Naia resort was just what we were looking for! It is absolutely magical. Our beach front bungalow was truly breathtaking. It was immaculate, well kept, looked brand new even though it is ten years old and sooooo spacious. The bed was super comfortable, lots of pillows and soft cotton bedding. The outdoor shower was the best!!!!! Oh, if only we could have one at home. Housekeeping came every day and did a splendid job. We are neat freaks and it was just perfect! The grounds are meticulously cared for and truly magnificent! Such a treat to walk out of the bungalow straight to the ocean. The staff and all the employees are sooooo friendly and helpful. They were just a delight to be around. In fact, I asked the gentleman at the front desk to open up the gift shop for me so that I could purchase some aloe vera gel for a pretty bad sunburn...he quickly opened it and I picked up the bottle of gel and he asked if I would prefer the all-natural route. Of course I was delighted to and within two minutes he was back with a beautiful piece of an aloe vera plant that they grow by their little greenhouse. It was truly a lifesaver - first time I have burned that bad and NOT blistered!!!
And the FOOD!!! The food is amazing!!! Compliments to the chef!!!! The waiters are super nice and genuinely concerned about your experience - each and every meal. They are truly experts at their craft.
Excellent fitness center too!
We didn't even leave the resort once because it was so perfect and relaxing.

Wow - this place is AH-mazing! We simply had the best time at Naia. We stayed in the beach bungalows which were beautiful and spacious rooms - the bathrooms were perfectly laid out. I especially loved the covered patio on the from with a table and chairs so we could sit outside and play cards and have drinks. The property is well taken care of and the staff is always cleaning up the beach and making sure the place looks top notch. The staff is wonderful, remembering our names and favorite drinks - such nice people. We also did a couple's spa day which was the ultimate treat - what an unforgettable experience. Naia is a special place and we plan on returning again. Thank you to the incredible staff for making our trip and Naia perfect!

The staff was amazing and the room and beach were beautiful, comfortable and well maintained. The only suggestions I would make: 1. Put a “reserved” sign on the beach chairs in front of the freestanding villas. People who were not using the resort sat in ours and took our cushions a few times. Once when we were on our way out, another couple sat in ours and the staff told us they would move us to other chairs which I thought was inappropriate considering we were guests paying for 11 days. 2. One of the cleaning ladies mopped one side of the bedroom, then the porch (which has mud and bird droppings) then came in and mopped the other side. Maybe others don’t care but this is not clean to me. She should have wet the mop again at minimum. Other than that I highly recommend this resort as it was in a great location and really relaxing and beautiful!

I didn’t like that I was nickel and dimed for everything. We were a group of 5 and went into the village one night requesting a pickup for after hours that we were told would be 30BZD. When we returned each room was charged for the ride which was not indicated beforehand. I think this was unfair. Although the food was good there was not enough of a variety. They should think about implementing daily specials. There was no entertainment or group activities. I would not stay here again or recommend it. It’s overpriced

Absolutely loved this place! It was quiet, relaxing, beautiful with amazing service. Everyone was so friendly, kind and very helpful. The concierge helped set us up with excursions, fun adventure plans and answered all our questions. Our favorite part was that our perfect studio was right on the beach and had it's own porch looking out on to the ocean. We loved having our coffee out there every morning to watch the sun rise. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The staff and the amenities at this property are amazing. Definitely book it. We had a private villa with our own pool and outdoor shower and a beautiful bathtub. The bed was so comfortable and the property was so clean. They have many options for food and drink And the beach was amazing! Unfortunately, it was kind of rainy when we were there, but we still found wonderful things to keep ourselves busy.

I went to Naia to celebrate my birthday, and they helped make it one of the most memorable. I rented the 1 bedroom beach house and though you're surrounded by people it feels so secluded. I want to give a special shout out to members of the staff. Brian and Juan that worked at the Bar and Grill. Juan makes the most amazing drink called the \"Woodpecker\", it's a must try. Julian is the hardest working waiter ever. Sheena the masseuse whose hands felt like they were anointed by God. Omar who helped with my candlelight birthday dinner on the beach and Manuel who offered suggestions for things to do in the village. All of the staff were so helpful and wonderful. I can't sing their praises enough.

Naia is an excellent resort. Our first time at a high end resort like this and the staff made us feel welcome. The food was outstanding and VERY reasonably priced.

