Fabulous hotel, one of the best we've stayed in. Reuben and Lorena on reception were great, we had the standard room for one night, very spacious and a very comfortable bed. A minute from Poniente beach so a great location.

A gem of a hotel in Benidorm. Food cleanliness staff you name it it was great. Stayed before and it never disappoints. Reception staff were fantastic well clued up and resolve any issues immediately. Food quality exceptional. All diners in the evening had made a real effort and looked lovely.

Away from the bedlam of the new town

We spent November Fiesta week in this hotel. Couldn’t fault the hotel from check in to check out. We had previously stayed in another RH hotel, The Canfali and hoped this one lived up to its smaller sister, whilst it didn’t quite have the same personal touches it was still a lovely hotel with friendly staff in all areas.
Cleanliness was faultless and everywhere was sanitised thoroughly, well within the covid guidelines
Definitely worth a visit and so handy for the beach and only a 5 minute stroll into the centre of Benidorm for shopping and tapas.

Excellent stay at a beautiful hotel. Went with a friend for a 3 night stay. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and plentiful. Room was great size with 2 very comfortable beds. Kept exceptionally clean. Staff were really friendly in all areas. Indoor pool and spa were a nice relaxing space. Bar was relaxing with no drunken louts. Hotel in ideal location, far enough out of main area to be relaxing but close enough to be able to access resort shops and bars. Would definitely recommend for an adult holiday. Would go back again.

The food was good and we was happy with the clean

Unfortunately my wife, 87, had a nasty accident when the bathroom stool broke and she fell heavily on her back. She has had aches and pains since then. We reported this to the manager who changed the stool and wrote a letter covering this.

A nice hotel in a good location

Well situated between the old town and the newer section of Benidorm, this hotel is perfect for our little short trip. Beach is close by and very well kept - a vast long stretch to choose from. I would definitely recommend booking there although not for the lunch nor evening meals as there is a myriad of good bars and restaurants around the hotel.

Nice hotel, very close to the beach.

The hotel was lovely and clean. They have an indoor pool that does not state you have to wear a swim hat and then have to pay 2 euros for one, the other down side is they do not open until 9.30am and I do not know anyone thats wants to swim after eating breakfast, would be nice to swim before breakfast.
The bed was hard, however I did ask reception for a mattress topper and before I had even got upstairs it was on the bed, excellent service.
Lovely undercover out at the front of the hotel, was nice to sit and chill out. Entertainment was a little disappointing, but each to their own on that one, there are enough places to seek entertainment otherwise.

The downside was it was expensive to stay at the front of the hotel with a sea view at 15.95 per person per night, over 7 nights thats expensive, you would have to sit there all day just to get your money's worth.

The other thing to look out for is when they advertise a double room, make sure you see a picture of it, as there end of the block rooms that only have two single beds, a single wardrobe and only enough room for one person, its a single room really.

Overall a lovely, food was fabulous, plenty of choice, lots of variety and plenty of fruit. They even do a packed lunch if you request before 7.30pm for the next day to replace your lunch or evening meal in the event your going out for the whole day.

Great hotel for anyone who has difficulty walking all on the flat. Food fantastic value great selection for anyone with allergies, staff very friendly. Entertainment was just ok, kids in hotel bar area too late so could get a bit noisy with kids running around. bedrooms very clean, would highly recommend this hotel. we will be back again for another holiday.

Great position for both beaches and old town.

Lovely hotel close to the beach and also close to restaurants and shops. Very family friendly my five year and one year old thoroughly enjoyed themselves. My husband and I was able to relax and enjoy our holiday. I have been to many fine hotels but this is the first time I have come across a hotel with such excellent staff service, from the front of house to the dining room staff and even the room cleaning staff were professional and extremely helpful.The food was tasty and we had a variety of choices. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I am not one to write a review but I felt that I just should because of the pleasant time our family had.

