Rather spartan but clean and well-located. Nice reception desk team
Andrea
VERY disappointed in this property! Overall the building was maintained, but our room was gross. The bed was covered in dog hair, and they were not clean. When I went down to the front desk, the clerk was rude and after some persuading, she begrudgingly got us all new bedding, since there weren’t any clean rooms to offer. So we re-made our own bed!
I then noticed that although our AC unit was working, the cover was missing, and there was mold and dirt in it.
I knew we were either going to stay where we were OR go to another hotel and cut our losses. We ended up staying and it was manageable, but we will NOT be going back.
We did call Hilton and got a case number and will follow up with them. Monday I will call and speak to the manager.

Quick stay for work, Hotel is bright and newly renovated. Clean comfortable room/bed. Hot water and decently sized shower in a small bathroom. Microwave and fridge available. Free breakfast. Worth the price charged. Would stay again.

Good Hotel ✔️

I have stayed in Hylton Spark hotels before, and they were great, this by far was the worst one I have ever stayed in.
Jeanne
Everything was super clean and the staff was very friendly .
Erin

Staff was great. When told of (2) problems with our room, she efficiently and effectively took care of the matter and got us into another room. Kathy in the breakfast area was very personable and kept the area very clean and well-stocked. Housekeeping is very attentive and professional. Physical structure itself is in need of repair/upgrades. For example, shower doors in two different rooms did not properly close and allowed water to leak out onto the floor. Staff is doing a great job but are up against an aging facility.
marty
Nice open room with bright, modern decor. Bed and pillows very comfy. Very odd shower but roomy. Breakfast was very sparse; cereal, bread options and yogurt.
Elizabeth
Good parking
Susan
The hotel was Stark. The entrance was looking beat up. And breakfast was a little too sparse. It was very quiet though!
Kaniyah
The room is very modern with a smart tv as well. I really enjoyed our stay
Danielle

We needed a late night check in due to a family emergency. The night clerk who checked us in was duper helpful & friendly.
Muralidharan
great clean room & friendly staff.
michele
Nicely redone room. Spacious. Clean. Good location for my needs. Would stay again.
Jane
Great!
Robyn
Good place to spend a night or two. Clean facilities, plenty of towels, friendly staff. Breakfast options were very limited, but it was included in the room fee.
Marilyn
The shower setup was awkward resulting in water on the floor plus I needed to request additional bath towels because none were provided when the room was cleaned. On the positive side, communication was daily via text messages regarding if I had any needs or questions
Jamaecca
The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. There are some basic amenities like a fitness centre but the equipment is a bit limited. Still good though!
Joe
All was great. Lynchburg has some of the kindest people on the planet.
Susanna
We attended the graduation for Liberty University and was not familiar with the Hilton Spark. We had an amazing experience from our arrival to departure. The accommodations were great, the staff (Sonja, Bonnie) were excellent.
Rita
The rooms were clean, and the property itself was in a perfect location. Overall, we had a good stay. The cleaning staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk was not as pleasant, the woman checking us in seemed bothered by our arrival, which made for an unwelcoming first impression.
The hallways could have used a bit more attention, especially with vacuuming. The breakfast was also disappointing. We ended up going elsewhere to eat, and even the “fresh” fruit didn’t look very appetizing.
That said, despite a few drawbacks, I would still stay here again because of the great location and overall experience.

Breakfast menus was ok, some fresh foods and packaged foods. Crowded little area to eat. But clean and courteous staff.
Juliette
Great place to stay!
Scott
I was my understanding it would be a full breakfast…eggs, bacon etc. not fruit and cereal!
Cynthia
didn't have breakfast but felt very safe and the staff was very helpful
Carolyn
Didn't use breakfast options or other services. Parking is limited. Old building but mostly well maintain. Staff were nice.
Walter
Room was clean, bathroom area small, bed very comfortable. Very good location in Liberty University area. Easy to get in and out of. Only complaint was room had no means to make coffee or tea. Had a microwave but no coffee or even cups to warm up anything to make a beverage. Breakfast was ample but eating area tables hard to get into with set up. Would stay again as long as price stays reasonable.
Patricia
Rooms were clean and staff were very nice. However, the hotel could use some upgrades with carpet throughout the hotel. It is very dated, but clean.
Dana
It was not a clean hotel - sticky floors in the rooms, stains on the wall; it was clear that the room was not really cleaned. I stayed for two nights and while housecleaning came in to refresh the towels, they did not make the bed. What was funny was that I kept the towels hung, which I thought signaled that new towels were not necessary. The elevator was dirty as well. Because of the condition of the room, I did not try the free breakfast.
Alisa
I stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and for the most part, enjoyed my stay there. It's clean, in a quiet and safe and convenient location. The staff is great and hospitable and makes sure your needs are addressed. Overall, it's a great place to stay, but for a shorter visit, IMO.
The reason I recommend it's better for a shorter stay, is the breakfast. It is a \"bagel bar\" which consists of 3 different types of bagels, 2 cream cheese options and boiled eggs. There are also cereals, milk and oat milk. I hit it up for 2 mornings, but after that, I just wasn't interested. There is a sign that says if you want other breakfast options, there are items to purchase at the front desk. There was one Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese pancake biscuit in the fridge for purchase...only $2.50, so a good deal...but I don't like pancake biscuits, so not something I purchased. Would be great if it was a hot breakfast.
The room we stayed in (standard King room) was really spacious and had vinyl wood flooring, which is a nice touch. The TV is great and there's a mini fridge and microwave as well. Nice shower as well! The room was excellent. Plenty of towels as well.
The gym is great. Good weights, a bench, treadmill and a Peloton bike, which was awesome because I was missing mine! Towels and cleaning wipes. Water station as well.
Overall...a great hotel for the value and for a shorter stay.

Property and staff were excellent. Breakfast were somewhat lacking and limited.
Kerry
Really nice clean room. Breakfast was well done
Wendee
The staff here are a delight, which is a rare find in most places we've stayed. If you have pets, it's convenient for both you and them when taking them outside for their needs, along with plenty of space to walk without worries. We missed breakfast because we overslept, as this place is quiet compared to other places in busy areas. Last, but certainly not least, the hotel is nice and clean. Thank you for a pleasant stay!
Jennifer
Do not recommend! Buyer beware! Cancelled my reservation without contacting me after running my low limit credit card that I used to hold my reservation on a pay at the property. Front desk associate didn’t stand or greet us upon entering the hotel. Refused to rebook us & told us to go to the Home Too. Called Home Too & they wanted to put my party of four in a room with one king & a pull out for more money. No thank you! Made a reservation at the local Marriott and was treated amazingly. Hilton just lost a Hilton Honors member. Marriott is now my go to.
Harvey
You can tell from the shower this used to be a sleep inn but completely remodeled with lots of USB and 3 charging stations that you just lay your phone on. Nice overnight stay.
Ludmila
Make sure the room is actually clean.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

The breakfast menu is sufficient, but no hot food available. The staff was very nice.

We stayed for almost a week. The staff were very friendly and informative,
Cynthia
Love the new remodel
Ceihna
The front desk team are very friendly. Our room was incredibly comfortable and very clean. Parking was easy as well. You can’t beat the 10% off at the Applebees next door as a guest of the hotel. Highly recommend.
