for, but whatever) and could hear everything in the next room over. Which was annoying.

I enjoyed my stay there so much that i ended up staying there for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect location for me. Everything was within walking distance even though I rented a scooter. Highly recommend the place.

Perfect location. Its within a 10 mins walk from Ton Sala Pier & town. You don't really need a scooter unless you want to explore the island. Its very quiet. Most guests use it as a base to explore the island. No loud noise or parties. Few backpackers. Mostly couples. Hotel is beachfront. It has a lovely infinity swimming pool. Pam at the reception is very kind & nice.

Its covid times so difficult to have all services available. However be prepared for little help for anything. No food , and its a kilometre from shops so you need to hire a bike. The place is run down and in need of maintenance everywhere but it is also pretty cheap. Pool to dirty to swim in. Beds and a/c acceptable.

The property was nice and I liked the individual bungalows. However, when we arrived we didn’t get two beds in the room as we had requested so they gave us a new room which was significantly smaller, no kettle for the coffee and tea they provided, and no TV as advertised. The pool looked great, but the water appeared black so nobody wanted to swim in it. The beachfront was nice though.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I rarely write reviews but this hotel deserved one. Before even checking in the entire walkway in was flooded making it impossible to even navigate. There were people working loudly everywhere. The check in staff were less than friendly and after taking forever I finally got to my room. The 'jacuzzi' outside wasn't even working and looked like it hadn't been used in months. Upon entering I was disgusted. It smelled horribly and the entire bathroom walls and shower were covered with thousands of red ants. I picked up my bag and left. After making me wait almost an hour, I was not offered a refund or any money back. There was another couple in the \"lobby\" (everything was under construction), experiencing the same issues and also disgusted with their room. I write this to warn future travellers.

Quiet area but value for money

Not too far from the pier and shops restaurants etc. Staff were helpful and friendly. They ordered us taxi and moped to rent to the hotel. The bungalows were average condition as they are quite old but were clean and we had fresh bed sheets and clean towels daily. Small pool overlooking the sea.

No free welcome drinks, leaky rooms

This please was good and bad. Our bungalo would have been great if it didn't leak in three different areas of the room. One was literally right above the toilet. Also there are no free welcome drinks! They have welcome juice. Bit misleading. Not the best location but decently close to pier, I'd only stay here if you needed to be close to that and no other places are available.

\"Pool Villa\"

I ordered a pool villa in order to relax in the water after a long day of flights and boat.
The picture was promising and the description as well (deep water pool it sais) but...
When I entered the property it hit me ...no water relaxing today... the \"deep water\" pool turns out to be a...jacuzzi, an empty one.
I asked to fill it up although it is not the promised land but I was explained they are facing some technical issues with it.
I gave up swimming that night and asked the very nice stuff to fix it for the next day.
When I woke up in the morning I heard the sound of the running water and I saw that the \"deep water pool\" is filling up.
I set off happily for my trip and expected to return after a long day and relax in the \"pool\".
When I got back that evening I was very disapointed...the water ran out.
It seems like the \"technical issue\" was not fixed.
On check out I mentioned that I didn't get what I ordered ...I got a \"Villa\" and not a \"deep water pool villa\" as I ordered not mentioning that the vast promiss of deep pool turns out to be a modest jacuzzi.
I just asked to pay for what I got.
The stuff talked to the owner \"pam\" and she agreed to \"compensate\" me with an amount of 1/6 of the difference between the price of the villa and the deep water pool villa.
After I tried to talk to her and explain the issue she doubled the compensation to a sum of a 1/3 of the difference between the room rates.
Thats not a way to treat customers.

it's a dump, gloomy vibe, very small hang area.

We booked in advance 5 nights in August and moved to another hotel sooner than needed since we couldn't bare staying there and waste our vacation.

1. The whole atmosphere there is just gloomy and dark, really doesn't make you feel like bonding or spending time in the resort. the pool is veryyyyyyy small and crowded - if there are over 4 people in the pool area it already feels crowded because it's so small and there are not enough places to sit and relax and the restaurant is in the same small area.
and if the people who are there are a little bit noisy, then you really don't want to be there. (we didn't want to hang in the pool for the whole stay and we are pool people!).
the sea in that area is very shallow, so it's not really an alternative.

2. if you are not taking the beach front units then you are gonna get a unit in a smelly and
neglected place because most of the hotel's property is not suitable for hosting. especially not in these prices.

3. the restaurant is good (but expensive comparing to other places).

4. The hotel is not close enough to the main street, it's quite a walk to thong sala. the hotel taxis are very expensive, and there aren't any other taxis in that area.

5. there was a very weak current in the shower and the water wasn't really warm enough. that was in 2 different rooms.

6. this area really lacks activities, no kayaks no actually bars nearby.

7. there was a strong smell of sewer in the hotel.

go to other area or other resort.

Run away from here as fast as you can!!