I would highly recommend a sea view room...........the sea views are stunning

Great hotel, staff lovely, room immaculate, food couldn't fault it, great location, beaches so clean €4.50 per day for sunbed, parasol the same price.
Come out of hotel turn right to pontiente beach, just lovely, peaceful and beautiful.
Turn right, go to centre ( centro) of the town then beyond that new benidorm.
I wasn't sure about going to benidorm, how wrong was I, it has something for everyone, a little gem..

Room condition could've been better with two squeaking doors, musky odor and two lights were out when we arrived and paper thin walls meant your heard every little noise and conversation of adjacent room. The pictures of the room on Expedia showed a way much nicer room.

Great Modern Hotel with an Excellent Location

We had a wonderful 5 days at Corona Del Mar. After reading reviews we decided to book a room with sea-view and we're so happy we did because the views were amazing. Upon arrival the receptionist appointed us to room 111. It was a nice corner room on 3rd floor above the restaurant. The room was nice and spacious, modern and very clean. Included was a small refrigerator and an in-room safe which costed 10 euros for our 5 day stay. There was a nice pool garden area behind the hotel that our 8 year old son really appreciated. There was also a small gym and an indoor pool spa available for free. The free wifi was super-fast.

The breakfast was very good, one of the best ones that we have had in Spain so far. And the restaurant staff were amazing, providing our son with gluten-free alternatives for breakfast and lunch when requested.

The hotel has a great location, very close to the beach, only a 10min walk to the old town of Benidorm and roughly 15-20min walk to all the action on Levante beach. There are restaurants and small supermarkets all around the hotel.

We have no complaints and will definitely recommend Corona del Mar to friends and family.

Lovely hotel perfectly placed near the beach and just a few minute walk from the shop, restaurants and bars in old Benidorm and far enough away from the rowdy night life in new Benidorm.

Found the age group at this time of year (Feb/March) is mostly senior pensioner age ...although this hotel is situated in a good location it is quite noisy with traffic from the busy road outside when sitting out on the balcony ...food was a bit repetitive and bland at times. If like ourselves out and about most days away from the hotel it is a very comfortable place to stay .

The situation of the hotel...just across the road from the prom is excellent in the quieter part of the town but only a few minutes walk to the Old Town ..... The buffet breakfast and dinner had a good choice. Plates were cleared promptly. All the staff were helpful and gave the impression that they wanted your stay to be the best it could be. the hotel car parking fees were reasonable. Although there are numerous hotels in the town we would have this as our first choice. If arriving by car be aware of the one way streets to access the hotel

Lovely hotel,staff were very helpful and accommodating. Every request was dealt with promptly and professionally. The food was amazing we ate virtually all our food in the hotel despite having booked only half board. The entertainment was of high quality and varied enough to satisfy our family of four. The little indoor pool was lovely and position from the beach and old town was perfect. We upgraded to a sea view room which was worth every penny or euro as I loved hearing the sea all night so special,can't wait to go back to this lovely hotel.

The hotel was satisafactory but the room lacked a 4 ster feel of other hotels i have stayed in. I payed extra for sea view but the room 110 had aircon units outside balcony and i feel i should not of been charged extra for this lack of pleasure. The room was more like 3 star than 4.

THE HOTEL BY THE SEA

OUR FOURTH VISIT TO THIS HOTEL AND JUST AS IMPRESSED THIS TIME. WE BOOKED A SEA VIEW ROOM BUT WERE PLACED ON THE SECOND FLOOR, WHICH, WHILST HAVING A SEA VIEW, OVERLOOKS THE ROOF OF THE BAR. A REQUEST TO MOVE TO A HIGHER FLOOR WAS MET WITH A SMILE AND AN IMMEDIATE MOVE TO THE FIFTH FLOOR - PROBABLY THE BEST VIEW IN THE HOTEL. STAFF ARE EXCELLENT, GREET YOU WITH A SMILE EVERY TIME THEY SEE YOU AND MEET ALL REQUESTS WITH AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE. FOOD IS VERY GOOD AND VERY VARIED, AND PRICES IN THE BAR, ETC. EXTREMELY REASONABLE AND ON A PAR WITH THOSE IN THE REST OF THE RESORT. THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS NOT AS GOOD AS PREVIOUSLY - A NEW ANIMATIONS MANAGER DID NOT SEEM INTERESTED AND NEVER SPOKE TO US (OR ANY OF THE OTHER GUESTS) DURING OUR STAY, AND ENTERTAINMENT OFTEN DID NOT START UNTIL 10.00 PM WITH NOT EVEN PIPED MUSIC TO DANCE TO AT OTHER TIMES. HOWEVER, MANUEL, ONE OF THE BARMEN, WAS AN ACT IN HIMSELF - OBVIOUSLY THOROUGHLY ENJOYING HIS JOB AND HIS INTERACTION WITH THE GUESTS AND KEEPING US ALL IN STITCHES WHENEVER HE WAS WORKING. HOWEVER, WOULD THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, AND WHILST WE WERE THERE, AT LEAST 50% OF GUESTS WE SPOKE TO WERE REPEAT VISITORS.

