Lovely and very obliging stuff… starting with an amazing morning breakfast, by our 1st couple of days… Meep the gorgeous egg chef knew my order, had everything ready to go as soon as she saw me.
Bow who remembered us from a previous stay was ready to help out with any issues. The daily room service was outstanding.
I would recommend a slightly better fragrance for the rooms, from time to time there was a strong sewerage smell.
I would have to say the highlight of the day was the water activity at the beach pool. As we stayed at the pool rooms, promptly at 2.30pm daily our superstar activity man “SUPERMAN” organised and led to the best water polo competition between guests. An absolute blast!!
We stayed for 17 days and were looked after 💯. Will be back for more in 2026. ❤️ Elizabeth & Boris

I chose to stay at this hotel with 2 girlfriends on my birthday and it was a great choice. The staff were amazing about making sure we had 3 separate beds, and they even decorated for my birthday and sent a small cake and handmade birthday cards!
The hotel itself is huge and beautifully landscaped, as well as well-serviced by staff driving golf carts to get guests to far away locations within the resort. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, though the wiring in the air conditioning control panel was an issue, requiring repair twice throughout our stay.
The pools are so beautiful and it was fun to walk from one end to the other. We didn't get a chance to use the beach but it also looked nice.
Breakfast was delicious with lots of different food choices. The fitness facility was also really good.
Even though the resort is far away from the main drag, I would stay here again and make use of the shuttles to get into town to take advantage of the different shops and restaurants.

Beautiful resort with private beach. This is a big resort. Our room was close to the beach but a long way from the lobby. They do have golf carts running frequently, which helps. And fortunately the breakfast restaurant, which was excellent, was close to our room. Overall a very nice resort with great amenities, especially considering the price.

If i had to describe this hotel in one sentence, I'd say: come hungry,leave happier.
Honestly, this resort is not just about the lagoon views,the endless pool, or the tropical vibes...it's also a little foodie paradise..

So if you're in phuket and thinking about where to stay let me save you the google search headache: ansgana laguna is the spot.

Overall a beautiful resort. You can definitely start to see the wear and tear in the rooms and the pools especially. Resort prices at the bars and restaurants are absurdly high considering you can get equal

A Wonderful and Magnificent Family Vacation.

I went with my family (2 uncles, cousin and her child). We were all do impressed by Angsana Laguna.The services were great especially the check-in and checkout personnel , Melly and Nam. They were professional and personable. Extremely helpful to our requests and even extended their kind assistance beyond. ❤️❤️❤️
The restaurants and their food were absolutely delicious!
We have had a fantastic time staying in Angsana Laguna. Beautiful memories and so much to talk about.

Courteous Staff. Although lot of construction happening around the resort during our stay at the resort. One day there was a power outage for maintenance but resort organised heaps of activity & presented a voucher for the inconvenience. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

We really liked our stay at the Angsana Laguna Phuket. The most amazing part was the fabulous breakfast - food was abundant and delicious. If we had to do it again, we would NOT have booked the two-bedroom townhouse. Even though it had a nice balcony, it was designed more for a family rather than two couples. The rooms were small and sparce. The \"regular\" rooms - (3364 specifically) was beautiful! Pools were nice and clean. Access to the beach and the beach chairs w/umbrellas were clean, functional and comfortable! We took the free ferry across the bay for access to a huge convenience store that sold food and alcoholic beverages. This place wasn't off the charts, but it was very, very nice and a great deal for the money. All five of us would definitely come back!

A sprawling place with nice enough gardens but takes time to get oriented. Rooms and the general decor are now dated and becoming 'rustic'. Our first room we paid for \"Seaview\", could not see the sea, aircon was very noisy and in the morning there was no hot water. Rubbish instant coffee and jug. We were upgraded and give free breakfast in compensation. Still 30% of our stay was awful. The staff were lovely and did all they could to remedy the situation but the damage was done. Bottom line what we paid and what we received in the off season was not worth it.

