Spacious room decorated in stylish old school Italian touches. Spacious bathroom. We slept with windows wide open and did not experience street sounds that others reported. Limited bathroom amenities, so bring your own preferred shampoos and body care. The included breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. Location was centrally located and easy access to metro teams and the Milano Centrale train station. Excellent restaurants in the neighborhood as well.

The hotel feels like a basic 3-star property. It was clean and warm enough, which made the stay comfortable. The pillows were okay but could have been better. Breakfast was very basic and disappointing, with little variety and food that didn’t feel fresh. On the positive side, the staff were polite and helpful. The location is very good, close to the train station and metro, which is very convenient for getting around Milan.

The property is not maintained the Staff was not nice to the guest, the beds and room was not cleaned daily. a request had to be made multiple times to get the room clean. When checked in to the hotel the fridge was empty and at check-out we were charged for items in the fridge that were never there. No one helped to bring the bags up to the room as we are 75 years old. there was no microwave or kettle in the room or ability to warm up good.

Can’t say anything bad, but it didn’t feel like 4-star hotel. Maybe 3 star rating would fit better. It is clean and staff is polite and friendly. However, ambiance of the hotel lobby, rooms, rooftop terrace feel and look on a cheap side. Overly decorated with gold and fake florals do not add a star, just the opposite. Breakfast was ok. Overall it’s okay for a very short stay. For a longer stay, I would definitely reconsider.

Hotel was great. Had a grand lobby. The staff were very nice and multilingual. The room was updated and large. Quiet location a bit far for walking to the sights, but there is a tram system just around the corner to take you anywhere. The hotel was very close to the main train station. The hotel breakfast was simple and delicious. I did not have a vehicle so cannot say about parking. But if I had longer of a trip to see more of the city, I’d likely opt to be closer to the attractions. Otherwise for a quick trip I would certainly stay here again. Very nice hotel

Old-world charming hotel

This hotel has a good location. It is several blocks from the Milan central station. Across the street is a mini supermarket where you can buy water or drinks. Walk two blocks to the metro station. The hotel is old-world charming. The bathroom is spacious and luxurious. The breakfast is great. I will stay here again if I come back to Milan next time.

We chose this hotel for its close proximity to Milano Centrale train station. The property is in need of maintenance and food options for breakfast were limited. Staff did not seem friendly and still have a glass barrier up around hotel reception from the COVID days - it gives the impression they want to keep their distance from guests! The hotel is surrounded by nice streets and was close to transport and restaurants.

Overall very good hotel but without coffee.

The standard was good. Cleaning and service excellent. Excellent location.

I was unlucky with the room and got a window to the back-alley (with no light). This happens sometimes.

There was no coffee, nor water heater in the room, nor no coffee in the reception. For a 4 star hotel (and combined with the service I was offered) I would expect this.

Overall a good stay though.

We have stayed here before so we were happy to return. We stayed at the beginning and end of our trip and I was impressed that they remembered us after almost two weeks. The staff who take care of breakfast are wonderful and the cappuccinos are terrific. We look forward to our next visit.

Overall, a fine hotel, with an excellent breakfast. Rooms are very clean but basic. No tissue, no cup in the bathroom, just 3 very flimsy plastic cups. Beds are very comfortable. Front desk personnel are professional but not overly friendly.

The Marconi is in the business district, which leads to lots of great restaurants and shops during the day, but it's much quieter at night. And bizarrely empty on Sunday. But, it's close to Central station, steps from the trolley and the Metro station. 5 minutes on the Republica line will land you in the center of Milan. Rooms are spare but comfortable.

Great little hotel, ideal location.

Great hotel, 10 min walk from Milano Centrale Station. We had a triple room which had lots of space, huge shower room and a street view.

Room and hotel were very clean, (including the sheets and towels being renewed every day which we didn't understand and did not know how to stop). Staff were very helpful and it was great to have a breakfast included in the price.

Plenty eating options, transport options and selection of essential shops close by.

Even though we arrived early- 12:30 pm- our room wasn’t ready. Ok. I understand. But until 3:15 when we are told that check-in is at 3 pm, my husband witnessed a minimum of 5 other couples check into their rooms.

There was trash on the tables in the lobby. After we came back down later that evening, the same trash still there.

It would be great if the hotel had a box of Kleenex in the rooms.

The staff were super friendly and we loved the room. Unfortunately we were only in Milan for one night, we would have loved to stay longer. The room was very large, bed very comfortable, updated bathroom, huge shower. Add to this that it’s a short walk to the train station and a Metro stop a little over a block away and a tram line going past the hotel you have e an easy way to get out and do what you need to in Milan.

We liked it. The room was not large but they didn’t advertise it as a big one. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, we ate enough at it to keep us going until dinner. Very close to the main train station and not a far walk (maybe mile and a half?) to the Duomo. There was a wonderful diner across the street where you could get sandwiches, coffee, etc. We ate one night at a great Brazilian place down the street, but then you never know if restaurants will still be around when you write these reviews. I thought a good value for the money

I had previously stayed here and had a good experience. Not this time. We arrived at 12pm expecting to store our luggage since check in wasn’t until 3pm. The woman at the desk told me my reservation was only for one person. My husband is a black man and she would not acknowledge him in any capacity even though she had his passport and knew his name. She told us they were fully booked and could not accommodate us. I made my reservation in March, plus we were three hours early! I insisted we be given a room according to my reservation. She had a man show us the room before she would give us a key. I took it as her way of saying, “I’ll give them a room no one would want so they will leave”. We were made to leave our luggage in the lobby and escorted to look at the room. It was very small but would be ok for a night. We were escorted back down to the desk where she had our passport on the counter for us to leave. She was very bothered when I told her we would stay. She told us it would be an extra 25$ for “him” to stay only she didn’t even say him, she just gestures in his direction. We dropped our luggage in the room and left for the day. Upon returning, we discovered the air conditioner and television did not work. The towels are a dingy brown and no glasses or any other amenities were in the room. Early in the morning, we were awoken by housekeeping coming in the room without a knock. Everything about the employees here was awful! Their behavior was was abominable.

Nice hotel for a decent price

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is a little older but well kept. It is located near the central train station which is perfect for me, especially now that they have opened a big central market there that offers many different food choices. It is a 20-30 minute walk into the center of town or there are metro stops close by. My room was very clean and quiet and I appreciate the small touches like the slippers they provide for the guests. The breakfast buffet is very nice and there are drinks available from the bar in the evening. I like this hotel a lot and I will stay here again the next time I am in Milan.

Great Hotel

The hotel location is near to central station and surrounder by restaurants. The hotel room size is perfect and clean except if your room face the main road is a bit noisy. The breadfast spread is good and the waiter is friendly. Overall the staff, room, location, cleanliness snd breakfast is perfect. Will stay again.