Nice hotel close to the beach

We have stayed here before two years ago and it was still as good. All staff very polite and professional making for a good stay. Good value for money. Variety of food on the buffet and reasonably priced wines which are saved for you. Recommend seaview room definately worth the extra. Easy walk to old town along the prom. Car park a plus. Great Beach front Hotel, friendly staff!!

We had never been to Benidorm before so we a little apprehensive of what we may find but we needn't have worried. We had a lovely restful break with days spent on the glorious sandy beach and evenings spent visiting the many bars and restuarants close by. The weather was just perfect and the clear blue sea was gorgeous. Old Benidorm offered some beautiful old buildings and the square was particularly stunning. Overall a very nice break that has left us rested and relaxed!!!

There are good things to say about this hotel. Its location--Excellent, in the heart of Playa Poniente. (Anyone under 40 should probably avoid Playa Poniente, by the way). The staff were on the whole friendly--regrettably the very last staff member I had contact with brought down my score in this regard. On the other hand, the food was pretty mediocre. I was on media pension, got sick of the boring food and was glad to come home and eat my own cooking. The hotel is in Spain, so the kitchen follows the Spanish practices of putting meat into everything, even the \"vegetarian\" option, and serving everything at tepid temperature. I stayed there in May, I would hate to see the buffet chaos at high season. And the beds--again Spanish style, they were hard as the floor. Supply of things like towels, shampoo etc was quite inadequate for two people. I suspect they put us into a single room! We didn't have a sea view, so all we saw (and heard) was the traffic on Jaime 1 avenue. All in all, I didn't feel this hotel provided great value for money, and I doubt they'll be seeing me again there.

We arrived latish and were given a room on the 3rd floor. My husband went out on the balcony and came in covered in building dust. We discovered that they were building on the outside of our room a new staircase. We were not told about this on our arrival, there was no mention of it on their website or on hotels.com website - obviously unaware of the situation. I rang reception and asked for another room. I was told there were no rooms available. The following morning we had loud drilling and banging and we went to reception to tell them of our dissatisfaction. We were then offered another room!! Breakfast was served in buffet style between 8 and 10 am. However, on the dot of 10am, the staff began shouting to each other and banging chairs and cutlery. This was totally unnacceptable as there were people still eating. The evening meals was served from 7 until 9pm and once again, at 9pm the staff intimidated the guests by being very loud. Also despite a decent menu, the vegetables were just slightly warm. On the positive side, the rooms were of a good size and there were English channels available. There was a small gym and an inside pool and the outside pool and pool area were nice and attractive.

This is hotel is at the quieter end of Benidorm but still really close to the Old Town and the beach. We were there in the winter months so the majority of guests were like us pensioners! We only stayed a few days as this was our first visit to Benidorm and we were really just passing through. Many of the guests though had been there for 3 or 4 weeks.

Good location average hotel

No individual air conditioning in rooms - so even in winter rooms are way too warm and it seems an effort to get them to offer fan. Lunch food much better than dinner more choice and flavour. Location right by sea is best feature of hotel otherwise pretty average hotel.

