Friendly staff and comfy bed. But stains on the two chairs in the room, couldn’t open the window very far on a hot (for Scotland) day, and rust multiple places in the bathroom. Bathroom as a whole felt like it needed an update.

Fabulous hotel. Staff was attentive and friendly. Restaurant was fantastic and the bartenders, Alister and Jonathan were incredibly knowledgeable regarding local whiskys and great conversationalists. The room was newly remodeled, super clean and comfortable, with a hot shower with great water pressure and a nice bathtub. Highly recommended if staying in Elgin.

En suite was tiny and the sink was in the actual bedroom as not enough room in to accommodate it in the en suite. The room wasn't worth the £106 I paid for it. The hotel was clean and quite modern and the staff were attentive and helpful. I think due to the age of the building the walls seemed to be quite this so i could hear the TV from the adjoining room along with conversations and shouting. Also the room above was occupied and you could clearly hear them moving around. Despite this i enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to other travellers