They have a fridge and a sink for a kitchenette, so no option to cook your own meals, which we like, but with the reasonable price of the food at the restaurant, and the high quality of the food, this is a very minor quibble.

My favorite beach vacation in my life. It’s hard to contain everything that makes Naia good in a few sentences. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the beach is quiet, shady, and studded with hammocks. The food at the restaurant is excellent. But what makes naia the best is the staff who work there. The front desk is always well staffed with polite and attentive professionals. The wait staff is attentive and kind. And the beach staff, led by Manuel, are knowledgeable and well stocked with all the beach toys (kayaks, SUP). The yoga classes with Jakara were amazing, even my husband loved them who is not a frequent yogi. We will definitely return.

Nice location, tranquil and loved the privacy of the beach bungalows. Bungalows themselves were also excellent - fantastic to have a kitchenette and a kettle! Staff were super friendly and welcoming. The open restaurant by the bar is really good, the one upstairs is a bit soulless. All in all we had a great stay.
Downsides - insufficient beach chairs for the number of properties. There was, maybe 2 chairs for 3 properties. A bit of a joke really. Also the 'continental breakfast' was really underwhelming. Not sure which continent would want that breakfast associated with it.

This was lovely, relaxing hotel. The units are beautifully and simply appointed creating an atmosphere of calm sophistication. The staff were all exceedingly polite and friendly. The grounds are very large and the bungalows are quite private because of the extensive native landscaping. Our \"room\" was very spacious, with a porch, outdoor shower, soaking tub with indoor shower, 2 sinks in bathroom, water closet, kitchenette with dishes and silverware, and a desk area. The furnishings and trims are of tropical wood. Shuttles to airport and town. Restaurants are good, but we preferred the food in the beach bar.

HANDS DOWN, the best resort! We stayed for 3 nights in Placencia, and when we come back we will go here without even second guessing it. Manny at the front desk is EXCEPTIONAL, Amir and all of the dining staff go above and beyond for EVERYTHING! Our room was clean, comfortable and properly taken care of daily. The spa is OUTSTANDING. I have traveled all over the world and this resort/hotel is at the top of my list. They took care of our every need and question. They looked out for us as their guests and I can't say enough good about this property. Hands down, the extra money is worth it and the hotel is beautiful.

Mariano, Angelica (aka PR), J, all the front desk workers, drivers, and people we met in between on the streets of Placencia. Definitely a great place to go and relax and enjoy the Caribbean Sea!

I went for a long weekend with my boyfriend for my birthday-the flight isn’t too long from where we live so easy. We took the small plane from Belize international —> Placencia. The shuttle from the hotel was ready for us upon our early flight with cool scented soothing towels and water bottles. The food at the resort exceeded all expectations (noted by both my boyfriend and myself) way beyond typical ‘resort’ food. We did room service the first night, tried the newly renovated 1981 restaurant the second (which was good but definitely not a MUST -probably better if you go w larger family or friend group but we both loved our food there), our third and final night-my birthday we had a private dinner on the beach by the water which was so romantic, well attended to by wait staff looking over (but didn’t hover…) it was perfect. We lounged by the beach outside of our plunge pool villa (we loved having our own plunge pool) the resort seemed to have a good amount of people staying there but never felt crowded at all. Always felt private, the main pool was never totally full we could always have sat and lounged and swam there with ease and no worry it would be too loud, rowdy or crowded. -but the plunge pool was nice and private and we would go to the pool bar and get a few beers/drinks at a time to keep at our villa for beach/pool. The only issue was a catamaran trip didn’t work out and I wish I booked a backup like spa earlier so we could do something but we were ok relaxing

The property is beautiful with lush landscaping and wildlife to see. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The villa we stayed in was clean and stocked with fresh towels and coffee daily. If I had to give one negative it was that we had to ask them to refresh the pool each morning and that should be done every day since rain and bugs can make it not so nice to get into. Once we requested that though it was done and we enjoyed the private pool right at the villa.

Great Property! Friendliest staff I've found anywhere! Very quiet and away from crowds, perfect for relaxation! Amenities from the spa and gym to the pool and restaurant were great! One of the nicer resorts in Placencia, but at the absolute best price comparitively.

