We truly enjoyed our stay here. Our check-in and checkout was very easy. We came fairly late and missed breakfast. They were so kind to give us tea and some pastries before we left. We would definitely come back again thank you for being so gracious.

Could have been an outstanding place...

Was looking forward to having a hotel in a rural area and with a pool (as advertised in amenities on Hotels.com) toward the end of the longer family trip. Upon arrival learned the there is no pool; a town or a private club pool some walk away is accessible to hotel guests for a reduced fee. This was a disappointment after all the careful planning done.
The services are minimal; front desk is there until 1pm or so so plan to navigate the check in on your own - not necessarily a huge deal. Breakfast is sufficient. The room is spacious if awkward ; the extra space housed a rowing machine; other room we saw had a treadmill. A bit dated but the huge amount of dust on the headboard was very unpleasant. The building is very cool but it does not make up for the misrepresentation and lack of thought in room maintenance and setup.

Comfortable and Nice Location

When we arrived there was no staff to greet us but there were instructions for easy check in. We just made a day stop on our way to another location but for the price the hotel delivered on expectation. I would definitely stay again.

Great family room - biggest bed we've ever seen!

Beautiful location, in a lovely village.
The rooms are in an old but very well restored building, and the rooms were very well appointed.
Great, very comfortable beds, good size wardrobes and even an exercise bike in the entrance!
Only minor comments are that the shower cubicle wasn't the biggest and the breakfast had a limited (but good) selection

Our booked room was nothing like the one we chose and this hotel has no staff so it was impossible to sort out. They then lied to Expedia, and to us! In my opinion this hotel should not be listed on the Expedia website

Very nicely restored hotel in a small town surrounded by woods and parks and a golf course. Modern with a teist, confortable and super clean.
They really tried to think of everything, even with a family/game room (relax room), snack station.
Keep in mind that is is self checking - but very conveniently organised. Breakfast is well taken care of, great service and dedication. After 13:00 there is no staff.

The hotel has comfortable beds. Staff serving breakfast was very friendly. We asked ahead of time if we can store bikes. They agreed but charged 10 euros per bike a day. We learned about the charges only after checking out and saw 200 euros for parking.

It was a unique place to stay. Beds were firm. Very firm. I have never complained about a bed being too firm until now but it’s still was better than a mushy one. Room was very uniquely shaped, ceilings had to be 18 ft high! Self check in was good. Breakfast not worth the 10€. Rooms were very cold but there were space heaters in bedrooms and bathroom. Great Family Stay

It is based in a beautiful castle, in a lovely village. The hotel is very clean, with good-sized rooms and very beautiful gardens surrounding it. The kids playroom is great however the breakfast average and breakfast room is very small.

Great hotel sadly staff weren't there!

Clean and beautiful rooms. Found in a castle courtyard the setting is stunning. Beautifully designed rooms with amazing features, coffee machine and bathroom all very good.

Sadly our welcome was non existent and this really affected our stay. We arrived on a Sunday, when a huge market and festival was going on outside the hotel. We had received an email stating the time reception would be open. We planned our day around this and arrived when the reception was due to be open between 3-9pm. Sadly no one was there... Our keys were on the desk to collect, but no idea about where we could park our go for food that evening. It simply felt odd arriving and going to your room without speaking to anyone. We did find free parking but it was 300 metres away, not great with luggage. The booking said a free welcome drink... We didn't get that, but all we needed was a human being to welcome is and give us some guidance with parking and our two night stay a basic of customer service.

Staff at breakfast were ok. The first day she was very grumpy and unfriendly. The second morning the lady was more friendly but no offer of a second coffee or if we needed anything else. We don't speak much Italian... But a smile guys a long way in any language.

Cleaning was perfect... The rooms are lovely and we cannot fault that. We got room 203 which is directly above the breakfast room. Quiet for most of the day, however breakfast starts at 7am and it's noisy so don't expect to sleep in!

Loved everything about our stay. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Being a family of 6, we usually struggle to find something decent and affordable. But this was great value for money and extremely spacious. We loved it and considering coming back.

Nice hotel but a bit off the beaten path

The hotel was very clean and modern. My children loved the games in the common area. The breakfast room was quite small but the the breakfast was pretty decent. We were hoping for Parma but the hotel is a bit of a trek from there. Did not venture out into the local town so not very sure what it has to offer. If you ever have to stay in this particular area it is a very nice hotel. The staff was also very nice and welcoming.

Breakfast is ok, evening staff was outstanding, morning staff tried to charge me 30c for each printed page after I had called and agreed on 10cents. As a business traveler, I was a bit upset with their lack of flexibility and help (it was a work emergency).Other than that extremely recommended!

La chambre était impeccable, spacieuse, calme et d’une propreté irréprochable. Le lit très confortable a garanti de belles nuits reposantes. Le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et attentif au moindre détail — un vrai plaisir.
Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et délicieux, avec des produits frais et variés. Tout est fait pour que l’on se sente bien dès le matin.
Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe pour la qualité du service et l’accueil chaleureux. Je recommande sans la moindre hésitation et reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Morgenmadsrestauranten var meget lille, og vi måtte nærmest stå i kø for at få et lille-bitte bord, i et meget trangt lokale.
På Hotel.com fremgik det, at stedet havde udendørs pool, hvilket vi så frem til. Der var ikke pool på stedet.

Upon arriving at the Parma train station, I took the number 6 bus to the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near the golf course, which is easily accessible on foot. Just a stone's throw away from the hotel, you'll find a fantastic restaurant \"L'Osteria di Massimiliano Rossi\" that I strongly recommend. The Hotel is more than confortable and the staff is so nice and friendly, You will find like home.

Kind Staff, With Some Room to Improve

The staff were truly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and the self check-in process was smooth and very convenient — definitely a great feature.

That said, there were a few aspects that didn’t quite meet our expectations. The heater wasn’t working properly on the first night, switching on and off frequently, which made it a bit difficult to sleep comfortably due to both the cold and the noise.

The minibar is quite small — we couldn’t even fit more than one regular water bottle inside, so it’s something to keep in mind. The shower could have been better as well, and breakfast felt quite limited. While there was a Nespresso machine available, a proper espresso option would’ve been nice, especially in Italy.

It’s also worth noting that the parking isn’t private — it’s in a public plaza right in front of the property, so keep that in mind if you're arriving by car.

All in all, there were some lovely elements to our stay, especially the hospitality and check-in process, but a few improvements to comfort and amenities would make the experience much more enjoyable.

Rent och fint. Saknade stolar eller soffa att sitta på i rummet. Fanns bara en stol till skrivbordet. Kuddar i sängen lite hårda. Parkeringen utanför hotellet är kommunal där man bara får stå två timmar med parkeringsskiva under vissa tidpunkter. Frukost ingick och var helt ok. Fil, flingor, ägg, juice, bullar, rostat bröd och croissanter. Gott kaffe. Rummet vi bokade var inte så prisvärt för en barnfamilj.

Flotte hotellrom i et gammelt slott eller lignende. Dessverre var det ubetjent når vi kom på ettermiddagen, så det var litt tilfeldig at vi så en lapp der en konvolutt med romnøkkelen vår hang. Dette var ikke bra i forhold til at vi hadde fått melding fra hotels.com 30min tidligere om at det var åpen resepsjon frem til midnatt. Men utover det er det lite å utsette på hotellet, som var lite, men med store, flotte rom, beliggende på et vakkert sted.
