The staff was....distant. I want to give this place 5 stars, I really do...but...I can't...Little things. I requested a late checkout. This is a huge bone for me. They gave me the same BS about being completely full which was an outright lie. If that place was a third full I'd be amazed. Finally they agreed to a 1 hour extension but came to take the room 1/2 hour earlier. Then they stood there while one of the bell boys went to the room to get the key I left there guarding me like I was going to steal the f&$king key. It's wonky anyway, Not a key card like most modern places, but I had told them I left it in the room. But I was guarded like a thief until the guy came back. There were no towels at the pool and beach area. They leave them in the room but don't tell you that. The chaise lounges on the beach (which due to the fact that the place was mostly empty, were available) but were all in the shade and were incredibly heavy to move. The grounds, pool, beach are fabulous, but the rooms are basically upgraded Motel 6. And lastly, the place is incredibly far away from anything really going on in Phukett. So traveling back and forth is expensive and inconvenient. There's a nice little beach town Nai thon just down the road, but it's little. I wouldn't recommend staying there if you want to see Phukett.

The room and bathroom were spotless and well appointed. The balcony overlooked the private beach. It was so relaxing to sit and listen to the waves.

The breakfast was a mix of Western and Thai food. You could have eggs made to order and the buffet choices were plentiful.

The efficiency anf friendliness of the staff coupled with the beautiful private beach will bring me back again.

I really enjoyed the clean and comfortable facilities, and the the food in the restaurant. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very helpful and professional.

I also enjoyed having access to the private beach, however while it was clean along most of its length there was some litter and plastic waste at the far ends.

I would happily stay here again.

This place was absolutely stunning! Food, drinks awesome! Views😍😍 but the people there were OUTSTANDING! You can fell the love for the guesses. I loved it, I travelled by my own and I felt safe! I definitely will come back. I was there for my birthday and they even surprised me with a cake at the beach😍😍 I'm definitely will come back. To Patong beach is 40 mins in a motorcycle. It's not bad. This beautiful resort is a hidden gem. It has its very own stunning private white sandy long beach. This is our second stay at this resort and we didn’t want to leave. Close to the Phuket airport and next to Naithon Beach where you can shop or hire a scooter if needed. Also good market at Naithon Beach as well. Stay a minimum of three nights and treat yourself to a beachfront villa with its own pool. Very friendly staff. Beautiful pool. Good restaurant and meals. It is slightly isolated if you don’t have transport and want to get out and about but if you want a relaxing rest then this is the place.

Was a good property. Very nice potential. A few upgrades and it would be too notch. Beach front with pool excellent minus the mosquitoes. I really enjoyed the staff. Food was good. Can’t complain about free breakfast but the same everyday. I think the water was a little brown. They supply you with water and chips daily. Town right down the street $3 ride 2 minutes. Tons of reasonable restaurants. Hit up the food venders. They cook fresh fish and Thai. We’ll work it.

It has a private beach and is a small resort. Maybe up to 12 people in the Andamen sea at any given time but by ourselves at times too. Beautiful resort - a little dated but the beach, private pool and views were stunning.
Limited food selection, but food has been amazing. Breakfast is included and has a good variety. They make fresh eggs/omelets at your request.
Just north is a small town within reasonable walking distance with cute shops and restaurants. Wiwan’s restaurant was classy and had great food. There were also a couple restaurants on the beach.

This is one of the last private beach resorts remaining. The beach and sea views are what You want from a Phuket experience…Super close to the sea(you can hear the waves breaking from every room…It is Incredibly Beautiful and serene. The resort also has the largest and most Beautiful swimming pool. It’s an older resort nestled into the hills and greenery, giving a feeling of being within jungle, with stunning views. There are some wear and tear issues, but clean and beautiful. For those whining about condition …they should go stay ina Marriott or similar, and not a mountain side/sea experience. Here You pay for the sea and beach. Would definitely recommend for couples. Super romantic.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Although the resort needs some updating, we enjoyed the great breakfast, playing in the waves, and the peaceful energy of the location. It was nice to relax and just take a swim in the ocean or the pool. The beach is really nice white sand and we felt so fortunate to practically have it to ourselves. It was also nice to be able to connect to Netflix and Amazon Prime! Thank you to the wonderful staff.

