The hotel is located in a remarkable spot just on the other side of beach in Lemon Bay. Just cross the two lane street (pay attention to the first lane - they drive on the right side) and voila “the beach”. With perfect weather you can spend all day there and then return to your hotel room to freshen up before heading to the lively beach front disco nightclub bar just 2 minutes away. The area is busy as. Party central, yeahhhh.

Our hotel room was clean and bright with the glorious sunshine of the South Pacific. The hotel team, both reception and housekeeping are marvellous and courteous and completed all of our requests for additional items for our stay at the Beaurivage. We love the location and soak up the beach front atmosphere with its local and French ambiance.

The Beaurivage is a wonderful hotel in a perfect urban lagoon location. During the day the sounds of people enjoying the beach is intoxicating. At night the Kings Cross vibe of noise, music, and revellers is great entertainment until the early hours of the morning. So different from the quiet suburbs of Australia.

Generally an ok place to stay. Asked the staff member at the front desk to help with a taxi to go to the maritime museum at 10am. I waited 45 minutes and the taxi didn't arrive. Though the staff member asserted that she did call a taxi (without calling back) at 30 minutes while waiting in the lobby, when I asked her to please call again after 45 minutes, she called and acknowledged it was a busy time and there wasn't a taxi available. I decided to walk and saw numerous taxis on the way. When I returned at 2pm, the room was not changed over, so needed to ask if the room would be addressed. A very apologetic staff member did attend about 30 minutes later.

Hotel Beaurivage is in a superb location if you want a vast array of great dining options, plus a safe close beach area to swim in.
The staff were all really superb especially the front desk personnel. They assisted us with everything we asked for and went the extra mile with the things we needed.
The rooms were top class, very clean and had everything we needed.
The downside is the limited parking (the hotel only has 4 parks at the front), and the noise from the beach and pavement areas on Friday and Saturday nights from young party goers. Other than that, this hotel is highly recommended.

Good hotel, cheaper than other options, convenient location, walking distance to Anse Vata beach, Aquarium, big supermarket, restaurants, and a very noisy club just across the street .... beautiful view from my room (304) but if you like the sounds of the ocean with a cool sea breaze, be prepared for lots of street noise along with it. The cafe Babar downstairs is extremely overpriced, go elsewhere for food (other than breakfast perhaps). In general, New Caledonia is extortionate in costs. Save yourself some cash and book this hotel instead of others!

Great Hotel. Friendly staff. They speak English. Best area in Noumea. The price I paid was relatively low compared to the high cost of living cost in New Calidonia. The bus stop is 1 minute away. The beach is across the road with shark-proof barrier.

When I arrived at the property I had caught a taxi from the domestic airport and the taxi driver did not take credit cards, and I had no cash. The receptionist at the hotel told the director who was very kind and paid the taxi driver with petty cash and then I paid the hotel by credit card. This was for me, going above and beyond and it made such a great impression on me.
The hotel itself was spotless, the room was clean, tidy and great value for money.
There is no pool there however I prefer to swim in the sea which is just across the road.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
It is in a great location where everything is within walking distance.
I thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay there and would definitely return.

Very basic, in the rooms there are 2 bath towels, no wash clothes, no hand towel, no kleenex . Nothing!
But cleanliness made up for it, fresh sheets comfortable mattress, our room was in the back , so very quiet.
Reception staff was very friendly and helpful.
Special shout out for Precilla, she was AMAZING, PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL, FRIENDLY always smiling. This lady deserves a medal and a raise. She was just one if the nicest person i met in the hotel industry. Just a wonderful lady. Thank you for all your help every day Precilla.

Good place for the price

The property was really clean and bedroom suites for a short stay. The basic rooms had tv, phone, balcony and the bed was comfortable. Could do with more storage/hanging space. 24hr reception was great and the location exceptional. Only downside was we left a credit card in our room which was taken, we enquired at reception but we’re told the cleaner didn’t find it, so be careful with your valuables. There is a safe (which we used, but forgot on this occasion).

This is the perfect location in Noumea. Right opposite the shark proof beach. Near to bars and restaurants. The bus to and from town stops almost out the front. And its also a pleasant and easy walk around the bay into town. The staff are friendly and helpful and most is all it scores the highest marks for cleanliness. The rooms are immaculate. We really enjoyed our stay in Noumea at the Beaurivage. Rooms are clean, functional and modern. The location is very convenient, a semi-short walk to most places and restaurants in lemon bay. Great view from the lagoon view room we were staying in. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and did their best to help out whenever we needed anything.

