The resort is beautiful. Large spacious clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The bathtub was huge and an amazing design. Delicious breakfast. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The kids club could do with a refurbishment, but they did different activities with them every day which they enjoyed.

Amazing hotel with beautiful rooms. When they say partial beach view, it’s a stunning one. Their beach bar is perfect for sunset cocktails. Breakfast was a combination of buffet and order at your table for added seasonal menu. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Great service, nothing like I’ve experienced anywhere else. People go above and beyond, exceptional.

A little paradise

We’ve had the most amazing time at the resort, as soon as we arrived we instantly felt a calm and kindness from the staff. Our room was super nice,the rooms are large and also very big bathrooms and the view was absolutely stunning.

Food has been delicious, good wine lists with reasonable prices for being a high end resort in Asia.

What really makes this hotel special though is the staff, we haven’t met a single person that doesn’t smile at you and they truly go out of their way to make your stay perfect.

It is a very beautiful property; very quiet with a private beach and spacious rooms. we went on the mangrove tour which was very enjoyable. all the food we tried was absolutely delicious. we also played tennis on the well kept court although it was a bit too humid for us to play.

The property location is remote however the beach is beautiful and the star attraction is the sunset truely amazing. It was a pity we couldn’t swim at beach due to jelly fish
The rooms are nice and clean however they are very dated
`the dinning options are limited the the service was very slow. `one night we waited 50 minutes for bar snacks and in the end we left without eating them after hey arrived. Breakfast dishes were cold. I was slightly disappointed as always wanted to stay at the `four `seasons based on reputation. the staff are really never and nothing is to much trouble.We did the mangrove tour through hotel and well worth it - Amy was our guide and he was Great

My husband, our 4 year old son and I stayed here for 9 days and we had an amazing time. The rooms are very large and in a good condition, looks better than the photos. We loved our garden view and afternoon snoozes in our balcony. The resort itself is very large with a super clean beach. Our son loved making sand castles there.
Family pool area is quite large too with good service.
Special thanks to the kids club staff, our son loved the activities they do and they make full use of the resort facilities and its surroundings throughout the day.
We loved everything so much except for the food. The food quality wasn't good and very expensive. Room service was better but gets boring after a while…
We also loved the Mangroves and Eagle Safari, our guide was very informative and scenery is stunning.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

I loved four season Langkawi. The room were great, comfy, large, and had the outside shower and jacuzzi. The hotel has only two restaurants, Malaysian and western grill. The Malaysian restaurant was amazing. We couldn’t swim in the sea as it was forbidden. What I disliked was two things 1- pool area were small and the food takes too long to reach while your in the pool area. As an outside area there isn’t much to do. Overall it was a nice experience.

Amazing hotel

Lovey hotel! Rooms were very spacious and clean. Many amenities provided for my young toddler as well within the room. We chose the ground floor unit which has an outdoor jacuzzi bath, my toddler loved it! Service is excellent from arrival to departure, the staff are aways happy and smiling and try their best to accommodate requests which I very much appreciate. The hotel also has a lovely, clean beach with great views and daily hourly activities for children. The hotel is situated within a UNESCO forest so there isn’t much outside of the hotel- do expect to have to get transport to attractions on the island (not expensive by local taxi). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it left a very good impression of the Four Seasons brand.

The team has set a really high standard on resort life. Everyone was friendly, greeted us with a hello's (amazing training and consistency... it shows). We had a really enjoyable time, each of our days relaxing by the pool (great service from Malik and Raf). Stayed in the garden view lower floor room and it was spacious, very comfy beds, great jacuzzi outside and you get everything you need for your comfort from shampoo to body lotion, to toothpaste/toothbrushes.
After reading many of the reviews, I was concerned about the mosquitoes, especially as it was the rainy season, and I think the hotel does it's best to keep them down. They provide you insect repellant (fortunately I only got 3 bites over the 4 nights which is good in my books - note I wore repellant).
My only feedback was on the resturant side of things. I knew that pricing of food at four seasons was relative to what we would pay in Australia (as I had checked out the menus before booking), but I do feel like it was quite expensive and inaccessible to eat there for lunch and dinner, but this is also my first four seasons hotel, so this could be consistent globally. What I found surprising was entry level wine options was ~300 RM, so 100 AUD.
We ate at Kepala Grill one evening during our stay. I was a bit underwhelmed with the timing. It took our appetizer 70 mins to come out, and then our main followed shortly after. The seafood was cook very well, but probably lacked a bit on the presentation and flavour.

Superb, from the moment I park the car until to my room, the entire check-in process and the given resort tour are super nice. All the staff here is very friendly and willing to help. I was celebrating my fiancee birthday at the beach, all the arrangement is perfect. The room is super nice, clean and spacious. Probably one the best resort I ever seen in Malaysia. The only cons that if have to pin point is that no food serve after 10pm. After all, is a unforgettable stay.

