No complaints for the most part but there's one thing that threatened to ruin everything. There was a bad smell in the master's bedroom that seemed to come from either the aircon or bathroom drain. We reported it, someone from maintenance visited the room, but other than that, the situation did not improve at all for the duration of our stay. We weren't even offered room air fresheners to, at the very least, mask the smell. We feel this could've been handled a little better.

This was my first time in Thailand and I fell in love instantly with the warmth of the staff, the buzz of the resort and the beautiful view. The beach was everything I needed and the hotel had everything I wanted. I am from NYC and would highlight recommend! Easy to take cars wherever, especially to Patong.

Nice property but definitely caters to families. If you want a quiet, more subdued property this is not it. Room is a good size and lots of conveniences. There was a large pool party going on and the music was so loud until 11pm that if you opened a window you could not hear your own conversation.

Very nice hotel, very safe area, resort style area has a private beach is a plus after experiencing a beach like Patong Beach trust me lol..Hotel staff is very nice I really liked D’Nee very sweet and welcoming!!! Food is very good I mean some of the best food we had so many options..The hotel room was a apartment style 2 bedroom 2 bath with loft and balcony one room has 2 twin bed and the other a king I believe it was..so much storage space..one thing I would highly recommend is if you use small washcloths to just bring your own because they use a bigger towel so it was different, luckily I always come prepared so I brought my own. But I give them a 10/10 for sure.

Excellent facilities and super convenient location for going to the beach and easy walking to main shopping areas. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel feels partly like a youth hostel and more like a 3 Star hotel. They want to be cool. The staff don´t treat you with respect.

We had to change our room and were asked to leave at noon. The new room was supposed to be ready at 3pm. This was the commitment from the reception. Meaning for us 3 hours without any room. At 3pm, the room was not ready due to high season. The reception should have known 3 hours before that it was high season. The reception staff did not see it was their failure and were very disrespectful. We asked to talk with to the hotel director. He was out of office. They were supposed to get back to us. They never did.

Breakfast feels like a very loud and hectic school canteen. You have to get you cutlery & plates yourself. The staff is supposed to clean the tables. But they mostly just look around and do nothing. They don´t seem to have any training and speak almost no English.

In Cassia too, the wardrobe in the room is far too small. We had to keep our clothes in our luggage.

The gym is very small (for 3 persons max). No towels.

On the positive side, the view on the laguna and the sea is very nice.

Staff were super friendly, everytime you walk by reception they ll all shout out - morning or something friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Room was lovely, bed was huge and comfy. The swimming pool and the whole Laguna area makes you feel like top class tourists. So convenient with restaurants beside, can go to boat Avenue for .50 baht tuk tuk organised for you or can walk only 15 mins. Great massages places outside Laguna, beach right beside. I love it so much I m planning to buy a place in Laguna.

Better than a suite

An excellent choice for longer stays. Hotel is still new and clean. I like the kitchen facilities. The 2 bathrooms have no bathtubs. Lots of space for a family. Breakfast has a large variety of food. Nice pillows and mattresses. The ceiling is thin as we could hear the loud noise of furniture being moved upstairs. The lobby should be bigger as it was rather crowded. Apart from these it is a very thoughtful setup.

Overall, the Hotel concept and room product is good. However, there seems to be some lack of standards and supervision. We arrived around 5.00pm and expected the room to be ready. After a lengthy wait, we were informed that we got upgraded to a loft room. However, it seems to be a problem with a bedside lamp. After another 5 min we were offered a beverage at the restaurant, which was nice. Once we arrived at our room 108, it was the worst positioned room of the hotel. First floor, outlook to nowhere and next to your engineering and paint shop. The room product seems good with all the gadgets. Bathroom cleanliness needs to improve. Something is growing behind the left toilet paper roll. As well dust is accumulating on the chrome. Main room television remote is not working properly. Date on the screen is 2013 or 2015, I know small details but this is where setting standards start.

Cassia has a constant (free) boat shuttle to the most gorgeous Bang Tao beach, and free tuktuk shuttle to shopping centres. The apartments have small kitchens and are modern and well equipped. The staff are just so lovely and super helpful. The buffet breakfast is really extensive and high quality. It’s just the best. We will go back as soon as we can.

Upon check in- kettle not provided. By right all rooms shld hve 2 pillows per person but we only hve 1 pillow n we call d front office n they say they will send housekeeping staff to check. Why cant they just provide us extra instead of coming up to our rm to check . According to d staff they r running full occupancy n not enough pillows for all guest

Excellent hotel with great service and super easy access to the beach, via quick ferry across the lake. Full and delicious breakfast in the mornings and plenty of yummy food options from the hotels cafe. Also, it is quite quiet in the evenings. The only issue, be it minor and out of the hotels control, was lots of noise at the private beach, due to a great deal of small children and loud guests. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again as soon as I can get back!

If you are a family of 4 please do not stay at the place. The rooms are tiny and not large enough or equipped for 4 people.

