The condition of the room was substandard put decoration toilet fittings Lowes toilet C Lowes mostly basically all worn out needs updating not worth £150 a night parking facilities. A nightmare spent two hours on the morning of arrival looking for parking will not go again.

This hotel is amazing. We stayed in Room 3 and enjoyed a fantastic sea view. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. We absolutely loved our stay.

The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our visit. However, the breakfast service was a little disappointing. We stayed for two nights, and on both mornings we were told that they had run out of vegan sausages. The breakfast staff were not particularly helpful in addressing the issue.
They charged £10 x day for parking, the space is very tight.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel, but there is room for improvement in the breakfast service, especially for guests with dietary requirements.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance of the pier, tram, and beach. Limited parking is also available, which is a useful bonus.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was acceptable, although the selection was quite limited and the dining area felt small.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness and condition of the hotel were disappointing. There was visible mould in areas beyond just the bathroom, and the bathroom itself did not feel properly clean, with dirty walls and a shower drain that seemed partly clogged. There was also no hair dryer in the room.

Overall, while the location and staff were positives, the hotel felt dated and in need of refurbishment. The cleanliness issues, especially the mould and bathroom condition, really let the stay down.

This hotel has hugely declined in the last year, I wouldn’t stay again sadly. Shabby rooms and exterior, poor breakfast, unprofessional staff. It has lost its charm and warmth. Very sad to see as frequent repeat guests.

First the positives - in very good position for the pier and beach, pubs & restaurants. Onsite parking for £10. Nicely decorated, a bar and small seating area out the front. Excellent breakfast cooked to order.
Now for the negatives - the hotel is extremely hard to contact to pre book parking although eventually this was done, then there was confusion over my booking for beds for 2 adults & 1 child which was eventually sorted on the day of arrival not ideal and stressful. The fire alarm went off at 11.30pm due to thunderstorm, it stopped after a few minutes but the emergency light to the fire exit stayed on in our room for some time. They could definitely do with more reception staff, the staff were very friendly an apologetic for the confusion with our booking. I doubt whether I would stay here again.

I was impressed as soon as I approached reception arrived at busy time but was welcomed quickly and parking permit issued immediately. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable especially the bed we had a lovely view of the beach from our room aswell. Breakfast was unbelievable its the best I have had in an hotel everything is freshly cooked as you order. You will be happy with the staff as they are all smart polite and so friendly and helpful especially Alex the receptionist he can't do enough for you. Final note of all the above we booked for next year before we left for home.

Room was small but clean .The view was the best thing about our stay we could see the sea front there was a busy road running by but it was entertaining to people watch and see cars trying to find car parking spaces.It is an old Victorian building so could be a bit noisy at times especially in the evening you could hear people outside

We had such a lovely stay at this Hotel. The sea view from our room was absolutely amazing — waking up right in front of the pier made the whole trip feel extra special. The location is perfect, with everything just a short walk away.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay and went above and beyond to help us. Parking was full when we arrived, but one of the staff kindly offered us his own parking space, which we truly appreciated. That level of kindness and customer service made a big difference.

Breakfast was delicious and everything cooked well. Honestly, I cannot fault our stay at all. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already wanting to come back. Highly recommend!

Nice sized room with a sea view (room 10) and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and despite being opposite the pier, the room was nice and quiet throughout the night. The shower was powerful enough and nice and hot. The breakfast was excellent - a great choice of Continental items and a nice hot breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful and service at breakfast was very quick. Would definitely stay here again.

Room (junior double) was ok if a bit rough around the edges, and could do with a refresh though we had a lovely sea view. Good job we are on the smaller side as the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze.
Didn't use any facilities of the hotel apart from the breakfast room, and have to say what a good breakfast it was - we didn't need to eat again until the evening!
Hotel is well placed for Llandudno Town, pier and the Great Orme. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and we would consider staying here again.

More than happy from reception to room bed was really comfortable and clean not disappointed at all , superb location directly opposite the pier and the welsh breakfast is one of the best ive had at any hotel , only possible issue i can think of is there is no lift , we where on the top floor and there was six flights of stairs to over come not brilliant if youve had a couple of drinks if you know what I mean 😀 overall 9.5 out of 10

Views from our room no6 were excellent. Room was very clean but needed freshening up. Bathroom sink would not stay full as plug needed sorting and we thought the sink was too big for the space in the room. I reported that the television sound was also defective and needed sorting.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and always very pleasant. Great shopping in the town just round the corner.
We thought the breakfast was excellent and the service was also great. We would recommend the hotel to our friends and family but would say it does need a little work here and there.

