This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy some fantastic scenery. But you really need a car to stay here. In principle, the pensuinea is a 15-20 minute walk downhill to the center of town, but it's still a steep incline. Then there's the uphill walk, which would challenge a professional marathoner. We stayed during August, but we can't imagine making the walk in winter. Otherwise, there's not much to do immediately around the pensuinea with only one restaurant (an expensive one!) within easy walking distance. Beyond the hilly location, this was an excellent pensuinea.

A wonderful boutique B&B with the most incredible location overlooking Brashov. Quiet and quaint with parking on premises. A great garden with orchard trees, breakfast was good, fresh and a great way to start the day. Its a great getaway location

Beautiful location in Brasov

This was the perfect place to stay in Brasov. A 15 min walk away from the old town in a beautiful peaceful setting with views across the mountains.
Large garden and orchard where you could sit on sun loungers and enjoy the view.
The place was very clean and our room was spacious and comfortable.
We arrived by train and an Uber cost approx £4 to get us to this accommodation.
It was a great place to explore Brasov old town and climb Mt Tampa from without needing to drive anywhere.

The view of this area is a highlight! The rolling hills and mountains in the background. The property is an optimal distance to the downtown for a meal while also providing good access to places like Sinaia, and Bran.

Morning breakfasts were relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The property is kids friendly, with toys and a green space to keep them occupied. Recommend for a relaxing get away to the Brasov region.

Overall it was an average hotel with some decent views. I imagine the outdoor area is pleasant during the Spring and Summer but we visited in December. Within walking distance to town but coming back up hill is a tough hike. Watch out for the dogs if you do take the walk to the city. The room was clean but needed some updating. Our drink cups in our room had dried red wine in them but somehow still had the plastic sanitized covers on them. The bed was very low to the ground. If you’re an American you’ll notice that beds including the one here are not made with a top sheet and the comforter is split in half and very small. It wasn’t a bad place but I would recommend somewhere different for a more memorable stay.

We booked due to the positive reviews we read online and the b&b didn't disappoint. We only stopped for one night and wished we had stopped longer. We arrived in the dark and had such a pleasant surprise with the view from our balcony in the morning.

We really struggled to think of negatives, if we had to nit pick, the pressure in the shower wasnt the strongest & there was no tea and coffee facilities in our room, but the staff boiled a kettle whenever we needed this for our baby, put our ice packs in the freezer to keep his milk cool & provided a cot in our room. The cot looks really comfy & we all slept well. There is AC in the rooms, or heating should it be required.

The grounds are beautiful & I'm sure would be lovely to sunbathe in the summer.

For breakfast we had tea, coffee, toast, cereal, yoghurt and my partner had a cooked breakfast. There was also juice and fruit too.

The property is located in a beautiful part of the city with a wonderful view. However, it is not an easy walk to the old part of the city. We took rideshare because we didn’t feel comfortable walking on the road. Breakfast was served between eight and 10 and we were not able to enjoy the full buffet, because we had to leave earlier. I would suggest starting to serve breakfast at seven to accommodate travelers.

Heavenly stunning Hotel

It is the best hotel I have ever been with.. I have been to 4 or 5 stars hotels before but this one feels like you are at your home. It is so comfortable , superb views and access to places quite easily. A must to stay hotel when you are in Braşov. It is absolutely stunning with the friendliest staff members.

Overall this is a nice place to stay. The room was decent sized and clean, the breakfast is very good. The major negative was when we first entered the room and checked the bathroom, it had a very strong sewer smell. They came up and poured water in the floor drain. Apparently this is a common occurrence when the floor drain dries out. Fortunately, the window in the bathroom could be open and the bathroom aired out. Apparently this is a common issue - which means they should check it and address it before sending guests to their rooms.

A real find

If you didn't have a phone and GP you'd never find the place, but when you do it's so worth the effort. Beautiful location up behind the medieval city of Brasov, very friendly and helpful reception, gorgeous view into the valley behind and seemingly new facility. Excellent breakfast included.

Lovely hotel 10 mins walk from the Black Church and city center (steep road), yet in a green quiet area on the road to the national park. We loved it, staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was plentiful. My only suggestion would be that the lost apartment is missing a kettle (I live in Britain, it's a thing here!). Overall great little place.

Amazing Views & Large Room

We stayed on the top floor in the one bedroom suite. Just to note, there is no elevator in the building for those who may need that type of accommodation. We had two balconies which both had amazing views. On one side we could see the mountains including the Brasov Hollywood sign. On the other, we could see back towards the city. The area was very quiet and the room was very spacious. The bathroom was large with a nice bathtub and plenty of counter space. There is parking available at the hotel and a nice outdoor sitting area. Old town can be reached downhill by walking, but having a vehicle or using a taxi is probably preferred, especially coming back uphill. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would most definitely stay again.