The view was the only thing worthwhile here. The facility is very outdated and looks rundown. Most of the wooden structures outdoors have been infested with termites. I found a dozen dead ants in my hot chocolate one day. The private pool offers no privacy and the general area is a tourist trap. I’d recommend staying at a cheap place and traveling to the beach.

The pool and beach were amazing. A quiet isolated spot to finish our Thailand vacation. There are restaurants at Naithon Beach a 10-15 walk away. But there is no shoulder to the road there. Breakfast very good. Restaurant also good. Lots of stairs and very little cover from rain from room to restaurant/lobby. Umbrellas provided.

The pool is amazing and it's only a few steps from the private beach that is simply amazing and probably the best sand I've ever seen.
The rooms are very quaint, but clean and comfortable.
Relaxing and I would highly recommend someone staying here.

The private beach is the star of the show here!
The staff are friendly and the food (thai menu) was good but overpriced. Breakfast buffet was decent, but limited options and only from about 7-10am.

Property is quite dated, and in need of renovations. Not close to anything so you'd have to hire a taxi to get somewhere else.

There were several disappointments with this hotel. Although advertised as having airport transportation upon request, I was told that it isnt offered when I called to arrange. Not a dealbreaker, as I found private transport via Klook.

The hotel also advertises an indoor and outdoor pool, but there was only 1 outdoor pool. The pool didnt seem clean - lots of leaves and insects in the water.

Although advertised as having a convenience store, it did not exist. You can't buy things like SPF or bug repellant. The spa was also closed.

The rooms sprawl across the property, with different levels that you have to go up and down to reach your room. Keep this in mind if mobility is a concern for you.

The air conditioning in the room was not consistent and ice also fell from the unit sometimes.

Safe didn't work upon check-in and this was never fixed during my stay.

Housekeeping should keep doors closed while servicing the rooms so as to not let mosquitoes inside.

An indoor dining area would have been good - to beat the heat and escape the mosquitoes and flies for a peaceful meal.

This resort has so much potential. If they renovated it, I would come back.

Service: Overall excellent but one thing to note: the hotel wouldnt areange outside phone calls or arrange for outside taxi/transport. They would only allow their own for slightly higher cost.

Location: Perfect. No complaints, the private beach is fantastic when compared to the surrounding beaches (public).

Condition: Overall in good condition, not brand new acconmodation - dated but clean

Food: Fantastic food. Didnt eat anything bad. Bottled water daily with the room service.

We had an INCREDIBLE experience in the Andaman White Beach Resort. We were granted a free room upgrade to the Beachfront pool villa and it was by far the best accomodations we experienced in life. The beach is private and stunning, the hotel also offer canoas and beach sport equipment for free (volley, tennis, soccer, snorkeling). Food at the restaurant is quite good and in line with the prices in the nearby city. The hotel provides taxi connection and scooter rental at competitive prices. Location is remote from the main attractions in Phuket, so it's a great option if you are looking for a relaxing stay, far from the crowd but close to the airport. Highly recommended for 3-7 nights.

They make decisions for you without asking you and they do not cancel your reservation for any reason so they could keep your money. The beach is one of the nicest beaches around but with the service and tee properties issues it is not worth the extra money it takes to go to this nice beach. Yes you’re by the beach so expect other insects other than mosquitoes to feast on you. The indoor shower in our suite was messy, water went everywhere and the outdoor shower was… an outdoor shower lol. It’s an older hotel so it wasn’t my cup of tea. Granted I read reviews so I knew what to expect. It’s far away from everything but if you plan to just stay on the property than it should be fine

First let me start on the property alone. The hotel is extremely outdated. Our room door didn’t lock properly, we had dirty towels, dirty shower area, the pool was not clean. The pool had dirty towels with stains on it.

On our second to last day, money went missing from our hotel. The manager was completely useless. We went to the front desk immediately after realizing. We were told he wasn’t on the property but told us he’d call the police in the morning.

In the morning, he refused to assist us. He told us that there was nothing that would come be done. Not even a complimentary dinner or anything.

He implied that we were lying.

The pricing was very appealing but it is very low for a reason, don’t come here!!!!