Just a nice comfortable hotel in a really convenient area with lots of restaurants nearby and the best beach in Noumea and the only one open for swimming over the road. The cafe underneath is quirky and great for Breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised at the price and also surprised at the poor condition of some of the much more expensive resorts that were much further out of town. We stayed 9 nights and thoroughly recommend Hotel Beaurivage.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Beaurivage. The rooms were clean although fairly basic. The beds were comfortable and wifi fast. The staff were friendly and the location was great with great views from the street side rooms. There is a great restaurant below the hotel or for more choice a short walk away. This convenient location can mean there can be very loud music from the bar up the road until the early hours of the morning but this was only for one night of our three.

Shame about the swimming restrictions, you can only swim inside the shark nets on Plage de citrons, but at least this is right outside the hotel

First off, I will say I would stay here again and would recommend it. The hotel itself is great and the staff fantastic. My room was spotless and well maintained. The area is great, safe and well provisioned for dining, from the excellent cafe on the ground floor to heaps of options up the road. The beach is literally across the street.
but full disclosure: I had a pretty rough night due to some guests next door partying all night (until 3m) then starting again at 6am - loud music, singing along, raucous laughter, etc. I always carry silicone earplugs but this was well beyond their rating. I made the best of it and watched the cricket until about 2am (Ashes in England). The staff tried to intervene and were abused for their trouble. The 2 huge blokes were pretty intimidating and all 4 of them were off their faces on something high-energy, so it was a tense situation. After they left next morning I saw them on the beach making idiots of themselves all over again. It was just bad luck and entirely beyond the control of the hotel. I've stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world and I suppose my number just came up. I will not be deterred from staying again. The next night was completely peaceful and I caught up on my sleep nicely!

Hotel Beaurivage is located in a cool area in bay de citrons. There are great bars, cafes and restaurants nearby and a pretty cool beach across the road. There is however plenty of loud nightclubs around generating music and loud noise to 4am each morning. The rooms at the hotel were not serviced each day and wet towels were not replaced [when asked]. Small things could be improved here. No milk or creamer supplied. No wine glasses, tea towel or hand towels supplied. A great location however requires some fine tuning to improve service delivery.

This accomodation can be summed up as excellent value for money. Service was also excellent. While room amenties were basic (ie no bottle opener, 2 towels and no face washers etc) it was very fresh and clean, and the price more than made up for any lack there as very reasonable for Noumea. While not 'luxurious' it does not claim to be, and I would certainly stay there again. The location is superb with great beach views from the upper floor. Next to a 'funky' little diner/cafe we made use of more then once too!.

Property is beach front. Only beach you can swim in Noumea currently due to new regulations. There are heaps of restaurants around. Bus stop in front of the hotel. Grocery store is 5-10 mins walk. Room is cleaned everyday and hotel staff are all lovely.

Would have been amazing but there is currently is a swimming ban in all of the beaches of Noumea including Duck and Master Islands - its so frustrating to be directly opposite the beautiful ocean and not be able to get in it. Noumea is a relatively expensive place to stay. Hotels, food, transport can do some damage to the credit card. This hotel, is surprisingly inexpensive by comparison and is very well. Situated. Plenty of eating options. Within five minutes, walk, beach across the road, but those expecting the five star resort experience, it’s not here. The rooms are large, with basic appointments. Think comfortable rural town motel with very friendly staff. Would I stay here again? Definitely.

This is an excellent hotel, values, location, ease of check in, staff friendliness and the best beds (compared to other 4-5stars hotel). I can agreed with another reviewer here… bed is better the most 4* hotels. Worth the ocean view room, the double glacé windows blocked noise. excellent location. I will highly recommend this place. The hotel is very well located directly opposite the beach. Unfortunately the windows aren't double glazed and my room was very noisy, with some people having all night parties in the car park and screaming and shouting all night. I didn't sleep well all week! The standard of the room was 'basic'.

We booked a deluxe lagoon view room (35 square meters - one of the corner rooms with a bigger size) - have got a small room 18 square meters.
- TV did not work.
- Fridge did not work.
- There were small bugs in the room.
Next time we will stay in a different hotel.

What we didn’t like was that the walls weren’t sound proof and we badly overheard the people in the next room throughout the night which was very annoying and it was on a very loud street during the weekend with plenty of drunk teenagers around.