My only feedback would be regarding the \"two\" restaurants. Although two seperate restaurants, one appearing more casual that the other, they infact serve the same menu. My hope was that having two restaurants on the property would provide greater variety of options right at the resort. Not an issue really, just not what i expected.

In the end, we have no complaints. Naia is absolutely amazing, we loved every minute of our 5 nights here and have every intention of staying again next time we come to Plancencia

First, my room was a replica of the Naia website preview. From the moment I turned into the drive I was amazed. What made this place five stars for me were thd extras like rugs to place at both sides of the bed, food tray, outdoor and indoor shower, lots of space, food was great, customer service and views were breath taking. Belize is gorgeous, English is the main language, currency rate fixes at $2 BZE to $1 US. Downfalls of Naia while booking through Expedia. I decided to book at Naia Resort and Spa mainly because during a prior visit everytime I saw a Naia van everyone seemed to get VIP service like at the airport Naia guests were greeted at the airport with cold bottles water and lavender scented towels on an adorable bamboo tray, looked super boujee. I had high expectations! When I arrived to Placencia I wasn't greeted and just sat on the concrete and waited 45 minutes till the van showed up, no water, no towel, but a nice driver. No Welcome Drink. The resort looked down on Expedia, no ViP rewards or Gold member perks but there were 3 groups of guests 1. The residents 2. Naia direct guests 3. Guests who booked through sites like expedia with the lowest service.
The Naia facebook page posted about the $18 health insurance requirements for Belize, but noted \"REIMBURSE THE FULL COST OF THE INSURANCE POLICY FOR ALL NAIA GUEST.\" At checkout when I asked about the $18 credit and was told oh that is ONLY for guests who booked directly through NAIA and NOT Expedia...the concierge went on to say it was out of her hands and made a big deal about it. Not to mention the TV and AC didn't work at first the TV cable box had to be replaced, the AC needed freon. Naias employees were very nice the property was clean, safe and I love Placecia Belize just not VIP like Expedia advertised.

Very very nice resort, right on the beach. We had one of the villas with private pool, steps away from the ocean, spacious house with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms + a kitchen. Lots of activities around the resort + tours around Belize organized by the front desk. No bugs and super relaxing vacation. Staff was incredible and super helpful. Highly recommended for families and couples. Loved every minute. Picture perfect ocean vacation.

Naia exceeded our expectations. The rooms are standalone casitas with gorgeous outdoor showers and private patios snuggled in the trees and flowers right on the beach.

The staff was amazing! They always greeted us by name and were genuinely interested in ensuring we enjoyed our stay.

The Xunantunich tour, lead by Wilder, was an experience we won't soon forget!

Serenity in a beautifully layed out resort. So much privacy between the cottages you feel immersed in the island feeling and nature.
All the comforts of a condo, small kitchen area fresh coffee beans on your counter with a grinder. Sink & small fridge. Favorite: outdoor shower! Big bath area, double sinks & large tub with shower. Service is outstanding! The staff is there to make your stay everything you dreamed of. Spa excellent! Can’t wait to return.

The view is breathtaking. The staff goes above & beyond to make sure your needs and wants are met. I would stay here again. Everything was so clean & I felt safe even at night when the beach area was dark. The transportation to & from tours as well as scheduling the tours for you was very accommodating. Lastly, the Spa & Yoga classes are a must! Naia will be seeing me again.

This was our second visit to Naia and we loved it as much as the first time. The villas are beautiful, clean, luxurious. The staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was amazing, has improved since our last visit 4 years ago. The beach was groomed daily, the pool was pristine, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

The amount that the resort charged was different than what Expedia had quoted by $98 for a 3 night stay. I showed the resort the email confirmation from Expedia and they said it didn't matter that the taxes E quoted were wrong. No way for me to argue that one, so I paid it. The resort is STUNNINGLY beautiful, just be aware that the price may change (or pay in full on E), we used the pay at the resort option.

This place is beautiful!!! Bathrooms are the best beautiful outdoor showers and lovely indoor luxurious bathtubs, clean kitchen/coffee area, so pretty! Great view of the water and beach.

It is away from everything and it was good to have a stand alone villa which is good for privacy. The resort is also quite. There is always a shuttle available to visit other places. It was such a relaxing place to vacation at.
