The internet connection in thebroom I was in was defective.

Simple rooms but we were comfortable.
We very much enjoyed sitting by the pool outside the rooms and watching the Antillean Crested Hummingbirds zipping back and forth amongst the flora.
There is quite a variety of tasty dining options within walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel is very conveniently located to get to most parts of the island.

The pool area (with hammocks) was pretty cool.
Room was basic, but it was nice to have a fridge and stove/microwave. There was a coffee machine in the room (but without coffee pods)? At least they had a coin coffee machine in the lobby.
Water pressure was hit or miss. Parking after 6 pm was a nightmare (May be because of carnival week?)
Breakfast was very nice, the lady working there was very nice and friendly

One pleasant night

We needed to stay within short drive of the airport on our last night in Guadaloupe. This hotel was about 15 minutes to P-a-P airport. In the little kitchenette we were able to heat water to make our morning coffee prior to our early departure. The outdoor pool was spacious enough for lap swimming. The onsite restaurant served a nice dinner. We strolled down the road to the Friday night market place in Le Gosier for an interesting diversion.

Definitely worth to stay in

It's a great place to stay for a couple of nights, the rooms are small and look a bit warn but functional and clean. Big comfy bed and bathroom with a massage shower, only slight minus for me was that there's no private balcony. Lots of other places to sit down and read a book outside, though. Staff is friendly and we had no language barriers, the breakfast buffet had something for every taste: from fresh orange juice and fruits to bacon and croissants. There's some good restaurants nearby and a public beach within 15 min walk. Close to the airport, too. I definitely recommend this place.

Room smallish but clean. TV all French. WiFi good. Shower good. AC okay. Pool area and pool very nice. Easy to eat outside in large patio area. Polite and helpful staff, some fluent in English. Good restaurants groceries ATM bakery and a decent beach all w/in walking distance. Fruit market store w/smoothies and good coffee close by. Easy to locate, free parking, close to airport, I highly recommend and I would stay at this place again.

Decent hotel close to airport.

Stayed one night January 11th. Chose this hotel because of proximity to the airport. We had a late night arrival and did not want to travel too far on unfamiliar roads. It is right off the highway in a somewhat congested area, so had to watch for signs with all the roundabouts!. The hotel management provided good directions.
The room was small, but very clean. After unpacking we also were able to enjoy our first drink in the warm Guadeloupe night, poolside! Can't forget to mention how pleasant and very helpful the night desk clerk was!!

Pleasant stay at Hotel la Maison Creole

We only needed a place to stay the night before our flight. This hotel had nice Caribbean character and charm. Set in a garden, also has a pool. A 20 minutes and 30 euro cab ride to airport so convenient for a transition night. Extremely nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms with cute little kitchens. There was a problem with our first room and staff quickly gave us a different room. Restaurant next door very good. We’ll definitely use hotel la Maison creole again. Good value.

Great price and location

This was my second stay, my first was 7 years ago. I stayed because I liked it the first time and the staff remembered me from my first stay!! I was on a business trip with my business partner so we did not spend much time to use more of the facilities. However, the internet worked very well which was important for us. The beds were small but comfortable. A small kitchen was available in the room so I'll definitely consider that next time! The included breakfast was typical of hotel fare so nothing to talk about. The hotel had nice gardens and a pool for guests who want to relax. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with friendly staff. definitely will stay again in future.

Great staff and overall set up; poor condition

This hotel, close to the airport, has great potential and very helpful staff. Reasonably priced too, at about $83/night. However, the shower tap was blocked on cold and low pressure, thus I could not have a shower. I never thought that, after a very long flight involving 3 plane changes I had to check the showers in a 3-starred hotel room. I wonder how a 2-star room looks like then. Now I learned my lesson - check everything on arrival. The TV is as tiny as a computer monitor - I preferred to watch a movie on my laptop. No coffee maker. I only stayed for a day, in-between flights, but I would not spend a vacation there.

Nice hotel. Was here for one night before a flight back home. Rooms were clean, working a/c and Wifi, nice pool. The hotel is a walk away from restaurants. Beach is not very far (1km) but may need a car to get there. Only 10-15 minutes to airport.

One night stay after arriving in the evening.

We stayed one night, after arriving in the evening. Room nice, clean, comfortable. Beautiful garden and pool. Staff very nice, we we late for the breakfast, the lady assisting with breakfast made us breakfast. We dinner the previous night at the restaurant next to the hotel. Very good. Everybody was nice and patient with our French, and English.

Very cute!

I was only here overnight, but enjoyed the stay! The standout for me was the incredibly nice staff--I had too much luggage and the gentleman behind the counter carried it to my room for me. I had asked to arrange an early taxi to take me to the airport and they did so, the taxi was even there early! I wish I could have stayed longer!

My husband and I needed a place to stay for one night before a flight back to the USA and were very pleased with this hotel. We arrived almost four hours before check-in because I had a case of food poisoning and all I wanted to do is sleep it off. They found an available room for us and I couldn't have been more pleased. We also asked them to arrange a 6am taxi for us and the driver was there 15 minutes early.

A basic hotel; OK for overnighting.

La Maison Creole is a budget hotel at most. Located about a 25 minute ride from the airport in moderate traffic. The facility is adequate for overnighting with clean rooms but somewhat dated furniture and overall appearance. The management is helpful and the food was tasty but limited in scope. Found the free internet functional and definitely a plus. The management was very helpful in assisting with the printing of boarding pass for onward travel.
Overall a good affordable hotel for overnighting or a short stay and I would have no hesitation returning to Hotel La Maison Creole.

