Loved the Ville, the privacy, close to the beach ..the staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet was good, good selection of food. The pool was very clean and enjoyable. Will stay again if I return .

The staff were very helpful, room was beautiful, thr breakfast buffet had a great variety of foods and fruits. My only complaints were the showers took like 10 minutes to get warm water, there was no shelf in the showers, and the bed needed a pad because it was like sleeping on a brick.

I would not rate this resort highly comparing to its price. Yes, the overall facility (such as trees, swimming pool etc) are comparable with the hotel rating/price. However, it is not backed to the beach. The breakfast is expensive. The amenities in the room are poorly arranged or equipped. For example, there is no chair in my room. The washroom is very small and poorly laied out.

Our bungalow family suite with bunk beds was perfect for our family of 4 (10 year old twins). We stayed 10 nights. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our daily cleaner (Kwang) was excellent! We loved the close access to the pool (room 202) with a short walk to the lobby and right across the street to the beach.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a junior suite which was nice, but the bathroom area was very cramped. Otherwise, it was very nice to be able to have the additional safe and nice patio to sit out on and enjoy the quite evenings. The pool area was excellent and the location was awesome to access the beach and all the vendors. Are looking to our next visit.

Great place for the price and location. Easy access to the beach. Steps away from 7/11 store, a bunch of restaurants nearby. Very clean, no smell. Very good hotel for this price. I'm glad I found it.
We stayed in the Sunprime neighbor hotel, but we left that place due to a bad smell inside the rooms and bathrooms. Horrible experience with Sunprime. But we found this Princess Kamala hotel and it so much nicer and much cheaper. So glad we moved out of there and go in here.

Perfect place for wedding guests to stay.

A wonderful location, surrounded by everything fun. So much action and then when you return to this hotel, you are treated like a KING. The pool and architecture are truly inspiring. With bungalows and lighting that glows in the most romantic way this place is definitely a couples oasis.

The property is nicely situated and near the beach. The pool is quite large and clean. The staff was accommodating too.
Our room suffered from a stale smell from the A/C-easily avoided with routine cleaning. Breakfast was substandard - -especially compared to other venues in the area.
We paid for a floor level pool access room, but it was too narrow for us to easily access due to the design.
The bungalows would have been a better choice, as our upstairs guests were very noisy and stomped on the floor A LOT! Not much the property can do about that.

We loved it here. The pictures on the website did not do it justice and we came with low expectations. Our garden villa was beautiful, with a lovely outdoor seating area, big room and perfect bathroom. We couldn’t have asked for more.

They provide umbrella, robes, slippers, hairdryer, safe and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a welcome drink and a kind man carried our heavy bags to our room.

The location is great too. We enjoyed being in quiet Kamala beach in the day then a cheap taxi to Patong at night. The beach is lovely and there’s enough little shops and restaurants to keep you busy for a few days. We’ve been in Thailand for three weeks and this stay was definitely the highlight. We look forward to staying again!

Location is great for the beach as it is directly across the road. Many local restaurants to eat and have drinks.
The hotel was once a jewel, but now is in need of a major overhaul and upgrade. The bathrooms need a complete re-done.

We really enjoyed our stay for the following reasons: it was close to the beach, local restaurants and 7-eleven to grab snacks. The staff were friendly and our room was cleaned each day with fresh towels. Breakfast is the same everyday but has good options. We enjoyed the omelette bar particularly. For a \"5 star\" resort it was certainly falling short. Rooms were dirty, with mold and rust in the bathroom. Housekeeping didn't change sheets in 7 days. The hotel refused to give us clean towels after a trip to the beach. The large pool had hundreds of broken tiles which was a hazard to my 2 year old daughter. The hotel needs serious renovation.

One day, we arrived back at our room from the beach at around 3 pm and our room hadn't been cleaned. I spoke to the front desk and were quite rude, giving me an answer like who knows? I said my daughter needs to nap, so I can't have people knocking on the door. They started speaking in Thai in what seemed to me a mocking tone.

On the bright side, the kitchen staff was always very friendly and welcoming, and the food was good, but overpriced compared to the neighborhood. The hotel is in a convenient location, only 2 minute walk to the beach.

Phuket is a very inexpensive place, and for the price I paid, and the 5 star claim I was quite underwhelmed.

Didn’t have the room available in a main building that was booked so upgraded supposedly to a ‘cottage’ and the far left of complex. Cottage was spacious but no privacy when curtains drawn as all windows overlooked and no ‘net’ inner curtain. Housekeeping was non existent for us as they had not arrived by 3pm and we wanted to nap. So do not disturb sign placed on door. Next day we asked for clean towels and water which was met by a why. We also asked to be serviced early as we are early risers but do like a nap in the afternoon and The room never got serviced after that which was disappointing. Pool area needs sweeping as litter built up for days and pool itself needs maintenance but that would mean closing it which I don’t think will happen. Breakfast ok but chaotic with too few staff clearing dirty tables leading to long wait for tables the staff did work hard though apart from the seater who was lazy Location good and quiet opposite beach and at edge of shops and restaurants.

