The room was very small. I think young people would like it. Shower was awkward.
The most disappointing thing was that I chose it because the site said something about coffeeshop/Cafe and I thought that would make a 2 day stay easier. The coffee shop was the typical big carafes on a table that most motels have now and the Cafe was some snacks like chips and bottled drinks. The breakfast was ok.

We liked the spaciousness of the room we were in (1 king bed) - also very comfy bed.
Breakfast was ok - needed a bit more sweet breads, rolls. Muffins etc - and also more fruit.

Jason
Stayed a week here. Clean but construction finish of the rooms was rough. Breakfast had only a few options.
steven
Very clean and streamlined hotel. Breakfast was well staffed and very satisfying. Worth making the step up to Hilton hotels .
stephanie
My room was very dusty and there were two dead bugs (small) that somehow housekeeping missed. Also, there's no closet--only hangers. It was fine with just me but if my husband was traveling too, that would have been an issue for our clothes. I found breakfast unappealing but maybe that's just me. Overall, it's okay. I wouldn't stay there again but I'm really picky with hotels.

Connie stood out not only a person that takes their job seriously and performs it well but is also a people person. She saw in our faces that something was off and she took the time to ensure my family was okay. She uplifted our spirits and because of her, when we return to Lynchburg, we will be staying at this location.

Got woken up at 5 am due to a dog barking in another room which continued for the next 3 plus hours. Mentioned it on check out and lady at the desk admitted she knew about it and did nothing. Went to get breakfast with still plenty of time before it was supposed to be closed for the day and everything was either broken and not working or out of stock. Unimpressed.
marty
Pretty clean, nicely renovated and courteous staff. Room was average in size and feel. Breakfast was mediocre.
Lauren
Extremely clean and the staff was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely choose Tru for my next stay.
Amy
Great staff that was welcoming and accomodating to our early arrival. The room was clean and very nice.
The breakfast staff was friendly and checked to see if we needed anything.
My first time staying at a Tru, but I will use them again.
The breakfast staff was friendly and checked to see if we needed anything.
My first time staying at a Tru, but I will use them again.

Room was good. Nice and quiet. The floating bed did catch my knee and left a bad bruise.
Handicapped tub was a huge help, with the mini fridge has a freezer to keep
Ice pack cold for my insulin.

The staff was great but the problem I had was the room next to us was very loud. I assume drunk on drugs or both. Guys started shouting non stop in Spanish from 11:30 until 3 am.
My wife called management around 1 am I think and he said he was coming up to the 2nd floor to see what he could do about it. They did calm down for about 10 minutes and then started up again. Then it sounded like they were throwing furniture around and continued to do what ever they were doing till 3 am. But the staff were very good especially the cleaning lady wish I knew her name. She saw us when we were leaving our room and found my phone charger and ran all the way down to the front desk to return it to us. She was very busy working when we left our room so would not have blamed her if she hadn`t tried to return it.

Numerous hairs in the shower not belonging to either myself or my husband

We enjoyed our stay, but the TV didn't work at times, and the room could have been a bit cleaner. We've stayed here before without any issues, so hopefully this was a one-time occurrence. The staff is very nice.

My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our two night stay at the Lynchburg TRU. Sarah and Carmen made our stay extra wonderful when they helped us move rooms. Sarah was always so pleasant and knowledgeable about the facilities. Sarah and Carmen make the hotel a joy for all! We felt special.

Rooms small, but smelled great—clean and fresh. Good hotel breakfast

The rooms were so noisy. We were facing the highway, however we have stayed at all hotels near by also facing the highway and didn’t

The rooms are clean, love no carpet in rooms. Beds are comfortable. The only thing we did not like was breakfast hot food. Eggs and meat options were not hot. Eggs are not real. Meat items not cooked. Coffee was not good. I prefer no hot items when its cold and not cooked.
Heather
This was my first TRU stay. It was awesome. I may not go back to Hampton Inns. We did have one issue with our A/C and they immediately offered to move us. Excellent customer service.

A Good Stay
Overall very good.
Hugh
The property was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was sparse and mostly carb filled. There is no pool and in many ways it’s a no frills place to stay. It wasn’t terrible but wasn’t spectacular either.
Stefanie
Clean, neat, nice breakfast. Was very close to Liberty university- our reason to travel there.
Only minor complaint- no microwave or coffee in room.
Could use microwave and there was round the clock coffee, tea, cocoa available in the lobby.

Loved it!
It was great except that someone on the follow above me was making a ton of noise at 5:00 in the a.m. as well as last evening.
