Room was boiling hot, temperature can't be controlled form room as it is controlled at reception. Had to leave window open all night and bugs flew in. Absolutely terrible night. Also, that hotel is on the middle of no place. There is NOTHING in the area.

Countryside views and silence. Nothing nearby or walking distance. Isolated property outside Parma near airport. Self parking free. Very nice and modern property. Good breakfast. Rooms modern and clean. White bedding. Staff excellent. However, hallway noise level can be heard through doors. If you need silence, ask for rooms in back. Price paid was fair. Would stay again.

While it is slightly outside of the town center, this is a very well-kept, clean, friendly establishment with nice beds and environs. Only a 15-min drive into historic Parma with easy access to the highway. Definitely recommended!

We wanted a hotel near motorway as an easy overnight stop. Unfortunately access to hotel from motorway was more complicated than it looked. Rooms OK, although one door could not be operated by keycard and the aircon could only be operated on/off by switch in fusebox. Dinner no more than OK, breakfast paltry. Generally average service in restaurant. On checkout, hotel's card payment system not functioning so we had to make a separate transfer later

Great hotel and very friendly staff. I would rate this hotel as one of the better hotels I have been to. Rooms were spacious and well laid out. Facilities described at the time if booking were very accurate and do meet or exceed the expectation. Only thing to note is the hotel is located next to Parma Airport, slightly away from City Center. Considering there is not much of a traffic problem in Parma, City Center is just a 10 minutes drive.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed as a family, with an 8 month old and the staff were more than accommodating. There was a wooden crib provided for free. The hotel was very clean and modern (even electronic windows in room). Hotel is right near the Parma airport (no airplanes took off or landed while we stayed - we didn’t hear any). The hotel restaurant was incredible (Parma tortellini specifically... with the 3 different types). Overall a great hotel, only downfall was that it states 2.5miles from city centre and it’s really not near anything to walk to - plan to drive to any destinations. Thank you to the staff at Hotel City Parma!

Good hotel just out of town

This modern hotel is about 2km from Parma city centre so it needs a car for access but it is very bright, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very welcoming and the young lady on duty on our arrival spoke faultless English and gave us excellent tips on where to eat in the city. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Parma. Breakfast was very good. Great value for money.

The Hotel is excellent. The location is perfect for those arring from the highways. The food @ the hotel restaurant is excellent and I would suggest you to follow the indications of the owner. Try the Parmesan local food as it's fantastic. The wines too.

Incredibly helpful staff, lovely clean rooms (all bedding was changed on a daily basis), excellent food.
We were a little worried as the hotel is right next to Parma airport, however it is not a busy airport and there was no disturbance at all.
You will need transport if you stay here, as the town is a good hour away by foot.
The hotel restaurant is not cheap, but is very good.
Overall a very nice place to stay.

Decent hotel - good value for money

I stayed here on a recent business trip during which I had to visit some companies in the surrounding areas. Location of this hotel is a bit out of the way and down a small lane in what looks like part of countryside. That being said, the rooms are nice and big and look like they're pretty new. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was a sufficient of good quality. Overall great value for money.

A surprise

I wasn't expecting much from a place to stay while in transit, but this hotel surprised me. It is a new hotel surrounded by farmland, and abundant with animal life - many local farm cats and pongas (a new experience!). The hotel restaurant was fantastic and offered many great quality local dishes. A very pleasant stay, a great surprise!

Design is outstanding, built in an old farming/industry building. Just being there was fabulous, simple to get to historic center of Parma if you've got as car. Only negative was a low-grade mattress.

We spent forever trying to find this hotel. We drove from Tuscany in rain so when we arrived in Parma we really were excited to get to the hotel. The address listed is apparently correct however we went in repeated circles trying to find it. When we finally arrived, we couldn't find anyone at reception and there was no one else at the hotel that we saw. We ended up walking down the corridors calling \"hello\" to see if anyone was there. After a little while the front desk attendant finally appeared. We mentioned the trouble in finding the hotel and he said that GPS doesn't give correct directions. The room was fine. The location is a bit awkward but doable if you have a car. Not a bad place but not a great experience.