This hotel was in an ideal position for all the local amenities and attractions. The pier is 50yds away, the shops started approximately the same distance away with the Orme 'just round the corner.'
The rooms were spacious and modern. The staff were very friendly, polite and extremely helpful.
The only downside to this hotel is the parking. There is limited parking around the back of the hotel (at £10 per day) or you can take your chance at the roadside In front of the hotel. The hotel gives you a permit to park for free but the spaces are not reserved so once you move your car, you take pot luck on whether there is a space for you when you come back.
Overall though, Ok can highly recommend this hotel.

The bedroom window was open when we walked in (it was near freezing outside) and in fact the window wouldn’t close! There was secondary glazing which we put down so helped but there was NO heating on, not a warm welcome!
I told the young man on the desk and he said the heating doesn’t come on until 5pm, it was around 2.40!!!

The bathroom was small… tiny and in fact there was no way my husband could have a shower!!

There was damp on the ceiling, we both have lung conditions so wasn’t happy about that.

The hotel also advertises parking for a fee. I sent two messages to the hotel over a few weeks asking how to book the parking. I had no response at all so I assumed this was sorted on arrival. No, there was no parking left when we arrived… not good at all!

The breakfast was good but tbh, for the money we paid it was very bad value and we will not return!!!

Generally speaking I was very impressed with the Lawton & Lauriston Court Hotel. All of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. A few minor points of attention to detail would change my rating from good to excellent. For example the wallpaper in our room was peeling away above the radiator, the stairs needed a vaccum and it would have been nice if the bed had been remade each day. Would these points stop me from staying there again? Certainly not, and I would recommed to anyone.

We had room 11 red and it was spotless, kingsize bed which was great large shower and plenty of room in the bathroom and bedroom. Would definitely stay again. Issues with the rooms include, holes in the wall, stained curtains, no working heating, Wifi doesnt reach the top floor properly so it stops working every 10 minutes or so, cracking/ peeling pain on the wall and a HUGE issue is the illegal fire exit which allows anyone access to our room as the fire escape goes through our hotel room. The breakfast was also served cold as if it was pre-made and reheated

The room is good enough for a group of five. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very excellent and well served. The location is good. The hotel had reserved a parking space for us. But we are allocated on the fourth floor, so we had to carry the heavy luggage. Luckily, the night staff helped us to carry it, but when we left, we had to carry the luggages ourselves. The beds are too soft for us.

Shower was small and wash basin could not be used unless door to bedroom was left open. Shower cubical vey small too i.e. very confined space and costrphobic. Pipework smelled too. Bedroom carpet exremeley dirty and smelly. Cobwebs in cubborads and general condition very poor. Door to bedroom could not be opened/closed as carpet flooring stopped it. Steep steps and no accessability in the event of fire. Smell of cooking oil in the hotel during breakfast time. Breakfast was resonable.

The hotel was very cosy, our room had everything that we needed and was nice.
I think the hotel will need a bit of redecoration soon but after reading a couple of reviews and was wondering if I had made the right choice, I was glad I had. The breakfast was gorgeous and the staff were all so helpful and bent over backwards to make you feel welcome from the moment you stepped in the door and that's what made our stay extra special, I hope their employers appreciate what good staff they have. One night stay in Llandudno a favourite place of ours. Normally do as day trip but as good weather forecast decided to stay over. Room was at the top so lots of stairs to climb but great sea view so worth it. Comfy bed and spacious room. Fairly recently renovated but headboard already been damaged which was a shame. Shower tray quite slippery so shower mat would have been better. Loved the chocolate and good old flump with our hot chocolate in the evening. Slept well and was greeted by a seagull on the windowsill in the morning!!
Breakfast was amazing so much choice and quickly served up. Really enjoyed the fried bread. Paid for parking and whilst tight it was nice to have car somewhere safe. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Definite recommend and would stay again.

Lovely stay!

Lovely stay here, all of the staff were welcoming, the rooms were nicely decorated, we had a sea view which was very nice. The breakfast was wonderful! Would definitely recommend.
