The O’Gallery is conveniently located in the Old Quarter. This is a 4-5 star hotel w/o question. Service and our room were impeccable. Food outstanding. Everyone went out of their way to insure that our every need was met. We would definitely rebook in the future.

Well located for the lantern festival. A quick cab ride from the HSR station.

Staff did their best to help and accommodate us. English is not widely spoken here. But everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Recommendation: Get cream and sugar in the rooms.

I went with my elderly parents and get a farthest room from elevators . I paid the more with the museum view room but not really getting. We had dinner with my cousin down stairs cafeteria,(because we didn’t make reservations for the 2nd floor restaurant)we waited for dinner more than 40 minutes with flies and mosquitoes . All the service staffs are very nice. But the experience is not quality good

It is located next to the Southern branch of National Palace Museum. Easy walk to the museum. Looks like a new developed area so not many stores & restaurants nearby.

Wonderful hotel convenient to national museum

New upscale hotel with great location, wide vareity of breKfast selections and helpful staff. We selected this hotel last minute after the earthquake changed our plans. We had a wonderful stay and gladly stay there again.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room is very clean and spacious. We ordered the same dishes in the restaurant for the past two days as they’re extremely delicious. What I do appreciate most about this hotel is this hotel shuttle bus service is excellent. Although I travelled with my disabled wife in a wheelchair, we got all the assistance during our stay.

Overall a pleasant stay

Service was great and friendly. Location is in a peaceful area, but there are not many food options nearby, so we had dinner at the hotel. Buffet had a good selection and was reasonably priced. The room was on.the small side but otherwise nice. Pool is also small but we were the only ones there so had a great time. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Nice New hotel in Chiayi

Evergreen Palace opened in Dec. 2019 and currently still in soft opening phase. Overall the stay was good with room for improvement.

Hotel still had that fresh renovation smell and breakfast buffet was acceptable for a business hotel.

Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum was right across the street within a short 5 - 10 min walk. Otherwise, there is not much to eat around the area (besides McDonalds), you will need to drive to the nightmarket downtown which took around 25 mins. Definitely go there and try out the famous Chiayi chicken rice.

Some areas of improvement needed at Evergreen:
1. the hairdryer was too weak, even as a guy, it took 10+ mins to dry my hair
2. you need to sign out for the treadmill key and remote control from gym reception... receptionist needs to tell guests proactively and also put up a sign in the gym
3. room card had problem swiping when checking in on the first night, had to go down and get it reprogrammed

We stayed at this hotel on the way to the south tip of the Taiwan island.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it is very close to National Palace Museum (south branch); it takes only 2 minutes to the park. The disadvantage is that it exists in a newly developed area probably after the High Speed Railway so that, unlike the old Chiayi town, there is not much else to see.
The facility is clean. Our room had a nice view of the museum park.The dining area is more or less like a food court, but the food is reasonably good.
Not many staff people speak good English except the receptionists. But it's no harm;-)

櫃檯服務及房務服務人員都很仔細有禮貌。浴廁很乾淨，但如果洗手台旁邊有可以掛擦手毛巾的地方那就更好。洗手台太小，水會噴到檯面以及地上。

房間隔音不錯，但是冷氣的聲音太大，影響睡眠。 房間裡可以放物件的桌面明顯不足，其中一個床邊桌太小。房間理燈的控制奇怪，無法單獨控制洗手台區及飲水吧台區。早餐服務人員擺設餐具匆忙粗魯給人觀感不好。早餐果汁難喝，咖啡杯盤有明顯咖啡漬茶漬。

雖有以上瑕疵，但整體住房經驗還算不錯。

質感不錯的飯店

第一次入住，外觀就是傳統長榮的紮實感，但飯店裡低調內斂的佈置，一進門莊嚴精緻的千手觀音雕像，內部燈光設計蠻有質感。接待入住的速度算快、因為生意興隆、遊客很多，但4點才讓客人入住，11點就要退房是小缺點。入住男性服務人員感覺很累！沒有熱誠。
3樓是娛樂室、泳池，娛樂室遊樂設施全部都要自費，對住客蠻小氣的，泳池不大，擠滿小孩們，就不想去了。泳池那層樓是不是沒有更衣室？住戶要尺度很大，穿好泳裝坐電梯（我就跟幾位穿泳裝的客人同座電梯）雙方都尷尬。
停車場車位很大，退房後可以停到下午兩點滿貼心。早餐蠻豐富，嘉義名產雞肉飯、嘉義涼麵也都有！很好吃！品項很多！故宮南院對面，我房間直接可以看到故宮水舞秀！很讚！

隔音不錯，睡的很舒服。沒有在飯店內用餐，所以餐點無法評論。覺得飯店大廳應該在提供多一點給人坐著休息的地方和咖啡點心讓人比較有賓至如歸的感覺。游泳池很棒，如果可以增加遮陽的設備讓陪同的父母不至於過度曝曬的話會更好。住的房間是靠故宮南院的那一邊，比較貴但景色沒有介紹的好看，夜晚的水舞燈光秀被樹檔的減分很多，所以建議大家直接走去看比較好。

典雅有藝術風格的飯店。

整體感覺都不錯，飯店是新的，只是床是標準size，就比較小。 房間枕頭每個人都兩顆，很不錯，只是羽絨枕我也是比較不習慣。

大廳人員會幫忙送行李到房間，幫了大忙，因為我們四個人行李蠻多的。早餐很豐盛好吃，服務人員也親切

在這主要是可以看到故宮南院的全景，很美，我們就是專程來參觀故宮住這裡。

大廳的千手觀音收藏也很美。

本次入住的是1004房,進去時就沒有冷氣,後來請師傅來修理,但是早上的時候冷氣又壞了,2樓咖啡廳自助霸不太好吃,客房餐飲加2成服務費有點貴,4人房沒有浴缸,房間偏小,5周年的飯店電視卻不是智慧電視,賣長榮的周邊商品太少,住過台南台中基隆的長榮,嘉義雖然只有5年,但是卻最不理想,有很大很大進步空間,加油

Nice hotel, superb service

Diagonally opposite the south gate of the National Palace Museum (NPM) Southern Branch. Ten minutes drive from the Chiayi High Speed Rail Station, either by taking bus, taxi, NPM shuttle bus or hotel shuttle bus.

The room is spacious, clean and elegant, equipped with modern facilities.

The hotel staff ~ lobby hosts, hotel porters, front desk receptionists, room attendants, .... are all polite, attentive and efficient. Service is excellent.
