RESIDENCE CENTRAL has 10 ROOMS, all carefully and elegantly arranged and equipped in order to meet our customers’ wishes.
The building dates back to 1909 and is a genuine proof of Art Nouveau/Jugenstill with original elements still preserved, such as the facade, mosaics, fireplaces, flooring, chandeliers and furnishings. The excellent location, right in the city center, allows you to walk to the most important sights.

Great location with amazing view of Black Church. That’s about it. Parking was horrendous! They only have three spots for the hotel so you have to get lucky with parking in the area. The bathroom reeked of sewage and we had to keep the door closed. It was unbearable. Hotel also doesn’t have an elevator.

The room we got was on the first floor in the back next to a path which made it quite noisy from outside. It was very and very humid, our bed and sheets were humid, our clothes after 1 hour got humid.

Loved this hotel. Very friendly reception, beautiful quirky rooms. Wonderful location. They will evev sell you a bottle of wine and the rooms have 2 wineglasses and a corkscrew thoughtfully provided. One improvement could be made: kettles in each room with a few teabags and some coffee would be great. Really missed my early morning tea.

We were received by a lovely receptionist who booked us in quick and provided us with clear instructions and places to visit. The hotel is beautiful, clean and furnished to a high standard. The breakfast is the best we had for a long time with a big variety of food too long to mention. The hotel is in a prime position in the centre of Brasov but very quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend it for its great value.

So, we booked Annapolis very last minute and it was only ok. We booked it as it clamied to have parking and offered a breakfast (we paid extra for this). We arrived and no parking and breakfast was a 4 minute walk down the road. We had to circle the town for 2 hours to find parking which was dissapointing. The room was huge a spotless and had interesting period features. There weren't enough pillows and we had to use our clothes to make it comfy. Breakfast was a disaster. It's in another hotel and the staff there treat you with absolute contempt, literally threw a menu at us. Apparently we were only allowed 1 drink in spite of the menu saying 2 drinks and they practically threw the food at us. We didn't return after that first incident! Too rude! Annapolis, please review your claim of parkinh and review where you send clients for breakfast

Hotels.com mentions parking available but did not mention we had to call the hotel reserve a spot. There was only one available and we had two car in our grasp one had to park farther away and take a bus back to the hotel. Also hotels.com should mention there is no air and no elevator.

A boutique hotel. Amazing location allows for a quick nap if needed. Cozy rooms with a modern/antique flavor. Excellent breakfast even if at a nearby hotel. Not a problem for us but some might find it so. No lift and on a Main Street. If I have to choose between road noise or medieval cobblestone’s, I choose first. Very clean bathroom and friendly stuff. Public parking nearby was cheap and not a problem. You cannot go wrong with it, unless you drive a Bentley

Centrally located hotels tend to a problem because of the noise at night. However, the rooms at Annapolis are impressively soundproofed. I slept like a spoiled baby.
Rooms in Annapolis have no AC. I was concerned about this at first but my experience with European cities, especially a city in the mountains, is that the temperatures drop rather drastically at night. Opening one window for two hours (8pm - 10pm) along with the provided fan, cooled my room enough to last through the night. The temperatures in Brasov during my visit ranged from 78° F to 84° F (around 28°C), it was quite hot in the day. Pretty cool at night. This was in mid September.
My room had direct views of the Black Church and the Brasov sign on Mount Tampa.
Along with a comfortable bed, every detail about this hotel was A++.
From the staff, to the views, to the location, to the comfort, it’s one of the few hotels I recommend with the highest regards.

The location couldn't be better for exploring old Brasov. It's easy to walk all around to restaurants, bars, and shops. The room was very nice and had a view of the Black Church. We were in an attic room on the 3rd floor (4th floor in the US) so a lot of stairs. On the first day it was about 80F out and that attic room was very warm. When the temp went down it was fine.

This trips should have been great, as we’ve booked this place right across the street from the Black Church, in the old city part of Brasov.
However, we’ve been very dissapointed by the fact that the heating was working properly in the room. When we arrived, it was really cold inside (beginnig of October, near the mountains), we were told that heating is turned on only at 21:30! Well, it was turned on (by that time the kids took a bath and were already in bed), and then turned off after a short time, and after that turned on and off for the whole night!! It’s my first experience of this kind, and not a pleasant one… The receptionist brought us an electric heater, but obviously could use it in one room in the same time. And when the central heating was turned on, it was too hot so had to turn off the electric heater… A “lovely” night as you can imagine…
The breakfast was good, but you had to 100m down the street to another hotel, a proper hotel, as Annapolis is not a hotel, as it is marketed here…
To wrap it up, I’m sure there are plenty of other options nearby this place…

The stay was great and the location across from the black church was perfect! Only downside was no air conditioning in the delux room, along with many other rooms. Luckily my 75 year old Mom was able to get an A/C room. Seemed odd to pay more for a room to get no A/C.

When I found that my shower head was broken and requested it be repaired, I was told it would happen. I come back to not only find that it was not, but they knew it was not fixed and they did not seem to care about the issue in the least. Overall the hotel is in nice condition and in a great location, but the lack of air conditioning and customer service are major negatives.

I am sure the hotel is great if you get a room above ground, but if you, like us, get a room below ground, it is not as good. The room smelled like a cellar and the sheets were damp and musty. We loved our stay at the Residence Central Annapolis. The room was beautiful with a view of the rooftops and mountains, very pretty furniture and design. In a quiet courtyard but very central accross from \"The Black Church\". Good wifi, cable TV, Kettle etc. We parked for free on a nearby street about 5-10 minutes walk away.Very friendly and efficient staff.Brasov has a lot to offer although busy with tourists. We walked round the town by the walls and enjoyed the cable car ride to the top of the mountain. Also visited \"Draculas Castle\" close by at Bran . Very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is in a great location - opposite the Black Church and close to the main square. Good restaurants are nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room is a good size but the bathroom is very small.

The room seemed grim and grimy. Cracks and chips in floor tiles, floors creaky when walking. No hot water first night but was fixed for second night. Wish we had chosen another property, though we did appreciate the closeness to the main square.

Annapolis is a lovely hotel. My family (mom, dad, boy, girl) stayed in a very large 2 bedroom private room. The bathroom is nice and fancy. The shower is very powerful. The people who work at the hotel are incredibly helpful and nice. It is right across the street from the black church and I'd say it's in the center of downtown. It's by the main square, which is beautiful, and there are numerous restaurants and cafes. They helped us book our tour (Land of Dracula-a total must) and even though we checked out, they let us keep bags there the wrote day. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent place just across the street from the main plaza. Comfy rooms and friendly staff. Easy walk to good food, bars, shops, sights, and the hike up to the top of Mt. Tampa. Makes a great base for exploring Brasov and Transylvania.