Lovely hotel overlooking the beach

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel.The food was excellent and the menu was varied to suit all tastes.The staff were very helpful and friendly.The evening entertainment was also enjoyable
It is important to let customers know that the wifi signal strength is not brilliant in the bedrooms.
The bar area has a good signal if you have to do any work.
We will be going back to the same hotel next year

Small and friendly

In an ideal sea front location and on one of the main routes in the City this relatively small hotel provides a comfort and service above expectation. Breakfast was excellent and all of the hotel staff friendly and helpful.

Comfortable overnight stay

Stayed over one night to accommodate a night out in Benidorm during our Spanish villa holiday. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the view from our beach-facing room was good - however, the view to the rear of the hotel is not as pretty. Car parking wasn't easy as the small hotel car park was full and we ended up parked in the street overnight. The hotel pool isn't the largest, but the hotel is only 150 metres from Poniente Beach. Handy for a walk into the Old Town, where we ate that night. Breakfast was buffet style, but plentiful and well cooked and served until 10.30 am. On the downside, some of the bathroom fittings were getting a little tired, but functioned well enough. Overall a decent experience, but I do prefer the facilities at Benidorm Melia at the Rincon end of Levante and both are aclassed as four star.

Clean, friendly and good location

Had a great break with my friends. We only had breakfast but it was very nice and lots of choice. Hotel very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Right on top of the beach, shops and bars. Swimming pool very good. Will be booking to go back again next year.

Great Hotel and Location

Clean, bright hotel. Very polite, friendly and approachable staff who were more than happy to help and give advise.
Spotless dining room and plenty of choice available.
Nice size indoor pool, gym and sauna. Never had a problem locating a sunbed at the outdoor pool. Reasonable bar prices for such a well kept hotel. Ideal location in Old Town, near main road, sea front and walking distance from railway. We had not mentioned that it was my birthday during our stay. The hotel picked this up from our booking information and a bottle of champagne arrive by room service on the day compliments of the management.

good for the old town

v good overall, the spa was slightly disappointing, free but changing rooms very cold and only one shower and hadnt thought to take shampoo etc so didnt bother using it. had to give 20 mins notice if wanted the sauna but as the person wasnt there for the first 10 mins then it didnt seem worth it, water in the jacuzzi was quite cold so didnt stay very long as teeth were chattering. All other things about the hotel and staff were good.

Excellent all round hotel

The location of this hotel is fantastic, a stones throw from Poniente beach and the Old Town. The staff and service were excellent and the food second to none. We checked in and went for lunch. The choice was amazing, with freshly and well cooked meat and fish, salads, paella etc but with choice for those who prefer more traditional food. There was something for everyone. We come up to Benidorm from south of Alicante for a night or two on a regaular basis.We have stayed in many of the hotels there. However I just cannot fault this hotel and will be chossing this as my hotel to stay from now on.

Lovely but not great for Kids in the winter

I have no complaints about this hotel, overall excellent service and the staff were great, food was varied and tasty. Unfortunately we chose a time of year (February) when it was 95% occupied by pensioners. And though everyone, staff and guests included, were very kind to our 4 & 6 year olds and the kids themselves had a good time it was perhaps not the best choice of hotel for them at this time of year.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel was clean and the choice of food was fantastic. The food was piping hot and they had hot plates to put your hot food on. We had a sea view room and it was lovely looking onto the beach.

The Hotel was lovely. Food excellent, so were the shows that were on in the evening after dinner.. The staff were very good and the Hotel was clean. The rooms we had on the first floor had restricted sea views and the decor was a little tired. We booked a half board package and we thought the prices were very good. The bar prices were also reasonable. We had a lovely time with our family and would certainly go there again. We would highly recommend the Hotel. The location was also very good. Close to the old town but only a short walk to lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

Wonderful hotel for all ages.

Wonderful clean hotel. Great location about 2 minutes from the poniente beach side of benidorm. Staff great, very friendly and helpful. Food great, we choose the half board option. We went between 3rd Nov and 10th Nov which is generally a quieter time out of the school holidays, but this was ok as we wanted a restful week. Overall a fantastic week spoilt only by the weather ( but it was november !! ) I would definetly stay again.
