The location of this hotel is very central and we could easily walk to the main sites. The hotel is small but friendly and clean.

upgraded to a king, room was very small, unappropriate for king bed. very tight squeeze to access bathroom. needed to step into shower to close bathroom door. Hotel does not provide maid service, no towels changed or toilet paper refill. I inquired at front desk if the maid was going to clean at all and was told to do it myself. staff very unfriendly (except our waiter, who was very pleasant). could be due to expedia's booking process, but would not recommend this hotel, especially for the cost. this was the most expensive (by far) of six hotels we booked during three weeks in Mexico, and the only one I would not recommend.

Nuestra estancia ( fuimos cuatro amigas) fue verdaderamente excepcional. Desde el primer momento recibímos un servicio de primera en todos los sentidos: la atención del personal fue cálida, eficiente y siempre dispuesta a ayudar; las instalaciones impecables, cómodas y muy bien cuidadas; la comida del restaurante deliciosa y de excelente calidad, cada detalle estuvo pensado para que nuestra experiencia fuera perfecta. Nos sentímos atendidas, valoradas y totalmente a gusto. Sin duda, un lugar al que regresaré y que recomiendo ampliamente.

Avoid this hotel at all costs, especially if you're not Mexican. Your safety is not guaranteed.
My stay at this hotel turned into a nightmare. While the reception and room were acceptable, the tiny pool is governed by a strict internal policy clearly posted on-site, forbidding diving.
Despite this, a local guest (served alcohol by the hotel) and his child were allowed to break these rules for hours—right under the eyes of staff, including servers, housekeepers, and receptionists monitoring the pool via surveillance cameras. No one intervened.
After I politely asked the guest to respect the rules, I became the target of hostile behavior and aggressive remarks (the father told his son to “aim for the French”). The child then lunged at me, and while I tried to protect myself, the father—clearly intoxicated—punched me violently in the face, causing a mild concussion.
The hotel staff witnessed everything and did nothing. No support, no commercial gesture. We left immediately, traumatized.
This hotel fails to enforce its own rules and protect its guests. A humiliating, violent experience. Don’t risk your vacation here.
