It was tough to find a good hotel up here on our road trip, but Bodega Bay Lodge ended up being such a wonderful surprise. The view from the property is absolutely amazing — you can just sit and watch the bay for hours. The pool and hot tub overlooking the water were the perfect way to relax after driving, and the fire pits at night made it feel so cozy.
The restaurant on site was excellent, with fresh seafood and a great wine list, so we didn’t even feel the need to go anywhere else for dinner. In the morning, we took a walk down to Bodega Beach, which was such a peaceful start to the day. The whole place has this mix of comfort, charm, and relaxation that made us wish we had planned to stay longer.
We’d definitely come back on another trip — it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and really enjoy the moment.

We loved the lodge. Very clean, very friendly staff, beautiful setting, great restaurant onsite, loved the heated pool and hot tub. If I was to suggest an add, it would be 'moderate or easy' hiking trails leading out right from the lodge to really explore the grounds in a planned, safe, way. There is a lot of area to discover and really the only option you have is to walk or ride bike all the way to the beach.

Heater did not work very well, bed was super uncomfortable, water backed up in the shower and toilet seat wouldn't stay up. The worst part was the restaurant. The bill of ocean front dinning with the quality of Applebee's. Imagine no local seafood at a seaside restaurant. This place needs to be on the old Ramsy show where he goes in and reqorks it. Breakfast was somehow worse.

We loved the view & the great hot tub especially! The rooms were very comfy…I’m not crazy about espresso, but I’m sure some enjoyed the espresso machine. Nice to have a beverage fridge too. We were able to take advantage on Thurs of Wine & Cheese night! That was great.

This was a beautiful place to stay for a couple nights of rest and relaxation. We enjoyed the view and the happy hour with fire pits.
For some reason when we checked in, they put us in a handicapped accessible room so we had to pay extra to get a room with the view. That was a bit disappointing as this was our anniversary trip. Also, the heat in our room, never worked. The room never got above 63° so we were pretty cold. Paragraph the restaurant on site was very disappointing. The food was not what I would expect from a resort of this caliber. The location was great and we were able to drive and visit nearby places.

This property is truly stunning, offering spacious rooms and top-notch amenities that made for one of my favorite hotel stays ever. The highlight was undoubtedly the hot tub at sunset—an unforgettable experience.

This is definitely not a real resort. There’s little to no amenities. There’s no elevator, no bellhop, nothing really special. I’m not sure why conde nest rated i The best resort in the world. We have stayed at far superior Hilton. It’s a nice 4 star hotel but the 2 restaurants on premise are terrible. Overly priced and mediocre. Service was the wordy though. Took 40 minutes to get a beer. Cooked a medium hamburger raw. If you are absolutely going to bodega Bay, this is one of the nicer hotels, but this is definitely not a top-tier hotel. Staff doesn’t greet you.

The view from the room was beautiful. The room was very comfortable and easily accessed. We reserved an \"accessible\" room; however, while the room and entrance were accessible, the room had a bathtub, not a walk-in shower with a drop-down chair, as all other accessible rooms have. This was the only negative but a big one if you have any disability. I would suggest that management correct this or not describe the room as accessible. At the very least, explain that the room has a tube and no sitting accommodations. Short of that a wonderful time and we will stay there again.
