If I could give this property a zero I would. I have stayed at better motel 6’s. They advertises to be clean, tidy, provide breakfast, have updated rooms, free and safe parking, and it has very little if anything to give on that list. There is a large sign hanging in the front window that says they’re not responsible for anything in your room however, I would like to point out that you’re not allowed to be in your room if they’re cleaning it which is required “per policy“ every 3 days. This is not posted anywhere, but apparently still has to be done without your presence. Convenient. So, every three days, being sick, traveling, having flight delays, and all the other things, we still had to pack and lock all of our things away so that we could have our room “cleaned” and not worry about things being stolen. The majority of the staff (outside of the front desk) speaks barely any English or does not speak any at all, they can’t communicate properly, they do not listen, they ignore the do not disturb sign, banging on our doors as early as 7 AM to check and make sure everything‘s “okay”, even though the “ do not disturb” sign was on the door and we were trying to sleep.Unfortunately, we had to extend our stay twice due to flight delays and both times they required a new $100 deposit, new keys, and a huge discussion about why they still had to come in again to “clean”. The pool was heavily chlorinated to the point you could smell it 4 floors up. Jacuzzi inoperable. Awful.

The place was a solid MEH. Room was adequate. Although it did not have a coffee maker. The tv was small and only actually worked 1 night and in order to change Channels or volume I had to be standing directly in front of the tv. Everything is mildly out dated, front desk staff seemed annoyed to have to deal with me. One of the reasons I booked was for the free continental breakfast that was discontinued the week we arrived apparently. Had I known I would have stayed somewhere else for the same cost and the breakfast included. Toilet seemed like it was going to overflow everytime I flushed it. Only 1 tiny bar of soap….. but if you’re just needing a place to rest your head it’ll do….

Rooms were clean, nice and basic, but checking I was terrible because the lady in front was sarcastic and rude. She didn’t even want to try to understand what I was saying. I made one reservation two rooms and she insisted that I made two deposits. Then she gave me my rooms separated. The breakfast was basically cereal and grab and go item. For the price I paid I expected at less the continental breakfast that was advertised not the grab and go. Probably will not book here again.

Nothing bad happened to us at this hotel. In fact, we were kind of amused with this hotel. It is really rundown. Checking in or trying to communicate with the front desk staff is difficult because they have a huge bulletproof window of some kind between you and the front desk staff where you can’t hear what they’re saying. A lot of times there are no front desk staff there. The lobby is very Spartan. There are office type chairs with torn plastic seats. The rooms are shot. I don’t even wanna talk about the linens on the bed. The bathroom is distressed. Also considering that you’re right by the super highway and the exit ramp to the super highway the rooms are noisy 24 seven. I’m not sure of that but it’s four stories of rooms and I think you have to walk upstairs to get to the fourth level. In other words, I don’t think there’s elevators to help you get your luggage up to your room on the fourth floor.

My check in was a JOKE! Because my name is Kimberly on my ID and the reservation AND my credit card says KIM, I was told they couldn't honor my stay! I have NEVER been questioned about this! They made an \"exception\" THIS TIME. There will be NO next time! The grounds had cigarette butts everywhere, the breakfast was lackluster and space was very limited. Our room was on the 3rd floor and one of the two (closest to our room) elevators was out of order. We were also at an end room within yards of the freeway, which we could hear all night.
Never staying here again! Also lots of homeless hanging around near the parking lot.

When I initially booked the stay at the Days Inn, I typed in the \"special needs\" box, that I needed a 1st floor room and close to handicapped parking. They mis-read my needs and gave me a 3rd floor room, which they told me was a handicap room. Why on earth would any hotel place a handicapped room on anything but a 1st floor? The initial person at the front desk was no help in changing my room, telling me that they had no 1st floor rooms, and if I wanted one, I would have to cancel my reservation and make another reservation. He was very firm in not wanting to help me in my situation at all. I went to my 3rd floor room via the only elevator that they had, and it was all the way across on the other side of the hotel complex from my room. It made my walk even further than it should have been. I can barely walk, and it just seemed that they added insult to injury in placing me in that 3rd floor room. I had to go back and forth 3 times to get my belongings to take to my room via this one elevator and the long walk across the whole hotel complex! It was a super nice graveyard shift person who told me that he would check on anyone leaving a first floor room that late evening/early morning, and make sure that housekeeping would ready that room for me. As it happened, I was given a first floor room right next to the handicap parking. I was happy, until the heating unit failed on my second evening. They couldn't fix or replace the bad heater, but did give me two extra blankets.