Nice property very near Kamala Beach and the nearby road with many restaurants. Excellent location. Beautiful pool with nice pool bar and fairly good prices, especially for hotel bar, but closes earlier than pool. Many cheap restaurants and bars right nearby and walkable to several other roads and entertainment. Short walk to beach right across the street. Pool was clean and pretty. We stayed in a bungalow which is hot as AC cannot be left on while out of the room, but the AC does work well to cool down the bedroom area when sleeping at night. Once you figure out the shower's hot water, it is ok but does not always get hot easily so hard to figure out how to turn on initially. Our shower was extremely small and hard to figure out how to turn on without spraying the entire toilet area, so had to hold the shower head in our hand the entire time.

Pretty property. They closely track the towels, but it is hard to get yours as that desk is not open as early or as late as the pool is open. Some of the staff was great and a few were rude. Not fancy, definitely adequate and loved the quiet location. The shower was the worst part. Friend had a different bungalow which was slightly better but still small bathroom. Overall decent value

It was a 300-400 Baht taxi ride to the much larger, louder, and busier Patong Beach. It takes 20-25 minutes to get there. We prefer the Kamala beach which is terrific with rentable beach chairs and people who bring you drinks and food, very nice.

Run down Beach Hotel

Nothing special about this hotel. It's old and run down. Beds are terrible, although the AC did work great! The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. Its directly across the street from the beach and in the center of the beach town. So, there is very easy access to stores and restaurants. This is also one of those places that does not let you check in early even if the room is ready. I got thier at 2:25pm and said the room wouldn't be ready till 3pm. Then at 3pm about 40 people all went to the desk to get keys to check in, just stupid and crazy for no reason. Even with this being a great location, I would not stay again.

Our room was way in the back of the complex. Walking on the pool deck, although newly replaced, was unbelievably slippery! At night, ther was a step that was not lit and someone could really fall and hurt badly! The pool, although beautiful, was very unsafe too as there were jagged tiles and underwater steps to hit with your legs. Bathroom and light switches were very awkward! Staff was nice

Beware, the Junior Garden Villa room was nothing like the photos indicate. To put it bluntly, the villa was awful. It’s in desperate need of renovating. The living room had nowhere to sit, all you got was an oversized TV cabinet with a TV the size of a postage stamp. Had to drag the dirty old veranda chairs in to have somewhere to sit. The bathroom was dirty & tiny (could only fit one person), the toilet was in the shower, pipework was exposed & waste water from the adjoining cottage ran through this bathrooms floor waste pipe. No bedside lamp or switch for overhead lighting. A/C could only cool the bedroom & was as loud as a truck (needed earplugs in to sleep). Attached veranda was anything but appealing to sit on, was dirty (never got swept) & the view was of the neighbors bedroom window. Hotel states soundproof rooms, this is incorrect, you could hear every word from the adjoining villa & having 2 babies there screaming all night was enough to drive anyone mad. Asked reception on 3 separate occasions if they could put us in a different room, they did not want to accommodate this, instead told me to go to the website and book + pay for another room in the resort (despite the villa being more expensive than the standard rooms at the resort). Booking stated welcome drink, never got that however I did get skin rashes which cleared up a day after leaving the complex. Location is great (its not beachside though), pools are ok, but in need of attention. Its expensive for a dump

Beach access was good but despite it's name it is not a beachfront hotel, the beach is located across a road and a short walk away. Hotel was nice outside, pot luck on the rooms, our first room had an electricity pylon outside, we complained and our second room had five air conditioning units outside which we could hear through the wall. The breakfast was okay, good selection but not great. For the price we paid we expected much more.

Avoid this hotel

Had water running through downlights, creating a scary electrocution hazard and also forming large puddles on tiled floor which resulted in slipping and falling over.

Informed staff who had zero interest in my condition as a result from fall but only trying to sort out the water/electricity issue.

Was told its nothing to worry about and will be fixed in an hour, we returned to room only for it to happen again and worse.

We were then transferred to the another much inferior room to the one we paid for.

Every balcony and patio that we were located next to seemed to be another tourist smoking weed straight into our rooms (Also smoking at swim up pool bar!)

This is not a place for kids.

We had to leave as my 9yo daughter was terrified to sleep there after seeing me fall in water created by leaking downlights and the fear of electrocution.

The staff and hotel manager were inept and quite hilarious in their responses. It was like Fawlty Towers!
