The staff was so nice and for how old this hotel is they keep it up well. We had a room right by a table outside of our door which meant early in the morning, late at night, and trying to take a nap during the day you could hear people talking. For that reason I give it a 3 star. If you want a quiet place I wouldn’t consider this place. But overall it was a good stay.

Location is great, walking distance to Knott Berry Farms & less then 15min drive to Disneyland. But room was a bit out of date & lacked a good cleaning. Stains on bathroom door and water pressure wasnt there either in the shower. beds were not comfortable & cheap stiff pillows. and hallways felt dirty.

Overall it was alright. When I first got there the room was pretty clean. As I went to look closer, the bed sheets had black dirty marks & a yellow stain. Told the front about it they came to check it out and change it right away. The shower had a bit of hair around. The bathroom floor was pretty dirty it had shoe marks all over and seemed as no one had mopped for a while. The area it self wasn’t bad its close by a lot of fast food restaurants, Walmart, target so it was pretty convenient to stay there. I would say the 4 things that did bother me was the cleanliness, the housekeeping, the parking area & the door. The housekeeper would come at random times of the day not a set time for each day I was were there. The first day she came around noon she knocked once & I yelled “I’m going” she then proceeded to use the master key to get in but realized I was in there trying to change. She apologized but why try to get in after only knocking once & hearing me say I’m going… next, is the door. The door was very wobbly & it closed and locked but it wouldn’t closed all the way it looked as it was a bit broken. Now, the parking area was very hard to find a spot. It was very very limited parking spots. The first night I as rough to find a spot but eventually find one after going area for about 10-12 mins looking for one & the cleanliness could’ve been better tbh but it wasn't bad for a standard room for 4 nights pretty ok.

We're surprised to see the bedroom was nice, clean, but the bedroom door was not seal and you can hear the road noise from the street. The microwave was rusted and corroded, but the manager gave us the new one after I complaint. The heater sometimes had a very loud noise when it starts/stops. The hallway wall and the elevator were dirty, icky...we tried not to use the elevator. The office was not feeling invited, dirty and not appealing. We won't be back.

This entire hotel is so dated and run down. Possibly the most uncomfortable stay we have had in over 30 years of traveling.
The bed and pillows were worse than sleeping on the ground. The towels were like using sandpaper and most of them should have been thrown out years ago.

Facilities are old. There aren't a lot of amenities that you can take advantage of to make up for the lack of modernization, but price is cheap, it's walking distance to Knot's Berry Farm, very close to Disneyland when driving, walls are thick enough not to hear your neighbors nor be heard, and rooms are clean. Housekeeping happens every day, which is a plus, but I think you should be very mindful of the fact that housekeeping would knock one time to announce itself and then proceed to try to unlock your door, not waiting for an answer. That's a very reproachable attitude since what if you're on the shower or naked about to get in (like I was). So be mindful of that and try to lock your door with something. Overall it's a quiet area, free parking, centric location and cheap. Good & safe option if you're on a tight budget, if you want to prioritize comfort and more up-to-date amenities over cheapest, consider other options.

We had a great family trip, thankful for the staff at Best Host for accommodating our situation. Check in was great the gentleman that checked us in was friendly and continued a friendly conversation making us feel welcomed.
Our second check in was with a wonderful lady who made our room switch very easy and fast.
We like staying at this hotel often because we love how comfortable the beds are, the amount of space that is in the room and since it’s walking distance to the theme park, it’s definitely a plus!

The hotel is very old and not kept in good condition. Our room phone had no cord, the shower had mold, the toilet handle fell off, and the walls are paper thin (you hear everything). However, it has great proximity to the park and does have a fridge and microwave.

The stay overall was good. Was able to check in close to midnight with no problem minus the parking situation. It was very cramped and full. The room was clean but could use updating. The bed mattresses were inconsistent. One was very springy (like you could literally feel them) and sunken in the middle whereas the other was pretty nice and thick. I got a standard 2 Queen room. The bedding smelled like it wasn’t dried enough (yu know that weird wet dog smell). It was a bit noisy above us one of our nights but that’s not the hotel’s fault. To be clear, there is no breakfast provided so keep that in mind. IHOP was walkable so we did that. For the price and location, I can’t complain too much. Would stay again.
