Staff was nice at check-in. When we got to our room, we found the bed headboards with a layer of dust, dirty tissues, and gloves of dust behind the nightstand and an on sanitary plunger sitting next to the toilet. The door to the room led directly to the outside, and it wasn’t sealed, and you could see light all the way around it. It made us feel unsafe. We had prepaid for two nights and checked out after our first night due to being so uncomfortable in the room. The hotel has not refunded our second night and I have contacted Expedia regarding our booking and they were supposed to contact the hotel to address our concerns and to obtain a refund that I have also not heard back from the Expedia representative. I would avoid this hotel.

The room was incredibly clean, with nice, pristine floors, and the bathroom felt beautifully renovated. It honestly felt like a home away from home. Floors were very dirty need to invest in a vacuum or swifter sweeper. Room sleeps 4 but only 3 towels in bathroom. Door seals did not seal. Front desk person did not talk about breakfast. Check out staff not friendly, did not ask how the stay was, if there were any issues or have a nice day when I checked out. Felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Not many plug ins in the room had to plug coffee pot in by sink.

Although my reservation for a wheelchair accessible room was not communicated to the hotel the staff did try her best to be helpful in relocating us to a ground floor room but all of the ground floor rooms had a 3-3.5 inch step up into the rooms. The lady checking us in was very helpful in trying to find a solution even to the point of bringing a wooden ramp. Unfortunately it was too tall and I couldn't use it. Finally we remembered that we had our own portable ramp. The rooms appear to be freshly decorated but very poorly, not in the design but in the quality of thee workmanship. Our room had a king size bed on a queen size headboard. I booked a beautiful room with a view but because it wouldn't work for my chair we were relocated to a room tucked under the stairs and our view in the mountains were of the underside of the stairs. The new paint was brushed over its borders everywhere including the door's lock. The tub was cracked, the bathroom door hit the front of the toilet, the only window was small and almost completely covered over by the TV, and there was a random cord in the corner that came in from the outside, ran up the wall and back through the wall again. The small bifold door closet was beside the bed but could only be opened less than half way because it hit the bed.

Chosen because the price (2 nights $404 taxes included) and ratings were good. Location Excellent. Walking distance to restaurants and mall under 1 block. Lovely walking park behind McDonald's.
L shaped room configuration, 2 queens-- beautiful. Lots of TV stations. Bed comfortable, but pillows not great. Thank goodness I had my own. Vinyl floor great..I Always prefer over rugs. Easy key swipe to get in. Sadly bathroom wasn't redone (place is 30 years old)...VERY low sink and toilet..don't advise for seniors. Tub insert Tiny and No plug for tub. Very old shower nozzle.
👍 Air cond/heat up to date. I left the fan on at night for white noise due to occasional footsteps from above.
I booked so many hotels on this trip..when I came it was raining and when the front desk didn't tell me breakfast hours, I assumed there was none, and so just had coffee in my room for the 2 mornings. Found out about the breakfast when I checked out. My mistake. Please...move microwave to the top shelf and put coffee maker on lower shelf. Very tough to use coffee maker where it is. Let me know when the bathroom is redone and I will return.

Upon check-in at 8:00 PM, we arrived late and had originally requested rooms close together on the same floor as we are a family. While the reception did offer a ground floor option, we were informed that we would need to pay an additional fee to upgrade, which we felt was not appropriate given our initial request. The room includes basic amenities such as a coffee maker and microwave, and breakfast was also basic was fair enough with the cost paid had coffee , bread yogurt , etc

On the other hand, the location is convenient, as it is close to McDonald’s and other fast-food options

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very kind and went above and beyond to make this trip a celebration for my graduation. We had a really nice suite that was spacious and the kitchenette was a nice bonus. Our only qualms were that house keeping didn't do much in regards to tidying up our beds (it looked like the sheet was just thrown back on top of the bed, not properly made) and the breakfast was quite overcrowded, with not enough food out our first morning there (we didn't get much for food). Aside from that, we had no issues with our stay and would stay there again in the future!

My husband forgot his watch - the hotel said they would mail it if I gave them my phone number (which should have been on file??) sent me text messages saying that I needed to pay them by e-transfer $50 to get the watch back. When I questioned this because a flat rate box is $13 at Canada Post, I received a shady response about how there are service fees. I told them I would pick up the watch next time I was in town. When I arrived for check in, there was a number posted on the door to call that went straight to voicemail. I had to phone multiple times while standing outside in the cold trying to get in to check in to our room after a very long day of travel. The breakfast was not great - my son wanted a waffle but the machine was out of order. Not a deal breaker if it wasn’t for the other customer relations difficulty and questionable practices. I likely will not return to this hotel.

My experience at this place was overall terrible. I let the staff know I was likely going to check out early and then let them know the day before I checked out and they had no issues with it until I checked out. They then let me know that I would be charged for all the nights originally booked and could not get a refund. If you talk with the front desk, film it or have them put it in writing because they will dispute doing so. Besides the nightmare of a management to deal with, the rooms are not clean.