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The private beach was the main highlight of the stay if you're looking for a quiet stay away from the closest town Laguna. Nothing to do at night at the hotel so make sure you have Transportation to drive 20 minutes to the main town Laguna.

This is an amazing place. It’s own private beach (with limited swimming opportunities due to tides etc) but - the most amazing helpful, pleasant and courteous staff you could find. Villas and most thoroughfares ate spotless but as the place is well shaded with lush foliage, a lot of leaves fall regularly. Could benefit from a forward thinking gardener to remove them from branches earlier and staff to remove from poolside etc a little more often. Excellent food is available and is fairly priced at time of review (May 2022). The place itself is quite remote leading to its tranquility but more busy locations are freely available with a short (15-20min) cab ride. Very much recommended.

Incredible location with isolated, private beach facing the sunset. This is a resort you go if you just want to relax and be calm. Because it is not in a town, you should have your own transportation or plan to just stay put and enjoy the pool, beach, and outdoor covered restaurant. Rooms are large and comfortable, nature is all around, and the staff is very friendly. Restaurant food is pretty good, but there are few vegetarian options (although you can ask and they can modify some dishes).

This would be an ideal place for a romantic couple, although solo you can enjoy much peace and quiet.

Gym is basic but adequate for getting some exercise.

In general the resort shows a bit of age and minor decay, but this could be due to current economic hardships. However, everything works and is clean, and the staff is great.

Fishing boats spend some time in the waters nearby, so there are occasions of noisy motors; but in general, the only sound is the ocean and the birds or cicadas during certain seasons.

Note that only the main upper restaurant was open. The other ones closer to the beach were closed, probably because of pandemic/economic reasons. Views from the main restaurant are still great though.

we stayed the week before and the week after high season started. The first visit found a beaten up beach one closed restaurant but very pleasant any way, the return found a totally changed hotel the beach was flat the new restaurant was open and very smart. Even the cheaper room we had the second time was very spacious and similar size to the beach front pool room we started with. Lovely staff, food and you have a secluded bay to enjoy. Absolutely stunning beach and wonderful facilities - we were even upgraded to a suite. It was more than we needed, but lovely and appreciated! It all felt very luxurious. Close to Nai Thon beach which has some fun knick knack shopping and delicious food. The resort restaurant was not great and quite expensive, I much preferred the local dining.

Deluxe Zimmer war sauber und hatte einen schönen Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer. Klimaanlage war sehr laut mit Geräuschen , aus der Dusche kam wenig bis kein Wasser . Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen . Die Wege sind aus Plastikpaneelen, was weniger schön war und etwas schwierig zu laufen . Der Fitnessraum ist zwar vorhanden, aber das Laufband war defekt. Das Personal war sehr nett , aber der Service war begrenzt und es war keinerlei Kooperation möglich. Die Preise im Hotel sind überteuert. Die nächsten Restaurants, die knapp 2 Kilometer entfernt sind , sind nur über die Hauptstraße erreichbar . Aktuell wird ein Teilbereich ( Restaurant ) renoviert . Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist sehr klein .

You are looking for the best beach/pool mix? This is the place. I recommend the jacuzzi room but ask for the rooms that have the jacuzzi on the pool side. Line was in the back of the room with wall views on’y. Very good for privacy though. Staff is excellent, restaurant food is good, service is really good. Rent a car still because the place is not at walkable distance from Naithon beach night life.

Check-in was a bit dodgy, they asked for a 2000 baht/night deposit, although there is no mini bar etc. (with my credit card blocked for international transfers, for security reasons, this was almost impossible) and they even seemed to not have us on file either. I printed out the wotif itinerary and they demanded a copy of it, after they also looked through my flight itenery I unfortunately had in the same folder. The locks on the rooms are a little bit clunky and had some sharp edges (be careful). Noisy construction work, which was not mentioned on wotif either, but the hotel is directly on the beach, which is nice. However, it's tucked away from everything and it's really hard to get anywhere from there, plus taxis are charging more, \"because of the good area\". Airport transfer is only available from the hotel to the airport (not as it is mentioned in Wotif/Expedia). It costs approx. 600bath.