Nice place, not near much

I chose this place becuase I had a car and didn't want to worry about parking...but it was quite far from town. And though it does have the nice garden you see in the photos, that's about it for the view. I had the garden and then people's houses/buildings. There was a very vocal dog somewhere so if you need total quiet, keep that in mind. The staff were nice. Didn't help with my bags. Breakfast was ok with plenty of options. The Belevedere Restaurant down the road is EXCELLENT for a nice evening out. It's a little fancy so I wouldn't recommend going in jeans/travel pants. Though there was nothing wrong with my room or the pensiunea, I didn't realize how far it really was...so be prepared to drive down to the centre to see sights, etc. If you have kids, I'm sure running around in the garden would be great fun!

This is an excellent place to stay in brasov. I really couldn't ask for a better experience. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were beautiful, the beds and sheets were comfortable. The room I stayed in had 2 balconies. There were snacks around the clock and a nice complimentary continental breakfast. If I come back to brasov, I definitely staying there again.

Only downside, while it's a bit out of the way, it's not far enough out of the way, so some of the cab drivers didn't want to take us there because it wouldn't be worth their time. It's a bit of a walk to the town square but I've got a fat friend who did it without too much complaining.

beware two tipes for the same bedroom

Relay on the splendid reviews on tripadvisor such as the room photos on the hotel web sights we order 3 month in advance a double bed room for 5 nights. When we came we surprisingly find out that the room we got is smaller than the one we have seen in the pictures. Also the double bed is made of two mattress stick together on one bed. After arguing with the owner about what we thought was a missleading of the hotel photos on the web site, he says it is up to the management of the hotel to decide which gests got which room, that we should have noticed of the different types of room and asked the one we want in advance. Also when things got hot, he ruddly added that if we don't like what we got we
Could go somewhere else (19:00 pm! ). At the end thanks for the kindness of him we changed room after 2 nights.
Leason to future gests: be aware that in this hotel there are 2 different types of doublebed rooms, make sure in advance that the one you mean is the get.

Relaxed atmosphere, in a room with a balcony overlooking the hills and mountains. Although lacking in catering for dinner and tea, the staff will do everything they can to sort out a cup of tea or coffee, with a bun. Quite surprised to find bacon, eggs and sausages for breakfast, which was a help yourself buffet.

Clean modern pension on the edge of town

The hotel is about 15 minutes walk down a steep hill from the old town, in a quiet area. The building is modern and very clean. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfasts can be taken on the veranda, with great views of the mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Toscana is a lovely guest house set on a hill in Brasov. It was extremely clean and comfortable and our room was really good size. We had opted for a room with a view and had two balconies. They have a huge garden and we overlooked this and the hills around. Breakfast was really good and there was always tea, fruit, biscuits and cakes available free of charge in the reception area. If someone was available they would happily make you a coffee. The staff were always helpful although there was not someone on the desk at all times. The guest house is only about ten to fifteen minutes walk from Brasov centre but the hill is quite steep and the walk back was slower and, at times, hard work in heat. You could take a short taxi ride but we opted to walk back each time. A lovely location. We enjoyed it and it was good value for money (also had good wifi connection).

We had a wonderful stay in the suite on the top floor. The breakfast and amenities were superb. The view and size of the room spectacular. The only issue was with the black out screens. Did not work and too few. The fold out sofa bed needs to be replaced. All else was first class!!!

Clean hotel - nice breakfasts - the staff we saw were very pleasant. Very steep walk down to town which is a killer on the leg muscles so make sure you stretch before you set off! You can get a taxi back up to the hotel but go for Mar-Tax (the rank behind Ecaterina's Gate). We found that the minicab drivers were most reluctant or refused to take us. Not far enough I guess! Brasov is lovely but a couple of days is enough to see it. If you are there for longer make sure you book some tours of the surrounding areas/attractions. (Land of Dracula are excellent if you don't have your own car.)

Fantastic Hotel with very accommodating hosts. We stayed in the suite and it was extremely spacious and comfortable with two balconies. Breakfast was excellent wide choice of hot and cold dishes and you also had tea and cakes available all day which was a nice touch.

The hotel is very nice. The location is on the hill with beautifull view on the mountains. If the weather is nice you enjoy breakfast on the terasse. You can easily walk to the old city. Coming back costs you less than 2 EUR by taxi. I would definetly stay again.

Warm welcome. Clean room. With all the usual facilities. Mini bar fairly priced.
Air conditioning.
No restaurant at the hotel. But directed to a lovely one 2 minutes away.
Breakfast was good. Freshly cooked omelettes. Cereals. Juices.
Other residents were noisey and a few dogs barking outside. But slept well

Well worth it.

Lovely view, friendly staff, clean, comfy bed, very good breakfast. It is a little out of town but you are rewarded with the view. Old city is a ten minute walk down hill but a daunting hike back up or only a ten lei taxi fare. Would we stay there again? Definitely.
