Staff was nice and helpful special shout out to Marcelo who gave us some great pointers on where to eat and what to do. we ate at the three Chinese restaurants within walking distance less than five minutes all excellent.

Rooms devoid of fancy extras, but absolutely spotless and the beds very comfortable, and my room on the street had very soundproofed windows, didn't hear a thing. Hotel Kolpinghaus Wein Zentral was a great place to stay and I would totally recommend it as a place to stay.
It is easily walkable (15 mins.) to the museums and many of the major sites in central Vienna; it is 5 mins walk to the underground and there are loads of restaurants (all types of cuisine), in the local vicinity.
All the hotel staff are amazing; everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is very good and the staff are amazing at keeping everything topped up and clearing/cleaning the tables promptly.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and found the location to be great. Far enough away from the main tourist areas that it was fairly quiet, while also being super close to transport links and also very walkable.
The hotel itself is quite unique so if you're expecting a classic hotel layout and design, you won't get that. However, the rooms were clean, had plenty of storage and comfortable beds. Although you could use a spare pillow.

Si bien es cierto no posee aire acondicionado no fue necesario utilizarlo por la temporada que fui en octubre la temperatura era agradable de todas formas dentro de uno de los closets había un ventilador. Considero una buena relación precio calidad. A lado del hotel hay un supermercado y restaurantes. El desayuno muy bueno había de todo un poco y lo bueno era que inicia muy temprano y te da la oportunidad de tomarlo antes de iniciar cualquier tour. Tiene guarda equipajes.

1 - This hotel worked well for me as it is a 25-35 minute walk to the places I wanted to visit, which fit within my itinerary. However, if you’re not a fan of walking, it might be better to choose a more central option, as there are similar hotels in a more convenient location for the same price. I guess you can also use Metro, it is work to check it.
2 - The female staff members were not as friendly or helpful as the male staff. As a woman myself, I’m sorry to say this, but it’s the truth. I suggest some customer service training for the ladies.
3 - I needed to extend my stay by one night due to a last-minute day trip I booked, and the last available room wasn’t as nice or clean as the first one; it was also a bit smelly. Room 508 is a nice room with a street view.

Room facilities are in perfect condition, bath room facility like new and perfect shower, washbasin and toilet, sufficient number towels provided with other toiletry product. Generally facility decorated reasonable quality, fresh like quality. TV size is small, it is two single beds, no plug socket near the bedside etc are little needy. Breakfast was provided good taste, fresh and perfect clean. Reception staff helpful. Hotel location is the perfect location to go anywhere in Vienna, well connected with local transport. Opposite side burger restaurant food was great.

Hotel was clean, quiet and well maintained. Location was about a 20 minute walk to the Opernring (where the attractions really start). We were there during a cold week so the walk seemed a little unnecessary. Service was good, breakfast was excellent. There is a good market right next door but the hotel itself has no food or drink options after the breakfast ends at 10:00am. So if you get thirsty or hungry plan on a walk of at least five minutes and probably more like ten. No microwave or fridge in the rooms.

Hotel is partially a student dorm, but this posed no issues. The breakfast was ample and tasty and the staff was attentive. My room had 2 twin beds, thankfully as on was missing 2 slats and gave in when I sat down. The other bed was fine and my stay went on without issue. Hotel allowed me to drop off bags before check in and even leave them after check out as I had a late flight. Would recommend!

Located just a 10 minutes walk from the historic city centre, near to the Opera House, in what is an upcoming area, including gay bars and clubs, plus a nearby street market and restaurants. The hotel is part hotel and part student residences. The room was large, the shower excellent, and with breakfast buffet included it was very reasonably priced. There were two large wardrobes and plenty of shelves. The room also contained a safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, we stayed for 5 nights and will certainly stay again when we next visit Vienna.

Didn't realise that for the hotel aspect you are still staying in student dorms. The pictures of the rooms look much better than the actual rooms. Room was mostly clean and spacious but the heating in the room barely worked. I was told this was an issue with some other rooms and couldn't be seen to until the Monday so my time in the room was rather cold, especially since housekeeping kept the window open upon me checking in and with little heating it took a couple of days for the room to warm up even slightly.

However, the gluten free bread not good (in this day there's no excuse for bad gf bread). The gf cereal contained milk. Our stay at the Kolpinghaus was very pleasant indeed. The facilities are good and kept clean. All staff was really helpful and friendly and we would come and stay here again. A tasty and appetising breakfast is served too. Simply an overall positive experience!