A man followed my friend back into our room from the pool and we had to ask the front desk if we can switch rooms, but they said the rooms were all full. We then let them which room the man said we was staying in and he said that room was empty. So are you full or not? The worst part is we decided to just leave because we did not feel safe, and the manager assured us we were not going to be charged for the nights we didn’t stay for. Over the next few days, we get calls from housekeeping, and I tell them we’ve checked out. They say oh right sorry. I call the manager asking why housekeeping would think we are still there, he assures us we are checked out. I check my bank account and see they have charged us for the full stay, small fees here and there, and keep the deposit. I call the booking company for a refund, and they said they cannot process this because the motel marked us as there the entire stay, and checked out on the day we intended to even though we had left and had been assured we were checked out multiple times.

It was an “okay” stay. It’s good if you need a CHEAP place to stay. The location is REALLY good. Right by shopping, freeway, and amusement parks.

The breakfast was trash. Three cereals, coffee no creamer, bread. There no toaster lol that’s all the “breakfast” offered. It’s in a really sketchy area. TONS of homeless and lord knows what. lol

The room was ok but my experience overall was uncomfortable & complicated. My 1st day checking in on Fri 1/30, their key system was down & we were told that we’d need to ask the staff to open our door, & it would be fixed til Monday. The next day Sat 1/31, I went to the desk to ask them to open my door, & the girl had attitude from the moment i walked up & she made it super complicated to enter my room. I was asking her for someone to open my room because i needed my car keys & she kept asking me for my ID to “give me a key” . I was so confused because i was told to ask them to open our door, & finally after arguing with me for over 5min, she finally says that she can have someone open my room & says the key system is “fixed now”. The whole situation was unnecessary. I definitely won’t be coming back as I do not want to be attended by someone like that again!

Days Inn by Wyndham Buena Park – Review

This is a solid, no-frills place to stay. It’s just a couple blocks from Knott’s Berry Farm and sits in a shared lot near major stores like Target, so the location is super convenient. It’s definitely more “budget motel” than “fancy hotel,” and since it’s right by the freeway, it can be a bit noisy. That said, it’s affordable, practical, and does exactly what you need it to do for a quick, cost-friendly stay.

The surrounding area does have some activity, especially at night, so it can feel a little sketchy after dark — something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with kids.

This was our second stay here. On this visit, the keypad to our room had completely died, and it took a while for staff to get it fixed and let us back in. Once resolved, everything was fine, but it was definitely an inconvenience.

sejour moyen !!! pas de menage effectué quotidiennement, j’y ai sejournée 5 jours avant d’aller a vegas et le menage c’est faite la veille de notre de depart 🤔 pas logique autant mieux attendre le jours du depart !!! et au retour de vegas on est restée 4 jours pour la fin du sejour pas de menage du tout !!! c’etait juste le petit bemol !!! Petit dej simple de 6h30 a 9h (toast, café, lait, muffin,confiture, beurre, cereal, orange si il en reste), Laundry de 9h30 a 21h sur reservation avec depot d’une piece identité, 1 ascenceur sur 2 qui fonctionne, jaccusi en travaux et piscine fermer pendant notre sejours. Pas de coffre fort dans les chambres, chambre equipé d’un frigo, wifi gratuit, TV, shampoing, gel douche, seche cheveux, petite table ronde, un fauteuil 1 place

For our 5 lb yorkie service dog for my elderly mother. I stated this to a front desk employee about our service dog prior to check in. Then I was accused by management this Filipino lady in particular, that said we had 2-3 dogs.. yet I personally called front desk to have maintenance come n check out or bathroom. He himself came in the room and met n saw our 5 lb service dog. Then also stating we are smoking in the room, with my 84 elderly mother who has health circumstances. Yes I do smoke cigarettes yet we take it outside by the parking lot. I have never experienced this ever, we are a Wyndham member as well. As I checked out. I personally went to the front desk advising we are checking out, also advised them to check the room for any damages etc.. nothing whatsoever, this is what I wanted and needed them to do.

The beds were supposed to be double queens but were definitely full beds. The phone didnt work, ask for maid service and was told it wasnt availble on Friday. The toilet barely flushed because they had the water level set too low. The tub barely drained so I had to cleared a huge hair clog from prior guests. Staff was not friendly.

I am a customer last night at Days Inn Buena Park.

We found couple of roaches at room and I complained.

They said change the room but our family members were sleep already. Instead of the offer, I asked full refund but they said the manager confirmation is needed. They didn't talk me any other solution instead of changing room. I expected get full refund.

Next day, the manager denied full refund and we fight. She was so rude and not communicable so why I send you e mail.

1. They had had management toward the health cord CA. Roach is issue is not common issue. It is dangerous issue.

2. They didn't told me changing the room is not only the solution at that time. They said it is possible to get refund with manager confirmation and I expected.

3. Next day, the manager said if I got direct reservation she could process my refund request so I contact and get solution with Expedia. Expedia said if I got confirmation with the hotel manager they could give me 100% refund but the manager denied so the company gave me 50% refund only.

It is very related with your company reputation and I will not give up make this issue right.

