I booked through Expedia, the internet did not work in the room, I was unable to connect with my clients for my business meeting, as a result I lost money. Later that night, we lost power in the room due to a faulty coffee maker (The entire circuit shut down). We were upgraded to a suite but the damage was already done, I lost over $1000 in business and am still waiting to be reimbursed for the cost of the room. The staff and the manager were very nice and helpful during the crisis.

We had an amazing time. The Campus Hotel was amazing. It was clean, and the staff was amazing. We loved the location and the ability to jump on the boat to Lucern. We will be back.

It’s great hotel but not worth the money. We stayed in a 4 star hotel in the area that had as good a room, better breakfast, many restaurants around for quarter of 20% of the price. It just wasn’t worth it.

Beautiful hotel with unique lakefront location. Incredible views and easy access to Lucerne and other lake locations via the ferry that stops just outside the hotel. Lovely grounds, with walking trails, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking on site. Restaurant has outdoor shaded seating with great views. Family friendly, with a relaxing, refined vibe

Nice hotel with beautiful views but for the price missing some amenities such as tea and coffee in the room. No options for dinner onsite if you didn’t want to eat in their restaurant.

Super stay with friends in the property. The lake view family room which consist of two rooms is really spacious, view is breathtaking.
You have access to a private beach with paddle and kayak. We are definitely recommending this property.

Stayed in family rooms 313/314. The trash area is right outside the windows of these rooms. Loud trucks/workers were taking the trash out at 7 am. Windows were open for a breeze since there is no AC at the hotel so you could hear everything. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast was good and the ferry pickup is right outside the hotel. The view was beautiful but there’s not much a shoreline there to sit around the lake.

Amazing modern hotel with breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne and Bürgenstock! The rooms were quite generous and well equipped incl Nespresso coffee machine and Sirocco tea. The balcony either has sea or garden view. The outdoors restaurant offers one of the most amazing views of the surrounding mountains, the private beach was super welcoming and well maintained. Would definitely come back

For this Hotel you are paying for the view, which it is really beautiful. The location is nice but you need to drive out to get to many places.

Downsides:

The rooms are not really modern, it has a 1920s feel to it. Out dated carpets with bright orange walls. The beds are two singles pushed together and the duvet is two singles, even though its supposed to be a double bed room.

The rooms are clean but some things need to be improved such as the bed duvets need ironing and are really creased. Not what you expect from a four star, the shower when arriving had water and looked like it has not been cleaned since the last guest.

There is no room service, which is not good. They leave you an apple which is nice but sometimes you wish for a more warmer welcome. This may be me comparing to over four star hotels. The coffee machine did not work, the hair dryer attachement was not the correct one for that hair dryer.

During the hot season, there is no Aircon, however they did bring a Fan on request.

We ate here one night, service was amazing. The young man was very helpful and polite. The bill was very high but food was not bad.

They charge parking £20 a night, which i thought was a joke since we paid such a high amount for the rooms. Four nights that is a lot of money.

Overall, good and bad. Most likely not the worse, but not the best either.

Great property, not alot of dining options unless you have a car. There was no AC in our room and the pillows were terrible. Very quiet safe and clean. Staff is amazing, but a lack of transportation in the evening makes it hard to go elsewhere for dinner..

Breathtaking views and soothing experience

Ome of the best hotel stays ever. With breathtaking views and amazing room, good food and in house restaurant, everything was surreal and soothing in its own way. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Would definitely visit this place again over and over.
Just one downside - if you have tight schedule then leaving the hotel back to Lucerne station might not provide best connectivity in terms of Ferry, train or even Uber. So you definitely need to plan it in advance. Apart from that, I'd highly recommend this place.

Dicke Luft -Keine Klimaanlage

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit sehr hilfsbereitem und nettem Personal direkt am See gelegen. .das einzige Manko war, dass in dem Zimmer knapp 29,5 C° laut Zimmerthermometer waren, aufgrund der fehlenden Klimaanlage. Auf Nachfrage hat die nette Dame mir mitgeteilt, dass das fast nagelneue Hotel aufgrund der Umwelt auf eine Klimaanlage verzichtet hat. Die Alternativlüftung hat natürlich nicht das Zimmer ordentlich runterkühlen können. Auch ein bereitgestellter Ventilator hilft da nicht, wenn es ständig laufen muss. Es war einfach unerträglich heiss. Umwelt schön und gut, jedoch ist der Spagat zwischen Rückschritt und Fortschritt hier ziemlich klein geraten. Wir verzichten ja auch nicht auf Kühlschränke, weil wir die Umwelt schonen wollen. Es gibt zahlreiche andere Möglichkeiten, die Klimaanlage klimaneutral betreiben zu können. Sehr schade, dafür dass das Hotel so schön ist.
Das Restaurant und die Bedienung ist fein. Das Essen wird dem Haus jedoch nicht gerecht. Das Essensmotto Italien war etwas gewollt aber nicht gekonnt. Die Nudeln waren geschmackslos und die Pizza war auch nicht wirklich besonders. Durchsxhnittkich bis sogar schlecht, was sehr schade ist. Auch hier könnte das Hotel bei den gesalzenen Preisen etwas nachbessern. Geschmäcker sind jedoch unterschiedlich.
Der Frianciacorta aber war hervorragend.

great hotel by the lake

The hotel is just by the lake with an amazing view from its restaurant and from some of the rooms. We had the lake view room which had a direct lake view. The breakfast was nice and the hotel safety measures seemed quite reassuring.

Great location, good food and service

Great location right on the lake shore, very new condition of the rooms, good breakfast and decent restaurant for dinner. Service staff at dinner were nice and professional, but breakfast staff we young and not attentive and forgot orders. Lots of construction ongoing, so check with hotel if that is a concern.

Man kann sich sehr gut erholen und sehr gut Essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Aussicht ein Traum.
Das Standard Zimmer wahr ein bisschen in die Jahre, doch der Balkon und die Seesicht macht alles weg.