Evening program basically does not exist….. Well, only for VIPs (once a month) the reception told us. The cleanliness was ok, but the room service people forgot to lock the door and when I walked in to get something to drink, they also didn't ask me for seeing my key, although they didn't know me. Overall, I wouldn't book this hotel again.

Lovely and quirky

Two friends and I stayed for the (rainy) weekend and had an overall pleasant experience. They're renovating so only 1 of their restaurants was open. We made spa appointments but the management cancelled them the night before telling us there wouldn't be any electricity in the spa on the day of our appointments. We walked by and heard the sound of a water vacuum so... thinking it was a leaking roof problem instead. Don't get too excited about that deep bathtub - it will take over an hour to fill and the water was not crystal clear. You need a mechanical engineering degree to lock and unlock the sliding doors to your room but once inside it is spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The front desk clerk was especially attentive; however, I don't need anyone to explain to me what a telephone is or which towel to use for my body and which one to use on my face. Food in the restaurant was good, breakfast was better than average, and the hotel staff couldn't have been more friendly. Expect quirky.

Check-in process is brief, we checked in around 1:00 am and there was 24-hour front desk service.
Room was spacious, included free water and coffee and useful items such as mosquito repellent and bygone insecticide. We stayed at room #233, located on the west end of the hotel, mid level, Superior Sea View Room. I suppose, judging by the resort's location, all rooms have ocean view, ours was nice, as expected and shown on the resort's website. We were very pleased with the view and the room in general.
The staff is extremely nice and courteous, the beach is beautiful, clean, private, quiet, the water is beautiful. There is a massage spot on the beach but we never tried it. There were always available chairs on the beach, although we visited in low season (April).
The food is not that great, we did not like the Thai dishes we tried the first night, so we wound up having pizza at the beach restaurant the last two nights, which was delicious. On the second night we ate Italian dishes and they were ok. We only tried the beach and pool-side restaurants, never tried the one by the lobby. Other than the food, everything was great at this resort. There was a loud beep in the common areas sometimes, we couldn't find out what it was, it was annoying but definitely not a deal breaker. We would come back again.

This place exceeded all expectations! Incredible pool, beach, room, staff, cocktails and food. Great for snorkelling and kayaking and all the equipment is free to use from the hotel. Quiet private beach to ourselves just round the corner from the beautiful Banana Beach. Would go back in an instant. Hidden paradise.

Relaxation and privacy guaranteed!

It is truly on oasis, and the benefit of being on what is essentially a private beach, is priceless. The rooms are very well designed and we stayed at one of the rooms with a private outdoor jacuzzi, facing the ocean, simply wow! At times Phuket can seem a bit overrun with tourism, but having this place for a landing spot at the end of the day is true relaxation.

The beach was absolutely beautiful and private. Clearest water we experienced our whole trip. Even more clear than our island beach at phi phi (because there are few or no boats going in and out, where the islands have many).

On the flip side, the room was disappointing. We had an indoor and outdoor shower. The outdoor shower had animal feces in it so was unusable. The indoor shower was sort of a contraption where you had to step deep into it and it was kind of scary. The room also didn't offer much privacy as our only entrance/exit was right on the pool deck.

The place feels more like a 3-star motel sitting on a 5-star beach. \"Resort\" is a bit of an overstatement.

Nice resort on the beach. The staff were lovely, most had fluent English and were very hard working. The walkways, beach and facilities were kept very clean and well mantained. The buildings are arranged down tge side if a slight hill so there are a lot of walkways and stairs. It was charming but could be an issue for those guests whose mobility isn't goid.

Great resort, on the beach, away from humdrum

this is a nice beach resort away from the Phuket humdrum on the west coast of Phuket island.Rooms are private, each with a view of the beach and the sea. A long pool allows for a decent swim during the rainy days or just for a dip.a number of restaurants or bar is available to suit your mood. Staff is friendly and helpful. Resort is not ultra modern but has good facilities. Good stay for us.

