The mattress looked like someone had slept on it, when I was changing clothes the housekeeper came into the room and I was shocked. The toilet was dirty, it seemed like the room was not cleaned after the guests checked out. I was very disappointed staying at this motel. Cleanliness is number one for staying overnight in a motel or hotel.

the room was extremely neglected , toilet was cracked front of bowl middle down , no hot water them saying it was winter need to let it run 20 minutes and no hot water went and checked two other rooms and the same thing ,they offered to move to another room but had no hot water there either so why even move the hassel of packing up and moving to still have no hot water ,that was after DEALING WITH THE TV THAT HAD A PICTURE IN THE CORNER AND THEY COULDNT FIX SAYING IT WAS MY LAPTOP I HAD HOOKED UP UNTILL THEY BROUGHT ANOTHER TV AND WORKED FINE AS THE OTHER ONE THE REMOTE WOULDNT DO ANYTHING, all in all i WILL NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND WILLL RECOMEND NOT TO GO THERE EVER AT ALL UNDER NO SURCUMSTANCES ,as well says is hotub and pool on property and not true as well laundry available but couldnt get axcess to that room to do as well nice machine was in there and no axcess its completely dispicable place everyone aside from one person i dealt with was rude and unable to solve the issues , if want disappointment go ahesd im sure they will help you explicidley , good luck

We went fishing before we checked in and got there at 3;30 .We were wet and cold .We were looking forward fora hot shower but there was no hot water. Tried a couple times that evening but no hot water.In the morning we tried again but no hot water. Also when we got there the tv and receiver wasn’t plugged in so I had to put the dresser away from the wall to plug it in also I had to be careful not to let the tv fall over.Another thing is we got some ice from the machine at 4 o’clock and went back for more at 6 o’clock and it was locked up. Another thing they had 2 little glasses and 1 coffee cup. I am very disappointed with that inn and will never go back.From now on I’m going to check the reviews before I book anything. Unhappy visitor

Front desk girl is unfriendly and rude, no hi no thank you no please. Room condition is rundown. Bathroom fan is stuck and noisy. Bedroom door is broken off the hinge. Window is not shutting properly. It was cold and noisy from the outside. Carpet is dirty filthy. Breakfast is only a name breakfast. Hardly anything eatable but thanks for the coffee. I guess price was OK so you get what you pay for. Or better more expensive hotels in the area.

After hours check in was terrible service. Took them 15 mins to come to the front counter and left us waiting out in the cold. Then they were just rude to us making us feel as if we inconvenienced them. The young woman spoke so fast and mumbled all her words we had to ask to repeat our room number 3 times.
Our room wasn’t very clean and the shower didn’t work. When we complained about it they gave us a downgraded smaller room with a smaller bed even though we paid for the bigger room/bed and our second room had a blanket on the bed that looked like it was taken out of the trash it was so full of holes. The “continental breakfast” consisted of boxed cereal with no milk to pour on it. Overall a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

Our room was clean in terms of the bedding etc. but the carpet was very stained, there was a very obvious burn hole about the size of a dime in the comforter and a couple other things. The bottom sheet wasn't big enough to be tucked in, so after a bit of tossing and turning I woke up on bare mattress.
That being said, if you're looking for a place to crash on a budget and don't mind a place that needs a lot of TLC, it's just fine.

Paint chipped and peeling on door and floor moldings.
Bathroom door would not close properly unless you lifted up on the door.
No screen on the window.
Smoke detector base was there but no smoke detector.
Coffee cans all over outside for smoke butts.
Advertised that there is a pool but upon check in we were told \"NO\" there is not a pool.
It would appear that some the feed back ratings might be suspect from what our experience was of this property.

The main issue for me was the lack of safety handrails in the bath room and also no safety pad on the bathroom floor.
I am 79 and when I stepped out of the bath ,I lost my footing/ my feet slipped and had a bad fall. Bruised fingers and right thigh. I wad fortunate that I did not break anything and I thank the Lord Jesus fro protecting me from worse injury,
You should install a safety handrail and a safety mat in the tub.

I want to say up front that the girl at the desk was awesome, sweet and very accommodating.

The place was very run down and unclean.

I did find out that the owner/husband had died a year ago which is very hard and the wife could not keep up.

However it almost felt like homeless people were there as every room outside had a large coffee tin stationed outside the doors and were full of cigarette butts.

The rugs were very stained, no screens on window, toilet roll was broken, and the room was in bad need of paint and a good scrub as well as the shower.

I did not end up staying and the young girl reimbursed me immediately.

This was our second stay at Budget Inn. The room was comfortable and better than our last stay. Unfortunately, their ice machine was not working which is important for long travellers. Having a supply of ice for guests in such a situation does not seem like a difficult task. Fortunately we were able to get ice from a guest without travelling to a store. They saved the day and made the stay enjoyable. Except there was no telephone and we didn’t have a working mobile.

Where to start. The pics provided on the Expedia site were not an accurate depiction of our room at all. I will say that the room was clean and free of bugs however in my opinion it definitely required a lot of improvements. Gouges in the walls which should have been patched and repainted. Trims around doors peeling and really showing wear and tear. Bathroom had a nice sink area, tub/ shower had black mold while some floor tiles were cracked or lifting.
Floors were decent and a/c was good.

We got as far as walking into the room, turned around and left. We did not stay, it was very run down and not clean at all. The carpet was disgusting and had stains all over it. I’ve never seen a hotel room in this condition. The carpet was filthy and peeling from the floor, there were holes in the walls, the toilet was not attached to the floor and the windows were filthy and moldy. The front desk staff was also so unfriendly, but she did allow us to check in early to get ready for the wedding we were in town for, so that was positive. We decided to leave the wedding early, pack up our things and check into a different hotel. The thought of sleeping in those beds was too much.

Even though I had phoned 3 days in advance & asked for early check in because the wedding started at 3pm - when I got to the desk about 1:15pm desk clerk was annoyed with me & only checked to see if one of the two rooms we had booked could be made ready after I begged (we had driven 8 hours to get there).
The gentlemen obviously renting by the month were a little sketchy. Their dog that met me at my car door was nice.
Then the carpet in the room was so disgusting I didn’t want to take off my shoes.
Bathroom sink was plugged.
Bed was at least comfortable.
But the walls & doors were so dirty.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and overall, it was a decent experience for a short visit. The hotel served its purpose, but a few issues impacted my stay, leading to my lower rating.
Unfortunately, there were people drinking alcohol and smoking right in front of the room, which made it uncomfortable and less enjoyable. The room itself had some cleanliness issues—there were flies, and it felt a bit dirty, which was disappointing. Additionally, the breakfast was not particularly impressive, lacking variety or quality.
While the stay was adequate for a quick stop, these factors detracted from the overall experience. I hope the hotel can address these concerns for future guests.