We were looking for a hotel for a one night stay close to the airport. The room was small and had a molding smell. I did like the pool and pool area. The staff was very pleasant. I found it interesting that they issued a room key and TV remote at the front desk, with instructions to leave the room key at the front desk if we were going out at all.

Very nice place for its price. The hotel is older & the rooms were small but very clean. That did not matter because we did not spend much time in the room. Very little English is spoken on the island. We lucked out because Jean-Bernard (JB) at the front desk spoke enough to be very helpful to give us help on finding places to go & to eat. A nice place to stay.

Paid 180 Euros for one night, no tea or coffee making facilities, not even a glass to have a drink of water.
I stay in budget hotels all the time and have never stayed in a dump like this. Expedia should not facilitate this place.

Hurricane detour lead us to a fun overnight

Had a last minute layover in Guadalupe due to hurricane. I speak zero french, but the hotel staff was very accommodating and willing to help us find some food and a taxi. The hotel is nice, quiet, walking distance to a couple restaurants, mcdonalds, KFC.

Das Hotel hatte von der Ausstattung ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Mein Apartment wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und war immer sauber. Super fande ich es, dass Bettwäsche und Handtücher jeden Tag erneuert wurden. Gern habe ich auch den Pool genutzt. Über die Gastronomie kann ich nichts sagen, weil ich Selbstversorger war. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist das WiFi, welches ständig ausgefallen ist und ich es fast viertelstündlich wieder neu per TV mit einem Passwort neu starten musste. Das war total nervig!!! Ich hoffe dass die Hotelleitung dieses Manko alsbald beseitigen wird. Ansonsten kann ich eine klare Empfehlung für dieses Hotel aussprechen.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang. Es war nur ein Stopover für eine Nacht aber das Zimmer war süß eingerichtet und die Qualifikation entsprechend. Auch der Checkout war super freundlich und schnell,

Ce n'est pas notre premier séjour à la Maison Créole et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. L’accueil est chaleureux, la chambre familiale spacieuse.
Seul bémol, 3 € la location de serviette pour la piscine c'est très limite.

Si vous y allez pour le travail et que vous voulez être prêt de la zone commerciale c’est acceptable, si vous voulez y passer 2 semaines de vacances Ce n’est sans doute pas le meilleur endroit de Gosier.
La chambre côté jardin?? Vue sur de la terre retournée. Peu de lumière. Petites chambres.
Par contre Personnel souriant et disponible.

Établissement joli propre et très calme le cadre est magnifique. Le personnel est tres accueillants. Je conseille fortement de prendre la formule avec petit déjeuner il est copieux tres varié. Le seul petit reproche a faire c est le nettoyage des chambres à l eau de javel qui laisse une odeur désagréable. Établissement que je recommande fortement.

Bara en natt.

Vi var bara på genomresa så vi stannade bara en natt. Trevlig personal. Väldigt mycket med ljud från djur på natten och en tupp som gal kl 04 och framåt. Hade inte kunnat bo här en längre tid. Lite för små gardiner så alla som gick förbi i gången utanför kunde se in i rummet.
Ok badrum och hyfsat fräscht men några myror hade letat sig in så inga väskor på golvet.
En del fåglar som flög omkring vid frukosten och satt på brödlådor och drack från juicebehållarna.

Habe dieses Hotel als letzte Übernachtung vor dem Heimflug gebucht. Ich würde es als als Motel bezeichnen, nichtz als Hotel. Alles schon etwas älter aber sauber und dem Zweck angemessen. Mehrere Tage würde ich aber eher nicht bleiben.

bon rapport qualité prix dans un style créole

hôtel d'un bon rapport qualité prix situé à l'entrée du Gosier, simple mais convivial, entouré d'un très joli jardin. chambre simple, propre et fonctionnelle. seul bémol le WIFI qui ne sert qu'à lire ses mails. débit trop bas pour faire autre chose. on peut se rendre à la plage à pied.
personnel très courtois et prévenant . petit soucis de bruit avec des ados dans la piscine , le réceptionniste est immédiatement venu à ma demande leur dire de se calmer sous peine de les faire sortir de la piscine. j'ai apprécié et les jeunes ont cessé
j'ai pu également rendre ma chambre plus tard mon vol étant en fin d'après midi j'ai aussi apprécié !

Points à améliorer: le restaurant était fermé tout le week-end et la chambre avait de petits défauts (traces de moisissure sur les joints dans la douche, poussière sur certains meubles, insonorisation...)

Très beau environnement, très agréable et reposant

J'ai passé une nuit très agréable, franchement je reviendrai, au niveau de la pension c'est génial aussi je ne regrette pas mon séjour, il était juste parfait et je le conseil à tout le monde. Merci l'hôtel la maison creole pour cette nuit.

Hotel bien situé

Après plusieurs séjours à la maison’ creole, mon expérience est toujoIls aussi bonne.
Par contre petit bémol pour la pension complète : le petit déjeuner est toujours aussi excellent mais le repas du soir est à améliorer. En effet, le service est très long mailgre le peu de client le soir ou j’ai dîné et les plats arrivaient froids.
Le personnel est toujours aussi sympa et chaleureux

Personnel accueillant, hôtel propre et confortable, doté de piscine et de jardin mais relevant plus d'un 2 étoiles que d'un 3 étoiles au vue du niveau des équipements