Bad experience from the first minute to the last one. The hotel is very old, the rooms are in a desperate need for renovation, and they need to provide basic services (hot water, good towels, good slippers) to the guests
- check-in lady was rude - i asked why she is writing down my credit card number by pen on a random paper (she said it's the rule)
- first night in room that smelled like mold (woke up with a bad headache); spent 2 hours at night killing all the mosquitoes in the room; the door could not be locked properly (you could easily open it by pulling harder)
- complained to the front desk manager (that initially refused to speak to me because, according to the front desk rep \"she does not want to speak to guests\" and got offered an upgrade to a different room where we didn't have hot water for 3 days
- asked for relocation/refund - hotel denied
- breakfast was very poor - fruit had flies on them all the time
- bad experience overall

Private beach resort

The andaman is a beautiful, quiet hideaway perfect for some quiet peaceful relaxation.
It is a little further from the main town, but this also acts as a great filter to keep out a lot of noise and other unsavoury beach goers.
Would recommend stocking up on snacks etc before arrival to avoid having to constantly eat at hotel outlets (resort tax is inevitable)

BEST Private Beach Resort

Most romantic place for couples and families.
Very clean private beach. Best service!! They help you plan all your excursions and make sure you are always comfortable and have what you need. With out becoming bothersome, most of the time you don't even notice they are there. Highly recommend! Going back next year.

Excellent hotel the staff have been trained so well excellent English and arranged our 2.15 am departure with out a problem.
We found the stairs a little hard but other than that the food was yummy ,the service excellent,the accommodation lovely though the pillows are soft but the mattress divine.
We recommend you book a private beach front pool villa so worth the extra $ we will return,also order the crushed lemon drink delicious both the Thai and Italian restaurants serve wonderful meals and look out for Alex the manager a real character all in 5 stars.

This was our third stay after a gap of 5 years. The resort has not changed significantly, perhaps a little tireder and with less opportunity for relaxing on the beach due to the legislation which requires loungers to occupy only the rear 10% of the beach. Room renovations were being undertaken and our villa with jacuzzi was clean and recently painted -the outside shower was rather dated. The food was good but one restaurant now only opens twice a week for barbecues. The other two were open nightly. The staff are lovely -very helpful and chatty. Wine prices were quite high but the only alternative was a taxi ride (100 baht each way) to Naithon where the restaurant choices were greater (but not better).

Overpriced 2-star resort

Upon arriving, we were greeted and given water. We were checked in by Soi (not sure on spelling). She wanted a lot of information that no other Hotel wanted. Not sure why. After checking in we asked about laundry service and if we could get service by either the evening or early morning. She said they could not help us. They do not believe in giving VIP service here.
After getting into the room we noticed the tub was not really clean and there was mold around the shower. After finally figuring out how to lock the door we set out to the bar area. Their drinks are outrageously priced as well as their food, not worth it. We even sat at their Italian restaurant and no one acknowledged us for 15 min! So we left. Again, for the price you pay to stay there it should have great service but it doesn't. Left with no other choice, we walked to the town which is about 15 walking minutes away to get drinks and food.
The resort beach was nice as it's a private beach to the hotel. But unless you're staying two nights or more you can't really take advantage of it. We felt the service and the cleanliness made this more of a 2-star hotel than a five star resort. The only thing we liked was the pool. But it is definitely not worth the price. We will not be back here. Other places that are better.

This resort is truly a magical, spellbinding place. Located on a gentle slope facing a secluded beach (of fine, clear sand), it is a hidden paradise that will leave unforgettable memories in all visitors. Astounding natural beauty aside (impeccably clean sea, luscious vegetation), the property is finely decorated, and its statues, lights and palm trees create an elegantly romantic atmosphere after the sun sets. Rooms are impeccably clean and spacious, with large bathrooms offering both showers and deep bathtubs. Some even include private swimming pools. Breakfast buffet is served outside, at one of the resort's terraces, and it offers both continental and local options. The splendid and intimate Thai restaurant is also highly recommended. Icing on the cake, the staff is truly welcoming and at your service, always trying their best to accommodate the guests' requests. A place to go back to!

Beautiful beach sleepy Thai style resort.

Andaman white sands is the perfect place if you are looking for a beautiful beach getaway. The beach is the most beautiful I have seen in Asia and because it is a private beach it is kept immaculately clean and only resort guests are on it. There is a small village a short 100bt drive that has a collection of nice village restaurants but the food at the andaman is very good. The resort is very Thai style and non pretentious which we love and very well maintained our room on the beach with its own pool was beautiful, would definitely go back, we loved it.