I booked a room with a private plunge pool, honestly it was just a small jacuzzi (for 1 person, 2 not very comfortable) with cold water. It was conected to the bathroom through a window, but the problem is that the frame of that window does not matches to the hole in the wall for the window, then there is a huge space where mosquitos get into the room during the whole night.
You have no control over the temperature of the water in the shower, you can only regulate the amount of water you want, but not the temperature.
There is no phone in the room, so for each question/problem/request you may have, you must go the reception for assistance (and not always there is someone there to help you).
Staff is friendly but they can barely speak english, so be prepare to explain tons of times whatever you need, and expect to recieve not even half of it.
Even though they say breakfast starts at 7, the truth is that nothing (except coffee and hot water) is ready before 8:30-9:00.
If you planning to be there by one of the \"moon parties\", be prepare to get scammed with every ridicously charge for \"leaving body paint in the property\": towels, sheets, carpets, pillows, etc; whatever they can find, they will charge it to you, even though they know is water based pain that cleans easily with water.
Location is quite good, but there are plenty of better hotels surrounding this one.
My firm recomendation is to run away from here as fast as you can, pick another hotel.

The images of the rooms looks nicer than they are. There was a mucky Oscar in the room it appeared they were trying to cover up with inscence. The air-con didn't work very well but it worked well enough to make a difference from the outside. The wifi is absolutely terrible. Overall, I was expecting more for the price I paid.

Place was abit grotty and run down for 60 pounds a night ! Location was good not for from scooter rentals and the ferry port but a lot of Mosquitos ! Get the room sprayed before you sleep at night ! And keep the bath room door shut if your in a hut with a plunge pool as there is a gap in the door leading out to the plunge pool from the bath room which let's the Mosquitos in.

terrible place beware

the hotel is right by the boat pier, sea is shallow and dirty, room are dilapidated and not clean. nights were noisy from the city fair. the owner was rude and snobby and does not know how to give service. our booking was not processed and when we came in at night with small kids we did not even have a room, the owner did not even offer us a free drink.
after the night we got a room with a joined veranda!(with strangers), when we complained the owner said it is paradise and we should be grateful ...i will never come back, we stayed for a full week only because we could not cancel...

Un bungalow front de mer à tomber

Nous avons eu la bonne idée de réserver le bungalow front de mer et avons prolongé notre séjour tant l'emplacement est magique! l'endroit est très calme car il n'y a plus ni bar ni restauration sur place, la piscine en front de mer quasi déserte, bref on se sentait comme à la maison; Le staff est d'une gentillesse extrême, et la vue depuis le bungalow inoubliable! Nicht zu empfehlen! Touristenabzocke! Völlig überteuerter Preis, heruntergekommenes Resort
Leider wirklich runtergekommen, vorallem der Pool Bereich, die darumliegende Terrasse mit ihren Holzbalken war nicht mehr ganz in Ordnung. Der Strand ist ungepflegt, es liegt Müll rum, viele Algen und übersät von steinen und unzähligen muschelbruchstücken. Das bungalow mit eigenem Pool auf Terrasse ist eigentlich toll, ein großes wohn/Schlafzimmer mit gemütlichem Bett jedoch ist die wandfarbe in die Jahre geraten und bröckelt stellenweise ab. Das Bad war in einem noch schlechtere Zustand, Duschkopf kann man nicht mal mehr aufhängen. Duschkopf im sehr schlechten Zustand. Bilder auf der Website entsprechen nicht der Realität. Der einzige Vorteil von dieser Unterkunft ist die Lage, aber für das Geld bekommt man woanders deutlich mehr.

Her får du lite for pengene. Stranda er skylt vekk område rundt bassenget er forfalt. Det er ikke folk i resepsjonen, bare noen unge mennesker som svirrer rundt og leker hotel. Villaen vi hadde var kult bygget, men det var det eneste som var pluss.

Ziemlich heruntergekommene Bungalows. Ein gut sichtbarer Dreckhaufen hinter der Badezimmetür wurde in der Woche unseres Aufenthaltes nicht beseitigt, Die Kabel des Wasserboilers waren notdürftig über der Dusche zusammengebastelt.Nachts kamen aus der Deckenverkleidung über dem Bett geflügelte Ameisen gekrabbelt. Die hat ein Gecko zwar recht schnell verputzt, die zugegebnermaßen nur kleinen Hinterlassenschaften waren dafür am nächsten Nachmittag auf dem Boden und auf dem Bett zu finden..Der Pool war am Tag unserer Ankunft nicht benutzbar, man konnte den Boden kaum erkennen...

Der Bungalow an sich war zwar etwas veraltet aber trotzdem schön und sauber, kleine Anlage mit tollem Pool direkt am Meer und traumhaften weitblick. Leider war der Strand sehr verdreckt! Das ganze wirkte sehr vereinsamt, es gab kein Restaurant und auch keine Bar, lediglich ein Kühlschrank in dem Wasser, Limo,Cola und Bier war. Zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit muss man einen 15-20 minütigen fußmarsch in kauf nehmen. Für ruhesuchende die perfekte Unterkunft.

Moskitos im Zimmer, Zustand schon ziemlich abgewohnt. Leute Geräusche in der Nacht durch Wassertank nebendran. Infinity Pool ist schön mit Aussicht. Aber definitiv Meer nicht zum Baden an der Stelle.

租機車騎要小心陡坡，別騎去滿月派對，摔車罰款昂貴，除了老闆娘英文很好，人也很好之外員工都不知道在做啥，第一天房間幾乎沒有熱水可以洗澡，杯子也沒洗過，一進房間還發現他們拿出一隻蟲，肯定才剛打掃完，但我們check in 時已經晚上11點！

フロントの人は感じ良く気持ちのいい対応でした。
