I was a little disappointed ☹️ with the whole stay. I expected a better accommodation and being a member of the Big 4 group expected my discount and it wasn’t until I checked out that I was told because I had booked through your group I didn’t qualify.

Stayed in a 2 bed villa. It was so clean and new. Well equipped and perfect for the family. Well decorated too. The small resort has a couple of waterslides heated to 25 degrees and a jumping pad, so the kids were entertained even in winter. Lovely staff too.

Was a little disappointed in our stay. The lady was friendly on arrival😄, The hut we stayed in looked much bigger in the photos I’m sure the one I selected when booking wasn’t the one we got, so I’m not sure what happened there. Sleeping was so uncomfortable the bed was hard as a Rock and when you turned over you almost rolled out 😢 being a family room with a toddler (which was stated in the booking) i thought there would have been water and a microwave available to heat bottles up but had to walk up to the camp kitchen luckily wasn’t far. A little fan heater if it got cold. Also had to make the beds with linen provided after a long drive to get there certainly didn’t feel like doing that. For the price we forked out it wasn’t worth It at all unfortunately.

Fantastic location, nice small sized park, quiet and felt safe. Receptionist was lovely and helpful. Would recommend. We stayed in a Beach Hut, opens out to beach reserve so it is a nice spot to sit outside on the balcony.

WiFi is terrible and unusable most of the time. You could solve the parks problem with less than 5 grand so I was disappointed. Had nothing to do at night during the cold winter.

Price too high, cabin had no facilities such as a sink and running water. Toilet and shower located 100 metres from cabin, Bed was very soft and I ended up with a very painful back! Inadequate heating for a cold night! I will not be staying their again

Excellent. Have now stayed on 4 occasions over past 3 years. Kids love the waterslides. Is the highlight for them. I like the peacefulness and more \"remote\" location compared to other parks that are busy and noisier.

The bathing box is basic accomodation, but it is was clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location. The hosts were happy to accomodate our late arrival. The park is in great condition. The shower/toilet block was very clean. There is an indoor games room. Would highly recommend a stay here. Ours was a short term stay but we wish it was longer.

We booked and expected a holiday park. Ended up being a retirement village.
There are some cabins there that look good. Great atmosphere and great for families close to facilities etc.
However, be careful what you book. Some cabins are in the permanent resident section. A huge hike away from any family activities or atmosphere you would expect from a holiday park.
Within an hour of arrival my whole family wanted to leave. Withe the price we paid, we felt cheated.
I couldn’t get any other accommodation and was too tired to drive any further.
I think I aged 10 years in 2 nights we stayed here.
Also, a bit random… there was an open sewer waste pipe in the pantry. Luckily it was loosely covered with Cling Wrap!!!
The good news was that when I approached management they understood that it wasn’t acceptable and offered me a 20% discount on our next stay!! Can’t wait!!!

The cabin was nicer than expected, clean modern and comfortable. My daughter also had a ball with her daddy on the slides and in the pool and we enjoyed having the beach so close by. We will definitely be back and will be sure to stay longer!

Somewhere close for a funeral service
We had to go to a funeral which was held at the Nambucca Surf Club. This place was very clean, neat and comfortable and close to where we had to go. We would all stay there again.

We stayed in the little boat hut for 1 night. It was lovely. Fresh bedding and clean. Although I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re driving through with kids and you’ve booked it just for the waterslides and kids equipment like I did.

They were the whole reason I booked there and not at another place so I’m abit disappointed at that. We were in a cabin called a beach shack - It was down away from all the other holiday sites. felt like we were in the retirement village amongst all the permanent vans. Would have liked to have been near the pool area. The park would have been nice 30 years ago. I'm surprised Big 4 put their name to it.

OUT DATED! Our stay was terrible,the staff were rude and abrupt.The cabin was disgusting,had not been cleaned! The cabin was full of mould,the bed had sand all through it which makes me question if the bed was even changed.The bed was ridiculously hard,we were so disgusted and unsatisfied we paid to cancel the rest of the visit.I took a number of pictures to prove this.

It’s a leafy park with pretty good kids facilities with water slides and jumping pillow. The kids enjoyed a ride on the 4 wheel buggies too.
The room was ok. We stayed in a boat house. They are old but have been partially renovated. Bed was uncomfortable and the layout was awkward.
There is no mobile reception and the wifi doesn’t work unless you are out the front of the office. When connected, it is as slow as dial up from 1997....absolutely useless.

We liked the chalets that had balconies and they we’re separated from the each other to give some privacy. However the interior furniture was quite dated but generally clean!

We couldn’t fault the customer service at reception she was most professional and accommodating, she went above and beyond her duties in helping us find the right accommodation for us and also tried her best to contact us when we left items at the cabin on departure.

Whilst cabin and park were lovely, there is no way I will ever be back. At 10.15pm we wear Unfortunate enough to have 5 very inconsiderate Asian motor homes ser up camp right under our bedroom window. An hour later they were still slamming doors and disturbing everyone in the vicinity. Whilst not the parks fault, maybe they should limit their. check-in times.

We were looking for a cheap stay for the night on the long drive to Qld. The big 4 nambucca offered a 'studio' for $85 per night. The room was literally a wooden box with double wooden doors, no flyscreen door. It was very hot but the ceiling fan had rusty bearings so it was impossible to sleep with it going.
The beds were solid steel bunks with solid steel bars as the bed base, the matresses were thin foam, incredibly uncomfortable. There was no running water in the room, just a piece of ugly furniture with a kettle, 2 cups a plastic spoon and 2 plastic plates. You had to sit at picnic tables outside the room with the mozzies. In 60 years of travelling within Australia we have never felt so completely ripped off by the hosts.
All they had to do to make this stay acceptable was provide some cheap innerspring mattresses, fix the ceiling fan and put some screen doors on the box and it would have been quite a pleasant place to stay.

We stayed in a Sandbox room which although basic it served our needs. There was a double bed, and bunk bed, fridge, kettle, toaster and a small flat screen TV. You also get free WiFi included with the room. When I say the room is basic it is because it is one of several wooden chalets that look like a large garden shed. There is nothing wrong with this and the price reflects what you are getting. The gentleman on reception was brilliant and really looks like he enjoys going to work each day. The beach really is within walking distance and is a definite must.

Two bedroom was clean and comfortable. Main bedroom was quite small. Location is good for the beach but it's just a bit too far to walk into town. The (free) wi-fi was pretty dodgy and barely worked - it may have been better reception in other cabins. Good spot for families with kids including a nice pool area.
