Staff was good. The room was very dusty especially in the closet and the hairdryer. The shelves inside the mirrored closet were dusty. The hairdryer filter was filled with dust that it wasn’t working until I removed the buildup from the filter then the hairdryer was working afterwards.

The rooms were nice but the bathroom needs updating. The air conditioning worked well but the bathroom could have been cleaner as there were some areas that clearly had mold in the shower. The staff were excellent and the included breakfast was very good with a large selection of hot and cold items. The location was also very good, just a 10 min walk from the main city centre with lots of restaurants and shops. There is no hotel parking. You can park overnight on the street from 7:00pm until 8:30am, however finding a spot was a challenge. There is a paid parking lot nearby but would not fit a larger multi-person van

The room was tidy and small, but perfect for our two night stay. The location was a short walk from the train station and another short walk to the downtown area and restaurants. The breakfast was very nice, but the coffee maker only made one coffee at a time, and one of the two machines were not working, this made for a long wait for coffee.

Nice hotel , very close to the station and all places of interest . I was checked in earlier - the room was ready. The staff tried to accommodate my requests-as a tea kettle in the room. My bed was comfortable, air conditioning was working well. Breakfast was modest but nice. My only negative thing- instead of a shower was a bath. I find it inconvenient climbing in.. But if in Parma, will consider to comeback.

Seen not very good reviews of this property on various platforms but was far enough to walk from the station without being in the immediate vicinity of station. We know people who live in Parma and they advised to stay clear of the station area as it is dodgy, especially at night, so this left us with little choice.
However, it was better than expected. Staff are not the warmest (except an Asian receptionist who was always friendly). Room was large and quite smart looking and in generally good condition. Even so, we had a few issues after checking in but they were resolved quickly and without fuss. Wifi and a/c worked fine. Bathroom was good with large towels and decent toiletries.
Breakfast was adequate but if you came down to eat towards the end of breakfast time there was not too much left and the few breakfast staff did nothing to replenish.
Location to town centre was good and what was particularly nice was that the road the hotel was on was lined with lime trees and the the blossoms were in bloom and the air smelt lovely.

A very pleasant hotel, conveniently located but quiet and calm. Room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection was continental but had a good variety. Minor annoyances were slamming doors in the morning and the overall temperature being quite hot, but these do not detract from a very comfortable stay overall.

Stayed at the hotel while visiting Parma. The hotel was very accessible from the train station, and a short 10 minute walk to the center of the city along a shopping street full with bakeries, area product stores, and cafes. The staff at this somewhat dated hotel was excellent and extremely friendly, and made our stay a very pleasant one. Rooms were adequate, albeit a bit dark due to the dark wooden floors and cabinetry. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, but with two exceptions: terrible coffee out of a machine and very bad juice selection. These two exceptions were perhaps the worst we had in our three-week trip to Emilia Romagna. It is a pity, considering that the people, location, and basic services of the hotel were extremely good. If they improved these details, the stay at this hotel would improve dramatically.

Our problem started when room we reserved was not available (two twin beds) and we made a mistake in the booking (inclusion of my 6 years old soon). Hotel recharged us +30€, and staff didn’t treated us right.
Cleanses of the room was great. But when we decided to suit in the bath, hydro massage pumps brought a lot of rubbish (hair from someone-else included).

We looked for a hotel with easy access by car, meaning just outside the old town so we don't have to worry about the traffic zones. We used the valet parking for EUR 15. The hotel is close to the train station but far away to be in a safer area. a few minutes walk and you are in the heart of the city center. We choose the hotel due to its newer room and it did not disappoint; clean and new. But ask for a room NOT facing the street, even though not fully booked we were assigned a room next to the street and couldn't sleep without ear plugs (light sleeper). Staff is very friendly, especially at breakfast! Breakfast was included and currently there is a buffet which you will be served from (COVID) with various cakes but also salty options. The staff were in a great mood and singing, this shows that it is a good place to work there. I would def stay there again

The hotel was disjointed in finding your way to your room. There was no parking on hand witch was strange since there was some bus tour using a lot of the rooms. The outside was not clearly marked and no place to park on a busy street. The bed was soft and small. If you have other options take them.

The worst hotel I've seen in years! Even if the rooms weren't so dirty and dilapidated, the planning would still make them uncomfortable. If you have OCD, avoid this place like the plague!
However, the worst part is the unprofessional and rude service. For example, despite the Don't disturb sign the cleaning staff kept knocking on the door since 9am. When I finally opened, they looked surprised and walked away, having no reaction to me showing them the sign hanging on the door. Then they came back knocking again.

One good thing I can say is the location, which is fairly convinient in-between the railway station and the city center.

Perfect hotel if you go to the opera

I was pleased with the hotel in general. As most hotels in Italy, the building looks old, the key, elevator, etc.
Breakfast was very poor! Room was small but nicely quiet amd dark! Had a great sleep. The hotel is walking distance to the rail station and the Opera. I begged for a late check out (since I went to the opera to work and got back pretty late) but they wanted to charge me 30 euros per hour 😂 Italy is always making business with tourists. Despite from that, I would recommend it!

This hotel is super odd and the photos do not look like the hotel. The front lobby was redone but the rooms and otherwise are still from a different era. I actually had allergy type symptoms at the hotel which could have easily been from the old carpets, furniture, walls. The hotel staff were not nice at all and we were never greeted except for when we first approached the front desk. Every time we came and went we felt like ghosts. Fitting I guess.

You could do better for the price.

This is a business hotel about 10 minutes walk to the old part of Parma. The physical plant is excellent having recently been upgraded and this includes the rooms. Typical for older hotels the rooms are on the smallish size. The choice of tv channels in English is quite limited (when we were there it was zero since BBC could not be accessed). The staff was friendly but not particularly well trained. Most of the time we were there the semicircular drive to reception was full of parked cars so we unloaded on the busy street and then worried we would get a ticket for parking illegally and blocking other cars. Off street parking is available for 15 euros which seems reasonable for a city hotel. The breakfast is served in Maxim's the hotel's restaurant and is an embarrassment for a claimed 4 star hotel. When we came down every table was bare, apart from a tablecloth and the waiter then placed a napkin and knife and fork on our table. The ambiance therefore was none existent. The coffee was self serve out of a machine dispenser and the food was basically prepackaged and simply emptied onto a plate. Maybe the cake was made in the hotel, but I'm not sure. The cold cuts were also very generic and would have been inadequate in a local bar as an aperitivo. This is particularly sad in a town renowned for its meats. Management needs to shake up the staff and improve the breakfasts to reach the same standard as the rest of the chain.

I was only in this hotel for one night but my experience was a great one. The hotel is really well maintained and the location is an excellent one.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were really helpful and despite having a cat with us during the visit, the room was in a great condition. If I will be back in Parma, I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Overpriced for room comfort and breakfast

A disappointing 5 nights spent here. air con not working, twin room small, only a wardrobe with 6 hangers for clothes for two ladies, no drawers at all. Worst thing was housekeeping walking into bathroom while I was using it and this after a previous walk in the day before by staff while I was resting in afternoon. No attempt made to announce their entry - never happened to me before in 45 years of travelling. Breakfast very hit and miss, two mornings little left on buffet and no attempt to refill it even though there was still 45 minutes left of dining time. All that said, the staff were polite and friendly and willing to help when asked.
