For the price and location (very easy to find, right off the main road), Pines Motel offered a five star stay. It's very clean, the staff is friendly and kind, the room stayed nice and cool and the bed was very comfortable, plenty of parking, and the rooms have a cozy vibe, all of which is great when you're on a budget.

We had a great stay. A couple of minor issues we brought up with the staff through private message that didn’t need to be part of a review.

Room was a nice size, clean, and suited our needs. The gentleman who checked us in was very polite and helpful and provided a great start to our stay.

We will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

The room was tidy though dusty. The carpets were ancient looking. My bed was Very Firm. The entire motel screams early 1980s with very little updating. That said, there were no insects, it smelled clean, water pressure was good. I can't knock it at such a low price!

The price was much better than most around the Jasper/Banff National Parks. The outside of the property was not impressive which made me wonder about the inside. However, I was pleasantly surprised walking in to find a remodel with appropriate lighting and nice furnishings. We had a good night’s sleep and ready to go for the next day. Toilet was a bit close to the counter/toilet paper for a larger person, and toilet a bit lower, which could be a pro or con or indifferent depending on the person.