Reasonably price hotel without too many amenities

The bus line was right in the front of the hotel to go to City Centre. The restaurant attached to the hotel was closed for renovations, so a bit disappointed that breakfast at the hotel was not available, but there were options within walking distance. The hotel is also across the street from the beach which was nice and a few meters away from a poplar nightclub. This hotel is rated a 2 star hotel which is a fair rating. It offers bed, desk, refrigerator, tea, coffee, WIFi, TV in room and that's it. I could not find any English speaking channels on the TV, but I wasn't there to watch TV anyway, but on a wet day, it could be a problem.

The location is terrific - right across the street from the beach of Baie des Citrons. Bus stops close by, for travel in both directions. We had a room on the top floor at the front, so the view was great. Walking distance to restaurants, but a long hot walk to a supermarket. We were able to leave our luggage there before check-in time, so that was helpful. There was a small refrigerator in our room, but no milk (powdered or fresh), so we bought our own milk and instant coffee. Overall it was a great place to stay. No English language channel on TV though, so be ready for that.

This is a fantastic hotel in an excellent location in Lemon Bay. No restaurant in the hotel but walking distance to many restaurants and the aquarium, right on the Lemon Bay beach (which is better for swimming than Anse Vata, less windy and calm water). One night we had the room with a view, on the third floor. It was very spacious with a balcony. When we came back from the island we stayed in one of the rooms facing the other side, same decor, very spacious, clean but no internet in the room. We had to go to the stairway or the reception to check our emails. There is only a small difference in price so if you'd like to have wi fi book the room facing the front of the hotel. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English. They booked a taxi and a shuttle for us. Taxis are cheap if you need to go to the Magenta airport for domestic flights (cheaper than the shuttle - about 1400 franks). For the ride to the international airport we used Smithvoyage airport shuttle and it cost us 5000 franks for 2 people. There is a supermarket in Casino Port Plaisance, only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We also used the public bus 10 or 11 to get to Noumea's market (220 franks). The bus stop is very close to the hotel.

Very noisy on the weekends we were kept awake all night ( and i mean until 6 am) by a rowdy party in the next room.
Rooms adequate some upstairs rooms a bit awkward.

This was the worst hotel from our Souther Pacific trip. The staff is not happy at all to have tourists. The room is so dirty, in specially the toilet. We couldn't even take a shower because of the dirt and towels were dirt as well. The location is good, right on the beach, but this is the only plus. Perfect location. Room was clean with a gret view only meters away from the beach. Very noisy from the nearby nightclub that is open until 4am. No coffee in the room so suggest taking your own if you need that first coffee before leaving the room.
Bus stops directly out the front.

We were attracted to Beaurivage for its price and we loved the idea of being so close to the beach. Staff were very helpful, room was spotless and the daily room cleaning was always done quickly and with a smile. Negatives are the proximity to the night club and its very loud music Friday and Saturday nights til 4am, and until 1am on some other nights. Being on the beachfront side of the hotel also meant almost constant noisy traffic. If you like to party and just want a basic, clean beach hotel, this would be perfect for you.

This hotel is in a good location, away from the claustrophobic centre of town and directly across the road from the beach. There are some nice restaurants and bars in the plaza close by, 10 mins walk. The room was compact but very clean and functional. Think Ibis or similar. Everything worked as it should. The late check in (2pm) was inconvenient and even though I arrived at 11am I was told that my room wouldn't be ready until 2 and no attempt to satisfy my desire to check in earlier was made. But otherwise the staff were helpful and friendly. Only real downside was the fire alarm going off at 5am.

Two stays. Recent, well appointed rooms. Think Holiday Inn / Mercure level but definitely more spacious. Mattress in the first one not so good, much better in the second. Showers tend to splash in the bathroom.
Cleanliness was good. My only issue with housekeeping is that they were a bit forgetful at times: removing used items (towels, cups) but not replacing them with new ones.
Location is fairly good too on baie des citrons with quite a few restaurants within walking distance.

In any case, for the price it's very good value. All the basics are covered and we would happily go back.

Bedbugs

You can't blame the hotel for having bed bugs. It can happen anywhere. But their response should have been better. They just said, \"hotel is full, go back to bed\". They also refused to provide an explanatory letter for our travel insurance company.

Good location across the road from beach and close to restaurants and cafes, room was clean and tidy and king bed was comfortable except for my pillow. Room was spacious enough for 2 people with air con and a view of the beach. Staff were very friendly and always provided anything we asked for. For example, we did not have a fridge in our room and when we enquired about it they offered to bring one to our room. My pillow was too soft so I asked for extra pillows. I had to ask for extra towels and toilet paper replenishment (which was the cheap, thin and nasty type). This was a room only hotel with no facilities so we got what we paid for
