The room is clean. But the Air Conditioner didn't work well. The front desk staff said they reset the breaker but the AC can only maintain the room temperature to 72-74F, after running for the whole day. The AC is noisy during the night. Overall the hotel is good for solo travelers.
Pei Shyuan
Clean, quiet, a little outdated, I think a microwave in each room would be nice, overall good stay
Loriann
Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean. We stayed on the third floor and rooms were newly renovated and nice. Outside and reception area are older but well kept.
GEORGE
Air conditioning is very noisy
Stacey
The fridge was loud in the room but other than that it was perfect for our stop between Jasper and Edmonton. Very affordable and clean.
Katrina
the room was even better than we had expected! Very clean and roomy, spacious enough for the 6 of us. There is free parking for guests underground and outside. The views of the mountain from the area were beautiful as well. Would consider staying here again when we come back!
Amanda
The property is older; it could use a good amount of cosmetic updating, but the room was clean and functionally everything worked as it should.
The desk attendant, Stan (possibly?), was very accommodating regarding a mistake I made on my booking. I am extremely grateful for the help he gave and the fix.
10/10 on customer service in my experience.

The hotel room had a strange smell to it, otherwise it was great. Very comfortable beds!

Quite pleasent stay. Except wifi refrigerator and microwave parking nothing else was there. Pretty old infrastructure but well maintained I can say. If one word to use to make it better then rework in your carpets and wall color those are dull.
Darko
Nice quiet hotel that is being renovated. Alot of the renovation is done. Price is one of the best I found in Hinton and the location is conveniently located close to restaurants fast food joints , regular quality restaurants ,grocery store and Walmart. Easy acces to the highway .

No restaurant. No place to relax. No elevator. Very old building inside. Would not stay there again.

Check in was quick and easy. Night staff were helpful.
My big concern is that we found a cockroach in our room. The next morning when I told the staff at the front they did not seem to care.

Very dirty and stinky carpet in the hallway. Rooms windows are transparent and people from outside can see thru. Hot water in the bath tub was intermittent. Cofee machine in the room had dust on it. No iron in the rooms. This property is in dire needs of major renovations. This is at best a 1 star motel.

Hotel is a bit old, but reasonably renovated. The lobby is dated and a renovation would help.
Room was clean with reasonable layout. There is no closet, but enough room for hanging clothes.
Beds were not the best but good for the price.
Air conditioner was working properly.
There was enough parking outside.
We didn't use the WiFi. TV had some good channels, but the TV was too small and old for the room. I guess it was 32 inch 720p.
I would recommend this hotel to people seeking good accomodation without expecting a Mercedes for price of a Ford Pinto.

Older facility but very clean and well maintained. Big bonus was it was next door to a grocery store that not only sold groceries but also served hot and cold food for all three meals and snacks. A nice package for those on the road.

I was very disappointed with the front desk service. As I was at front desk, there's nobody there.
When the front desk person showed up at the front desk, I told her I booked 4 rooms due to the reason that my friends had accident so I wanted to cancel all 4 rooms, but I was not allowed to cancel 4, and you cancelled 3 rooms. Then I booked another one ... She said sign the form you are not allowed to cancel any rooms. You have to deal with Expedia. Such kind of service I was really surprised!
As I got into my room and sitting on a small sofa, my white pants stocked with some sands...
I never had such bad experiences before by staying in any hotels.
Highly not recommend stay in this hotel.

It is reasonably clean, but quite outdated. Walls are thin, can hear talking in the halls and adjacent rooms. Fine to stay for a night on the road.

The property is near the highway, but we stayed at the back side so we didn't hear the traffic noise. Though the property is older, the staff have kept it very clean. We observed that staff were pleasant and quite responsive to guests' request.

It’s a dated lodging, but everything is pristine. So so happy with our stay. Close to everything, huge savings as we are not at the hotel much, truly a place to stay. The small updates they have done make a big difference- tub, entrance tile etc. super pleased with our stay. Beds aren’t comfy, but honestly, for the price, and the pristine-ness, we didn’t care much! We will be back!
Allan

Rooms are a bit dated but decently clean. The place is essentially deserted so it makes for a quiet stay. Does make you nervous when you show up and there is only one car in the parking lot and all the other hotels lots are full. Really for the price you can’t go wrong.
We only stayed one night as we were passing through. Not sure I would stay there is we needed more than one night.