A truly luxurious stay, the staff go out of their way to ensure that your stay is truly memorable. The rooms are cleaned twice a day and they take care to listen to any requests which they aim to deliver. The swimming pool is beautiful with beautiful views of the sea and individual cabana to offer that extra privacy. The only place for improvement will be in the overall exterior lighting which is on the darker side and the use of plastic instead of glas cutlery in the Rhu Bar and pool area, somehow doesn’t feel at place in a luxury surrounding.

I have stayed at dozens of hotels in Langkawi. This is on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The sevice was exceptional as well from the check in experience, the buggy drivers, the restaurant/bar staffs. Greeted by the GM and Director of Guest Experience. Celebrated my birthday with complimentary surprises. Amazing and breathtaking views from the room and pretty much everywhere we went at this 45acres resort. Certainly coming back here again!

I had a wonderful stay for one night. Love the design, and the tranquility that it offers. Beautiful beaches and sea. Haven’t been cycling for a while so it was great to cycle in serenity. I love the adult pool, and how the personnel are giving you excellent services to ensure my stay is close to perfect.

Probably the maintenance could be done better. The jacuzzi button is faulty hence it gives slight inconvenience. Even though the water drips from the hose in the toilet, the maintenance folks quickly settled repairing for me. I waited for 30 min for the bathroom slippers to be delivered to me.

All in all, I would want to come back again.

This is for those managing & maintaining the resort and not for future visitors.

The one week stay at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi (4SRL) was excellent with respect to the staff and their service, the cleanliness, the beach, the sea sports and trips to the surrounding parts, sunsets and the trees, the sun-bathing facilities and the amazing swimming pools. My wife found the Yoga set up amazing with a very knowledgeable teacher. And we both enjoyed the Spa a lot.

The rooms/villas are amazing but now starting to look tired, especially where showers and electrical connections are concerned. Lack of rain had left the place with a lot of dead leaves/branches that took away from otherwise the excellent surroundings.

Food at the restaurants was par excellence. Especially the breakfasts and the evening grills by the beach.

During our time at Langkawi for our first wedding anniversary we split our stay between Andaman and Four Seasons.

The hotel kindly arranged a transfer from Andaman to Four Seasons. This was very pleasant.

Unfortunately our room was not ready when we arrived. We were left waiting as there was not much to do. It was 2 hours before the room was ready.

However, much to our surprise Four Seasons had upgraded our room and organised complimentary cake for our anniversary. This was a very nice gesture and made our stay so much more enjoyable. The room was absolutely lovely!

Due to us having to wait a little for our room. Four Seasons also gave us two complimentary 60min massage sessions. Which were amazing!

The staff and housekeeping at the resort were exceptional. So much consideration was given to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. They were also very respectful of our privacy.

The breakfast and restaurants were amazing! We mostly ate at the Ikan-Ikan restaurant. Firdous was very professional, respectful and pleasant. He made our visits to the restaurant very enjoyable. They went above and beyond to organise amazing food for us! He made it a personal experience for us.

After our dinner we frequently visited the Rhu bar to play pool. The stay there at night were also very hospitable.

We had an early flight therefore Four Seasons have us complimentary breakfast to our room to save us time. We also had complimentary transfer from the resor

Amazing Four Seasons Langkawi

Four Seasons Langkawi is an amazing property on a beautiful location. It is picturesque all around. The best we have experienced so far.

What we found more impressive than the property is the quality of the staff. They truly exemplified what superb hospitality is, consistent with what I expected of Four Seasons. The resort management, the front desk, restaurant staff, the house keeping personnel; there were no details left forgotten during our five day stay there. From the moment we were picked up from the airport, to checking in, and to our departure, we were well taken care of with keen personal attention while getting our privacy.

We usually go to a different Four Seasons resort each year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The experience we had this year at their Langkawi property was phenomenal. We are considering coming back here every year instead; if schedule permits.

Michael, director of rooms; Suyash, restaurant and bar manager; Esther, host in the restaurant; Yash, Abbass and Charity at the front desk; Aipi, the geo naturalist; Rosli, our driver, and the rest of the staff of Four Seasons Langkawi; thank you for creating a moment so unforgettable. Can’t say enough about Michael and his staff. We will be back.

Wife & I stayed 3 nights in Feb. 1st room the Air con broke 3 times so the manager moved us to a beach villa. Big room, very nice except for the lizards, ants & roaches who joined us (and our water got cut off).

Staff are really great and Mr Arvind the duty manager went out of his way to do as much as he could for us.

But the rooms feel tired, dated and showing their age (built 2005?). Example: All the doors on the beach villa had big gaps under them allowing insects, especially lizards & ants by the million, to wander in.