The room are very small if you travel with children you should pick a other hotel. The stay was very pleasant. Hotel is silent. Quite poor breakfast. The rest is pretty great for the price. Recommended if you travel without childeren to south italy and like a hotel near highway for a night break.

We loved our stay here. The hotel has indoor secured parking for a fee, is very clean and well-run and the room was comfortable with modern decor. Location was great with tram into city center right across the street. Staff was very efficient and professional. Also served great breakfast. Hotel OK, Restaurant a Disaster

The hotel was a great price, but is really in the middle of nowhere. That would have been ok as the hotel was relatively clean and functional. The problem was that due to it being so far from everything, we chose to use their restaurant.

The \"restaurant\" turns out to be a tent on the lawn, served by one person with no idea about service or style. Unfortunately, the food was just as poor with my steak being just short of a Formula 1 tyre. My wife ordered melon and parma ham - sadly, they had no melon! That wouldn't have been the only disaster if we hadn't been advised that the Sicilian red was the best wine they had - no wine list should have been a warning. Poor wine, poor food, very bad service and high prices. Not a good combination for an enjoyable meal!

To cap it all, the hotel has no noise insulation and the people above us decided to move home at about 3am in the morning and play the TV on loud. For an overnighter, the hotel is not bad value, but exceptionally poorly managed and a nightmare for a restaurant.

Both are best avoided!

Actually, it was more than I expected!! Given the rural location, and Parma not being the big destination that other parts of Italy are; this hotel was excellent!! It is far from the center of Parma, but if that's not an issue, this is a great place! It's clean, modern, cheap, excellent ammenities, big comfy bed, awesome shower, FREE WiFi all over the hotel (free for guests), free parking, decent free breakfast (some B&Bs I've stayed in didn't have this good of breakfast! Friendly English speaking receptionist. If you're not looking for an opulent \"Italian\" hotel in the middle of town, then I can't recommend this place enough.

Modern hotel in the countryside of Parma

This was a very modern hotel in the countryside. The breakfast that was included provided a large selection of items. The staff were professional but friendly and helpful. The hotel was near the small airport in Parma but it wasn't noisy and it was a short drive into the city. We also ate dinner 2 nights at the hotel outside in the gazebo. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the hotel. We took their brochure for a future stay at another one of their locations.

Great Hotel, a litte out of city center

The only downside to this hotel for some might be that it's about 3km from the city center. For us this was not a problem, as we had a rental car & driving into town was not a problem, nor was parking. The hotel is in a converted barn..it's awesome. Brand new, clean, modern..loved it. The included breakfast was also nice, still not your made to order omlettes/waffles, but quite nice by Italian standards. Free internet is a big plus! I would definitely stay here again & recommend it.

This hotel is perfectly pleasant if you're only staying there as a prelude to using the nearby airport. It's comfortable and clean.

However, there is absolutely nothing to do in the surrounding area, and the hotel itself doesn't have a bar.

Parma - Intimate

Stayed in Parma for 3 nights with my partner. The hotel was really good, really clean and although very close to the airport we didnt hear a thing! This maybe due to the fact that Parma is not a big airport!
Lovely weather and culturally good aswell.

To get to this hotel from the Parma Airport, DO NOT get a taxi! Its under 5 mins walking. Walk down the road to the left of the airport, follow it round and it will be on the left hand side.

We enjoyed our stay at Ora Hotels, and would stay again, however we both missed having somewhere to sit inside and/or outside the hotel, for coffee or a nightcap. Also we ate in the hotel our first night and the prices of the food were not available and in fact we didn't know the cost of our meal until we checked out. The overall cost was not extortionate in the end, but we would have preferred to be able to see the prices on the menu.

Sehr ruhige Lage in ländlicher Umgebung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich war da innerhalb der letzten 10 Jahre schon öfter und man merkt ein bisschen den Verschleiß in den Zimmern. Ist aber dennoch sehr zu empfehlen, insbesondere das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis ist sehr gut.
