On arrival there was road works outside the hotel which we were unaware of.
I had messaged to ask where to park but got no answer. The parking is payable across the road and behind some houses.
The hotel building is very old and the bar area is quite nice. The two young lads on the bar were very nice and friendly.
The room we had was in need of decoration and updating, not in good shape. We had drinking facilities provided but I’d advise take your own as the ones given were to certain tastes. The bed was quite comfortable.
On the last evening we went downstairs to get a drink etc and the place was all in darkness! Bar closed hotel closed no one at all around!! We were very peed off to say the least, I needed a coffee to take tablets but nothing and no one to ask! We decided there and then to leave, no bar no atmosphere no one around, we felt completely alone with no one in case of emergency. We packed up and left.