The lighting in the vanity area was far too dim. I couldn’t see to take off my make up or put make up on in the morning or do my hair. For these reasons we didn’t give 5 stars

homeless guy in the parking lot trying to buy a cigarette from me before i even get in the lobby. i check in but the clerk doesn't seem to understand that i've already checked in with a CC deposit on line. i receive room #309. upon opening the door i find the room is filthy. sheets/bedding on the floor. razors/tooth brushes/dirty towels all over the bathroom. i return and after a few minutes i receive room #310. 'Marie' the maid comes to check on me (yes!!) and even though the door handle is wobbly the room seems find. 6am Tuesday morning i go to get tea at the gas station and can not get into my room upon my return. the desk clerk was rude and not very helpful. accused me of lying and 'banned' me from returning to the property. 9am Tuesday i check with the desk clerk (different clerk) and he assures me they will give me clean towels. when i arrive back to the room at 7pm - same dirty towels. another trip to the desk clerk for a new set of towels.
the room it self is serviceable - what i expected. but the service and the whole experience was pretty bad. i am asking for a full refund.

It looks like a prostitute motel there was dirty blankets everything was run down old when I sat on the bed it smelled like pee and I was a livid. The second room was just okay but I still did not sleep inside those blankets I couldn't trust it and it smelled like they tried to cover up a smell with cleaning products and there's holes everywhere just not a good place to stay Expedia definitely did not rate this place properly

Customer service here is garbage. During our stay the smoke detector started beeping at 2 AM due to a low battery. I tried calling the front desk and of course the phones weren’t working, so I removed it from the wall to get some sleep. Unfortunately, I forgot to reattach it the following morning before check out. Then they gave me a call an hour or 2 after we checked out to inform me that they’re charging me $250 for a “health and safety” violation fee because of the smoke detector. I can understand charging maybe $25 to $50 at most, but $250 is just outright predatory. I shouldn’t even have to remove it from the wall to shut it off in the first place, and if anything I realistically should report them to CalOSHA for not maintaining their smoke detectors. The batteries should have never gone that low to begin with, never mind the phones that weren’t working (which they deny). Now I have to submit a charge dispute with my credit card issuer to deal with the inconvenience. Stay clear from this Day’s Inn. They will just look for any excuse to tack on any ridiculous charge that they can.

One of the worst places I have stayed in. Front check in was rude and charged my card twice and said it didn’t go through even though I showed him the transaction on my app. Then charged another card I gave him and after it went through he charged me again! The pool was broken, the breakfast was plain pieces of wheat bread and fruit loops with coffee pots empty. TV in room didn’t work. Freeway next to rooms making noise all night. Bugs in room. Then when checking out the woman refused to give my wife the receipt and I had to argue with the manager who was rude end useless to resolve anything. Don’t stay here as there are many other nice options in the area!

We stayed here for three nights and the check-in process was smooth and easy. The elevator was out of service at the time and our rooms were on the fourth floor! But not a big deal because health and fitness presented itself, so four flights of stairs we go with three little ones!

Got to our rooms and they were decent and clean. The TV in our room didn’t work, but it wasn’t a big deal because we had plans throughout the day so we weren’t gonna watch any TV, but it would’ve been nice if it was working so we could watch the local news.
Our sink was clogged and come to find out there was a leak

We didn’t get a chance to try out their breakfast.

It is right next to the freeway and I could not sleep due to the noise when I had a room on the south side. I moved to the north side and it was a little better. However the trash truck ran at 6:30 one morning and 5:30 the next. The 3rd day there was a train blasting it's horns at 3:30. One night the room next door had their TV on loud enough for me to hear as late as midnight. It's an old hotel and a little run down, but hey, it was cheap.

The room was nit cleanedcwjen we arrived. Fir tge 1st 3 night we could not sleep cause of the loud indism party music coming from the restaurant next door but they were full so we couldn't chsnge rooms. Then they charged us a per fee when we MEVER HAD A PET STAY THERE WITH US. 250 dollars plus charged us for used towels cause we cleaned up a slda spill with one if the small towels but they charged us for the big ones. Then were very rude on the phone when i asked sbout the extra chatges and lied anout hearing the animal in our room. HORRIBLE HOTEL WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN HAS HORRIBLE REVIEWS ON YELP 1 STARS ABOUT FRAUDULENT CHARGES AND BED BUGS LAW SUIT

The room itself was surprisingly nice — clean, quiet, and appears recently updated. Bed was comfortable, the bathroom looked freshly repainted (though some paint overspray was visible), and the pool area was well maintained.

The front desk experience, however, needs improvement. Staff at check-in were not very friendly, and the hotel does not offer secure luggage storage. Their only option was to leave luggage outside the glass-enclosed front desk area, and they stated they wouldn’t be responsible for it, which didn’t feel safe.

The lobby is minimal and not very welcoming, with older furniture and a hard-to-hear check-in setup behind glass.

Overall, the room quality is much better than the lobby suggests, and it’s fine for a quick stay near Knott’s or Disneyland — just be aware of the limited front-desk services.
