This was the first building built in Brasilia so that makes it extra special. It was of course designed by Oscar Niemeyer— there’s a plaque by the entrance and they also keep his “table” at the restaurant— Oscar. It’s a nice property really beautiful and social. Peacocks float around and the pool is also very large, not deep but perfect. The rooms and the hotel smell amazing— the only problem was the shower— it’s very hard to control the temperature and it’s either boiling hot or freezing cold. Nevertheless it was an amazing experience and we hope to return to Brasilia and ata at the magnificent Brasilia Palace— also, note for the hotel: more bikes would be nice

Property is Lakeside instead of in the Brasilia Hotel Zone.
Service was excellent. Beautiful breakfast buffet. Room is fine and in general clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Two issues that make it unlikely I will stay again. I felt like I needed to wear shower shoes because of the mold in the grout. And there are no convenient outlets for plugging in computer and phone.

I love this hotel - its history, its minimalism, the immense trees. It's time for some renovations though. The carpet is horrrible, the shower difficult to regulate (hot-cold). For the rest: friendly staff, quiet environment. Recommend it.

Quiet and better on the lake and grassy expanse than downtown /nothing is walkable anyway !

Brasilia Charm

Certainly a Brasilia experience. It is a gem. Located near the President's Palace the hotel is in a quiet area of the city on the lake. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now (2018, 2021, 2023) and would recommend. Staff are very friendly, almost all speak Portuguese and English. The hotel is so relaxing, the breakfast is likely the best in Brazil and the pool is lovely to sit back and relax. The hotel is convenient to get anywhere in Brasilia within 10 - 20 minutes. The bathrooms in the rooms are the only disappointment in the hotel, they don't necessarily need to be renovated but the showers need new calking and replace the shower heads.

Good historic hotel. Designed by Oscar Nimeyer. The first one in Brasilia. Architecture and details from 1960s. Renovated about 10 years ago. Good and comfortable stay. Bear in mind there is almost nothing in the area. No convenience stores, no small businesses, the area is generally not walkable. There are presidential palace, art museum, 5 star hotel and a condominium nearby. Good hotel for one night stay to get the sense of architectural history. Staff members are good. Good price/quality/history ratio. Thanks.

Architectural gem

So awesome to stay in this architectural gem! Loved the furniture and the details. Gym was not great--elliptical was broken, no TV remote, weights were not set up, and no water. Room was fine. The room service people were very friendly and nice. Front desk was helpful and breakfast was very good. I would recommend this place.

Step back in time to 1960s Brasília

Delightful retro 1960s style hotel, beautifully renovated and very characterful. The very first hotel to be built in Brasília, according to the plans of the celebrated modernist architect Oscar Niemeyer. The only inconveniences are the location (it is quite far from the central Eixo Monumental), and the fact that the restaurant is closed on Sundays: there is no bar either, so nowhere to get a bite to eat on the premises.

Modernist charm

The hotel, a project by the renowned Brazilian modernist architect Niemeyer, has a lot of charm and elegance. The grounds are very beautiful and spacious, allowing beautiful views of the famous Brasilia´s sky.
I was treated with courtesy and felt very safe about cleanliness and COVID protocols. Very happy to see the receptionist waring a N95 mask at checkin.
The breakfast is in a open place, with is the safer option as well.

The Brasilia Palace Hotel is a monument to the construction of Brasilia and the incredible work by the \"candangos\" who came here from all over Brasil. The hotel has been fully renovated. The facilities are comfortable but not luxurious, which fits well with its historical theme.

The restaurant Oscar is excellent and certainly a hidden jewel. Don't miss having dinner while listening to live music.

The staff is courteous and always ready to help.

Comfy stay in a historic hotel

I’m glad we stayed at the Brasilia Palace to go back in time and relive the greatest days of this historic place. Well located, very quiet, spacious and modern. There are two massive rubber trees that will impress anyone. We went for a nice ride along the lake and President’s House on the hotels provided bicycles.

Hotel excelente para quem quer viver Brasília e a arquitetura de Oscar Niemeyer. O hotel faz parte da história da cidade, tem uma arquitetura modernista linda e uma vista espetacular para o Lago Paranoá. A localização é ótima e as refeições no Restaurante Oscar facilitam a vida, principalmente no serviço de quarto. Quando voltar à Brasília, me hospedarei novamente nesse hotel, recomendo!

Agua do banheiro sem pressão! Ja me hospedo a anos e a mesma reclamação de sempre e eles nao tem interesse e colocar um pressurizador na encanação. Para acertar a temperatura do banho precisa de muita paciência. O vaso demora muito tempo para encher a caixa acoplada por conta disso. O portao que da acesso ao pier do Royal sempre fechado e quando a gente pede para abrir eles mandam a gente resolver com o pessoal do royal sendo que não somos hospedes do royal. A cama como sempre perfeita, atendimento da recepção perfeiro, cheiro do hotel perfeito. Cafe da manha top unica coisa que nao repoe o bolo de rolo acabou ja era chegue cedo. Restaurante anoite é muito top podem ir. Se nao resolverem a agua juro que nao voltarei é irritante tomar banho ai.

A gente chega ao hotel com uma diária de mais de mil reais sem um mimo de boas vindas, um cartão da gerência, nada. Por ser uma reserva para a noite de reveillon, poderiam ter algo amigável, gentil por assim dizer. O quarto é espaçoso e possui uma cama confortável. Ar condicionado com refrigeração deficiente. O box do banheiro, tem tanto limo que me pergunto se está sendo limpo de fato. Inadmissível um hotel dessa categoria com esse tipo de entrega. A tarde do dia da chegada pedimos um misto quente no quarto que demorou cerca de 40 minutos oara chegar. Foi entregue sem talheres nem guardanapo, além de frio e com batatas fritas também frias e murchas. Nesta manhã ao chegarmos na piscina, não havia mais cadeiras disponíveis. Em toda a área da piscina tem apenas 5 ombrelones, o que demonstra um problema de dimensionamento e hospitalidade. Já haviamos nos hisoedado aqui antes, mas de fato não vale a pena insistir. Falta capricho, treinamento de hospitalidade e interesse no cliente.

Café da manhã maravilhoso, equipe muito solícita e atenciosa, assim como do próprio hotel. Na chegada, não fomos auxiliados com as malas, sentimos falta disso, estávamos com muitas coisas em mãos. O quarto é muito confortável, bem equipado e limpo. O ar condicionado vazou água algumas vezes e precisamos desligar, e o Wi-Fi falhou ou caiu várias vezes. No mais, a estrutura do hotel é muito boa, atendimento muito bom.

O hotel é muito bem cuidado, bonito e confortável. A cozinha do restaurante é não boa, exceto o café da manhã que é bom. Vinhos caros e servidos em taças baratas.

De todos hotéis que aprecio ficar em
Brasília em beleza, tranquilidade, comida magnífica, piscina com sauna espetacular, paz com aquela árvore milenar. Todos quartos dão vista para melhor vista a árvore. Já fui no dito 05 estrelas. Opto mil vezes e acho que incomodo, sempre que tenho um tempo passo uns dias desfrutando q paz e harmonia com a natureza!!! Parabéns

HOTEL EXCELENTE E CAFÉ DA MANHÃ EXCEPCIONAL !!

Hotel muito bom! Só o aparelho de ar condicionado que deixou um pouco a desejar. Acho que está precisando de manutenção, pois esfriou pouco. Mas o hotel é excelente! Vale a pena se hospedar para conhecer um pouco mais sobre Brasilia. No local tem muitas fotos antigas da cidade e alguns móveis da época do JK. O café da manhã é EXCEPCIONAL !!