Having stayed at many 5 star establishments before. I was disappointed at this hotel although it brands itself as a 5 star.
1. Cleanliness can be improved at the breakfast restaurant. There were birds flying inside the restaurant and pecking at food sometimes which made me question the hygiene of the food.
2. Service was also not on par with other 5 star hotels. Things such as picking up the call by the second ring, providing more personalised service for guests were not met.
3. Condition of the hotel is slightly old but still acceptable. However, the bed is a bit too soft for my liking.
4. I was also supposed to get a complimentary room upgrade if there is availability. I found out from the receptionist that there was availability but i had to pay instead which I rejected. It was a disappointment.
Overall, if it is branded as a 4 or 4.5 star hotel, I can accept it but I was looking forward to a truly 5 star hotel stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Angsana. Joe at Front office offered impeccable service and helped elevate our stay by ensuring we were able to be located close to our family so the young kids could spend even more time together during the holiday. We didn't spend much time outside of the resort and the surrounding facilities (which are accessible by boat shuttle around the lagoon), mainly because the resort offers access to everything. During our stay we got to participate in the hotel's Songkran festivities which were education, and festive. THANK YOU to the whole team for involving the guests as you did! We really enjoyed the morning!

Service at the pool bar was fantastic and lively in the afternoons, and the kids loved the inflatable waterslide available in the main pool area. The kids club felt a little limited- it was extremely warm and humid during our stay and the indoor room at kids club has only a ball pit- but plenty of space to activate other options. our kids did quite a few of the paid activities like the pizza making/ painting etc. and loved them all. Thank you to the kids club team.

The Angsana Laguna Phuket resort is in an upscale area of Phuket. The Resort is genuinely nice, and the staff are very friendly and respectful. We stayed in a 1 Bedroom Loft overlooking the Lagoon which was very peaceful, quiet and nicely appointed. Me and my wife were on our \"Relive our youth Tour\" and Anniversary. We had time to re-connect as a couple since this was our first vacation in a long time without kids. This stay helped save our marriage. Thank You Angsana Laguna Phuket! K̄hxbkhuṇ māk! Just one more note from the Resort go North on Bang Tao Beach about 100 meters to \"Smigos\" it's a great Bar and Grill Restaurant right on the Beach with a very relaxed vibe and great food. I highly recommend it!

Our stay was disappointing. The air-conditioner in one of the two rooms we booked was frequently not working properly (not cooling). We called the engineering team twice and both times they said they fixed the issue but the warmer temperature persisted. The dining options on the property were also mediocre. We ate at the Seafood Market (they had a seafood buffet). It was very average food and not worth the price. The service also took a long time - we ordered drinks as soon as sat down and I had to track down the restaurant staff to inquire about our drinks about 10 minutes later since the drinks had not arrived.

Great position on the Lagoon and seafront. Nice beach bars close by. Plenty to do. Street market close by on a weekend.

We enjoyed our pool side location as we can dip in the pool and get back in. Downside was the walkway echoed into our bedroom so we heard almost anything going down the hallway. We also had a smoker next to us so we weren’t always able to enjoy being on our patio when he was outside smoking at the same time. The room was very spacious. Downside was we weren’t walkable to the town but the beach, pool and amenities were on point. If we were a family or wanted to stay on property all the time this would be great.

Beautiful resort! relaxing beach areas. The Thai people never disappoint. Always smiling, soft spoken, willingness to provide excellent customer service is unmatched in the hospitality industry. Since im being honest here. I should mention that the resort is showing some signs of aging. Upside is, i did see renovation signs as well. So obviously they are addressing the problems. Last thing to mention, they have a small gaming area that needs to be upgraded. Hopefully that will be addressed as well. My wife and i will be back. Can't wait

Exceptional service, spacious rooms and the staff are incredibly friendly. The hotel is in an area of supreme natural beauty, our room overlooked the lagoon (where there was plenty of fun activities - kayaking, paddle boarding etc.) and mountains behind it, we were also only a 5 min walk from a private beach. Absolutely sensational value for money, would recommend to all.

Vast hotel but well maintained . The staff was amazing and very helpful. The location is good . The beach was very dirty full of plastics( certainly because the monsoon but nobody seems to care) . Breakfast was fine ( very good coffee) . We had a huge room . Air cond was too cold .we regretted not to have a fan . We had a very good dinner at the Thai restaurant . We recommend this hotel for families or group of friends.

