The location of the hotel is great, only a 3-minute walk from the train station, and the staff at the front desk was super kind! The building is overall really nice, but the rooms could probably use some updating and small maintenance (e.g. peeling plaster on the bathroom ceiling, marks on the walls, etc). They also don't offer a breakfast option. Nonetheless I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel, it's a good value for the price and there are plenty of great pubs and cafes nearby!

Check-in was definitely not what we were hoping for, which was obviously disappointing. We arrived super early, but we knew the hotel didn’t have staff until 9 AM once it was 9 AM. We went to the hotel and attempted to check in early. Obviously our room was not ready and we understood that, so we went back out on the town, left our bags and asked them to give us a call whenever the room was ready, hoping that they would get us in before 3 o’clock (especially after they heard that we arrived at 4 AM) we went back out to explore the town and again checked back in around noonish. Still, the room was not ready but they assured us they would call us as soon as possible. At around 3:30 we went back to the hotel and thankfully our room was ready, FINALLY! What was frustrating was no one had called us, like they had said they would and it was after the check-in time. In addition, they never asked or shared information about the parking that they had available at the hotel, until we inquired about it, after I read the pamphlet in the room. The room was fine obviously tiny but because it was so tiny it definitely made it seem as though they could’ve had it ready prior to 3 o’clock, especially knowing that we had arrived so early and check out is at 11.

Didn’t appreciate the “flag” hanging in the lobby ( not a republic of Ireland flag) and the fire alarm went off because the store below was lighting incense??? Excellent location, service, and quality for a reasonable price. The room was described as “snug” at the time of booking. It was small, as to be expected in a city, but the design made excellent use of cubbies, shelves, and drawers to maximize storage and necessities. Very happy with our stay. Charlie and Oscar (very friendly dogs) made for an extra special welcome.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is in a quiet spot, but is also in a walkable distance to the old town and main attractions. Although the room felt cramped, the bed was comfortable but unfortunately, the pillows were thick and hard. We loved the open shower accessible to a wheelchair. The downside is that it left the entire floor wet, which made it slippery and we had nothing to wipe it off other than our only bath towel. The comforter being extremely thick and warm, a second linen sheet would have been nice for a more comfortable sleep.

We enjoyed the small boutique hotel tucked down a little lane. It was very quiet yet convenient to walk to Eyre Sqaure and the Latin Qtr, High Street, Quay Street and everything you want from Galway. We upgraded to the King Deluxe room and it was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom, hair dryer, modern (usb) power. All was perfect for our 1 night in Galway.

Great location 10-minutes walk from the Latin Quarter. Great shower, at least in the disabled room that we were given. Has air conditioning in the rooms, which we were happy for as the window barely opened. The rooms are very small - we were glad we were only there 2 nights. And the front desk is unstaffed from 9pm - 9am, which did but seem particularly safe given the location. No one was at the desk when we arrived to check in at around 5pm. Parking is all off-site, but the parking garage is an easy 5-minute walk. There's NO place to pull in at the front to drop off bags (however, given that it's city-center, this is excusable). View from the room was horrible! At least it has an elevator. If I had it to do over again, I would stay at The Park House hotel, right next door - it looks much nicer!

The shower was *entirely* exposed next to the sink and toilet so the entire space got wet when showering. The AC was loud and woke up my friend multiple times through the night unfortunately. Made a mistake with this ‘hotel’. A hotel, to me, has a lounge, a bar, a reception area, parking, etc. This place had none of these and I failed to check before booking. The room was very small (there are references to this in other posts, but I didn’t realise how small the rooms were). It’s more like a glorified hostel. If this is all you want then the place is fine, clean and tidy. Not for everyone. Wasn’t happy about the dog in the corridor during our stay either!

The front deft staff do t start until 9:00. We checked out at 8am but left glasses on the room. Came back within minute but front staff were not on duty until 9am. We had to hang around for an hour. Very frustrating. Wouldn’t return to this property. Overpriced and under serviced.

The worst hotel experience. Arrived at the property just after they closed so self check in was provided which should have been ok except they put us in the wrong room. I booked and paid for a deluxe king room, we checked in and it was a room half the size (the snug room) with a double bed. My boyfriend is 6’3 so it was obviously not acceptable, but no one could be reached to address it until 9 am the next day. I tried the after hours line and was told nothing could be done and the hotel was fully booked. Our shower was broken and you had to grab the shower head to have water flow out properly, and then the TV was broken. When they knew that we had been unhappy with the room, the receptionist went for coffee immediately after arriving at work at 9 am instead of addressing our concerns. I was finally told that I was getting refunded when she returned back, and then was only given a partial refund. Do not book this hotel

I booked the double for one person, it was very small but perfect for me. THe gentleman on entering at reception was lovely and helpful and the blonde girl on leaving was also lovely. Basic Irish Tv Channels, No wardrobe to hang clothes or a full length mirror and no extra lock on the door these were my only issues. The bed was spotless and I had a great sleep. Bathroom lovely with a great shower. Coffee machine and kettle with Lyons tea - yahoo!! Fridge not very cold but holds small fresh milk and you get 2 free still waters, very cool ones in pic All in all for the price compared to bigger hotels in the area its perfect, Centra and chemist directly across the road, coffee shop literally next door and only 4min walk from train and buses and Eyre Square. I will definitely stay again. Thanks so much.

The good, Fantastic location and altough they don’t have private parking , the city parking is a few minutes away with a discounted rate, the check in and check out process was quick and easy, and the pillows and the bed were so so comfortable.
The bad, strange room layout, the mirror is up high and at an angle so your neck gets cramped when trying to get ready, we seen a few bugs on the hardwood floor, could very well have been ones we brought in with our shoes form the outside , but it made me squirmish and would have been nice to be supplied with some disposable slippers as the run to the loo at night was cold

I had a snug room, perfect for one person i would say, cosy for two. Absolutely spotless, comfy beds, little bit of noise hearing doors from other rooms so if a light sleeper may need ear plugs if easily disturbed. So so clean, friendly staff. Hotel is positioned between coach station and rail station it is absolutely perfect where it is, right in the heart of Galway. Would highly recommend.