I paid a lot of money for a 2 bedroom. The bedrooms are very small.

The sofa bed was not made up for my youngest daughter and there was no bedding available. This despite me booking a room for 4 people.

Only 3 plates, glasses, knife fork spoon etc. I did ask for an extra set but they did not turn up.

The staff are grumpy and do not make you feel welcome.

We went for a drink in the evening to find half of the area sectioned off for a private function. So what was advertised on website was kit available.

If you are going to hold functions then a function room should be used and not space taken from paying guests.

The breakfast was a like a zoo. No tables and other guess using their hands, staff not bothered. A shambles.

Stayed in Thailand 11 times and this is by far the worse.

Payed a lot of money for a poorly run hotel with small rooms.

This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere calm and quieter in Phuket. There are restaurants nearby - only about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, although there is a shuttle service you can use if preferred. There was a really good night market on the Friday night, I think it’s a regular market - definitely recommend it! The hotel itself is modern and has a good vibe. The room was really clean and had good wifi, air con, and a well equipped kitchen. The pools are amazing! Breakfast buffet was really good too. Staff very friendly and helpful. The airport is only about 30 mins away, cost us just under 600 baht on Grab.

We had the misfortune to be there when a bbq was happening, sounds nice but as a vegetarian you get nothing but fries and the seafood they tried to serve was raw. Wouldn’t be so bad after all if the kitchen would still be serving but they closed it due to the ongoing bbq so we had to stay hungry. I’m generell the Place is nice wird friendly staff and an amazing pool and rooms. The bar prices for beer are also really fair.

Amazing hotel one of the best we’ve stayed in and for the price. We only stay a day as our flight was in the evening. Next time we will stay for a week instead. The one bedroom flat was clean and had all the essentials. Infinity pool was good and hotel also provide shuttle to Patong for 100 baht one way which is reasonably price and better than taking taxi. Overall one of the best budget 4 star hotel anywhere.

Staff was generally friendly & helpful. Male staff showed us around the hotel on first day & also indicated to us the location of shopping village & restaurant nearby.
Hotel could do more to support the marathon event eg. Breakfast takeaway box served at only 4am when marathon event starts at 4.30am. Suggest serve at 3.30am for marathoners. Btw when I went to collect my bfast box at 4am, the staff checked & said I did not order & I told him I specifically ordered on my first day check in & even asked the staff to confirm they have place order for me. I left for the marathon run without bfast as no time to resolve this. Wife arrange to collect bfast box later after my run started.
Birds flew into the dining area nearest doorways as well as the tables outside the dining room to eat the food on the table & some seats & tables have bird poo. Saw One guy put some food on the outside table & when he went in to get some utensils, the birds were eating his food ... my wife told a nearby staff who chased away the birds.
Suggest put 2foot long hanging streamers on the doorway that can flutter by the wind or indoor fan to scare the birds from flying in but challenge for those tables outside .... perhaps a solar powered portable device (about 4inch size) for each table that can rotate with something movable to scare the birds from going to the tables. Just a suggestion.... you guys should be able to brainstorm something better too.

The staff was great. My special thanks go to Khun Tan who received me at check in; she has done her job wonderfully with service mind, good sense of humour and more than pleasing manners. Although the check in was pretty busy that day, she impressed me a lot.

The hotel itself is in fine condition with its signature interior decoration. Our room is well-designed and functional with nice view. Anyway, the window faced against the construction site; we didnt feel bothered with it.

Only one downside was the insufficient breakfast seating but we were aware of that the hotel was 100% occupied by runners who participated in the Laguna running event and those runners ate breakfast at a certain same period; so it's understandable.

All in all, I recommend this property.

It's a nice and cozy hotel, very closed to start and finished line for Laguna Phuket Marathon, and the good one is there are slope in the walkway, so after you just finished your 42 km run you still be fine to walk on slope not stairs. Staffs are so lovely and friendly. I'm strongly recommended to stay here if you are going to join with Laguna Phuket Marathon or even your relax lazy day. I love it and definitely will go back there again

Still a pretty good choice

Laguna Phuket has always been a good choice for our annual Easter week vacations and Cassia lived up to expectations. Only downsides were the reception staff were less than welcoming and would prefer it if the driver of the ferry boat to the beach were not so rude. Other than that, Cassia, equipped with a small kitchen, a combini store next door, and transport rentals nearby would be just perfect for a small family or a group of friends.

We got upgraded to the loft room which is a nice touch by the reception staff. The room is also exceptionally functional, perfect for a group or family, and i must say the bed is super comfortable.

In terms of location, it is situation in Laguna Bangtao, which is a tat far from all the bustle in Patong (i.e. 30 mins drive). It is a bit difficult to get around without transportation means.

It is the perfect resort if you just wish to stay at the beach and not explore the other parts of the Phuket.

The property was perfect. Athough Expedia rated it 4 star, I give it a 5 star rating. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.