A highly sanitized resort. Remarkable staff who do or offer a profound number of things to assist or make your stay easier or more enjoyable.
This was my 7th stay at Angsana Laguna. I first stayed there when it was owned by Sheraton. This time I was invited to two private cocktail parties. Close family (a group of 5 also stayed in a 3 storey island duplex. I used the Angsana Spa once and Banyan Tree Spa twice for extended periods as I usually do with remarkable expertise from the highly trained girls who do the massage.
Profound thanks to Ariel Campos, acting manager of BTMA at Banyan Tree resort and his son, John Riel Campos, a recent, impressive and progressive hospitality intern at Angsana who facilitated my obtaining a charger for my Apple Mac Air which I had inadvertently left in Sydney, Australia. I needed it to support my work as a teacher in Australia and Ariel Campos drove me to Central to obtain another one at one of the IT shops. His sincere support was greatly appreciated. I would also go to the bar lounge area at Banyan Tree most afternoons and for dinner at Saffron and greatly appreciated the ambience of that part of the Banyan Tree resort with beautiful live jazz from Donna Campos and her colleagues. Profound thanks to all the Angsana staff and Banyan Tree staff with whom I came into contact and who extended support. Eternally grateful. 🙏 They are all to be commended. Diana Fraser

The location of the Angsana is excellent within the Laguna complex. The 2 bedroom villa we were allocated was most welcome. For the 4 of us to be accommodated together was a great asset while coronavirus virus lock down in place. Our outside journeys were somewhat restricted for the last 4 days so the lounge was very useful. We were upgraded to the villa due to it being our third stay. The staff throughout were exceptional once again. Thety provided fantastic service during these abnormal times. We all wish them well throughout this terrible fast spreading virus.

This is not a 5 star hotel. It is in desperate need of refurbishment, the service is awful, it is ridiculously overpriced for the quality of everything. It feels like a glorified travelodge. It was so dirty we had to move to 5 different rooms before we could find one we felt comfortable enough to sleep in for a night. We checked out 4 days early as we couldn't bear to stay any longer. Worst hotel i've ever been to and completely misleading from the photos.

It was a recommendation from a friend since we were trying to find a place kids friendly.
Great resort, lots of amenities and restaurants as well as a cool kids club.
Resorts include some water activities at the lagoon, it as its own beach with bar and pool right there as well, about 6 restaurants, transportation to town, spa and tourist information / booking.
We wish we could spend some more time but overall was a great experience

We had chosen four Laguna Loft rooms ,the rooms were nice but there was Construction work going on opposite all the rooms,which was not disclosed to us before booking.Better location same type rooms were empty there but we're not given i.e.Room no.1431 n 1432.Reasons not understood.The matter was discussed in large with the duty manager but was not fruitfull. Realities should not be kept hidden.We were charged fully,they tried to compensate upto 50% but not on a fault acceptance mode,why?A very very nice property and service was also very good.Our Luck.

Hotel environment is very good but room is so dark cannot read books . I need to read in toilet !

The resort is beautiful and the pool that sweeps around the resort is incredible - we spent hours playing around with the kids! But the people who work there are also a big part of how incredible the experience is. Smiles and hello's from EVERYONE. Beautiful hotel and wonderful service. The design of the hotel means that when the inevitable downpours come, the floors and balconies flood, making it difficult to be anywhere but inside your room.

Facilities are great, lots of stuff to do for free on the site itself or surrounding lagoons. Pools are excellent, plentiful and varied. Some tiles missing throughout although all kept very clean. Rooms are well appointed, clean and well serviced, although need a little TLC in places. Pool, cleaning and reception are all excellent; very helpful and friendly. We would visit again in a heartbeat.

We like everything about this resort. It was a wonderful place to stay, relax, and play. The staff were friendly and they catered to our every need. It is a family friendly place. The breakfast at the marketplace was also terrific. We will definitely return to Angsana on our next trip to Thailand.

Good Stay but Far from Patong

We love the resort with beach access and many swimming pools. The breakfast offers many options. The location is secluded and it costs us 800-900 Thai Bahts to go to Patong one way. I would recommend this if you intend to stay at the resort exclusively during your stay. The buildings are in general well kept with tight security. Our suite is very spacious.

The property is beautiful and clean and lovely. However, we stayed in the \"Villas\" and the villas - while on the property are very far from the beach and pools and restaurants. The hotel provides a regular bus service from the villas to the hotel, but going there with kids was always a bit of a n event - we needed to pack stuff, organize, and plan and as a result, we ended up not going to the pool or beach much.

I really did think the property was superb, but should I go back, I would insist on a room or suite that is in the main part of the resort - the ones that are in all the photos.