If you are a smoker, then it's worth you knowing that Expedia let us book a smoking room........Four Seasons in Langkawi do not have any smoking rooms. They have rooms with an outside smoking area (balcony).

To be fair, the room was huge, it was reasonably cool during the day and night without having to run a noisy A/C on full blast (even though it's around 35 degrees during the day).

If you want to sit on the beach and get some sun in peace & quiet, this is the place.The beach goes for miles, the sand is clean (maybe a bit sharp here & there), the water is clean and there is no fight for sunbeds as it's not overrun with people.

To sum up our experience, I would say the staff at the hotel can't be faulted, very friendly & helpful. However, we were underwhelmed by the accommodation.

Sorry to say, we won't be going back any time soon.

Great location, poor value for money.

This resort is located in a magnificent, on the beach, location with fantastic gardens and facilities. We were disappointed with the lack of building maintenance, poor quality food and overpriced food and beverages. We did not believe that we received value for money and that this resort did not live up to the Four seasons group standard that we are familiar with. The airport pick up was seamless, welcoming and courteous and we did get great service from the staff. Our one Spa experience was exceptional.

Sehr weitläufige Anlage direkt am Strand. Gut gepflegt. Wir haben eine nicht ausgebuchte Woche erwischt und waren quasi alleine am Strand und Erwachsenenpool. Der Pool ist sehr toll mit Essensservice. Ganz liebes zuvorkommendes Personal. Leider ist das Essen im Hotel extrem teuer und man braucht ins die umlegenden Städtchen inmer ein Taxi.

Beautiful location, food could be better

The resort is beautiful and huge. As such it is getting a little bit tired as takes a lot of maintenance. The beach is stunning.
The room was large and comfortable.
The restaurants are the biggest let down. Small menus and the food was very average. Buffet breakfast was good. Lunch was the worst. Pizza I ordered by the pool was not properly cooked and cold very quickly, salad and even currys were bland.

Warm hospitality - I’m home

This was my second time to Four Seasons Langkawi and we loved every minute of it. Glad to see many familiar faces like Surinder, Suresh, Nova, Aki, Atul and meet new people too like Ben, Jino and Tommy.

Thanks for all your warmth! For wiping my son’s drippy nose, for offering a cold compress when my son was ill, for your flexibility and for always anticipating our needs. Thanks also for helping us do up the room with balloons to celebrate his birthday.

I’ve been to four seasons Bali but this by far is the best four seasons experience I have had!

You have also made my husband a convert.
We’ll be back :)

Relaxing, picturesque, idyllic

The resort is beautiful, beach is private, location is perfect. The one slight issue we had was the aircon was too loud but otherwise the rooms, bathroom, facilities and entire resort were wonderful! Restaurants are good, breakfast is delicious with a great selection and the morning dusky leaf monkey family passing by.

Luxury resort

Service was impeccable. Pick up from the airport, wifi was available on the transfer car. Reception, and prompt buggy pick up to get to everywhere in the resort. Informed the resort that we were celebrating our anniversary and they prepared a surprise bottle of champagne and a cake and a fruit platter. Very lovely touch. Breakfast spread and location was very good. The drinks at the bar were fantastic, the porch swings were also great.

However, food options for lunch were very limited and expensive for the quality and quantity of the dish. Might be worth considering getting lunch or dinner elsewhere. Also, some essential common toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpastes were not provided in the room, which we found strange. It will also be great if more complimentary activities were provided throughout the day.

Nontheless, we were well pampered by this luxurious resort and will definitely return again for the great service team.

Luxury with great service and peaceful surrounds

Stunning hotel and amenities. Loved the adults only pool, the free bicycles to ride around the resort. The walk to breakfast along the beach. Great meals in all the restaurants and the most beautiful comfortable bed. Partial ocean view villa was perfect

Badly in need of maintenance. E.g. Our room Aircon did not work ! In a four seasons hotel , this is amazing.

Worse was that after I reported this to hotel, they never turned up to repair.

Luxury resort on large beach

It's a Four Seasons, so it delivers the high quality you expect. Food and drinks were excellent at the restaurants and bars. Great selection of food, wines, and drinks. Service was outstanding everywhere and at all times, with very friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging staff and management. Grounds and architecture are very nice and well maintained. Wide beach, about a mile long, is nearly deserted and offers scenic views and sunsets. Very nice adult and family pools. Quiet resort, a good place to unwind with \"casual elegance\" vibe. Enjoyed the cool background music at the main bar. Outstanding breakfast buffet with many styles of food, lots of cook-to-order options. Fresh fruit, juice drinks, and ice water served around the pool areas periodically to keep you refreshed. Spacious and comfortable room with all the amenities and good AC. Guests are an upscale group from all over the world. We really enjoyed our stay at this outstanding resort. Everything about it was excellent.
