stayed for a couple nights and had an overall lovely experience. the rooms were clean, lovely decor, big fridge and tv. the aircon worked really well. bathroom was small but good for our stay and stocked with little amenities. would definately recommend and thank the staff for their kindness :)

Honestly, the pictures are so deceiving. When you look at this place, you think you’re staying at some beautiful resort. Plot twist, you definitely aren’t LOL. If the pictures were accurate I would’ve given a better review. It was just really unfortunate how deceiving they were. I don’t know, it wasn’t just my opinion.

Good location immediately on the “entertainment and bar” street, just off of main road. 8 min walk to beach and the “shopping and restaurant” street.

Staff were very nice and helped with getting reasonably priced taxis, which was nice compared to other hotels that gauge tourists.

Internet was poor but was in top floor.

While I have no real complaints the correct google search for this place is Baan Kamala Backpacker. Very nice and quiet place with exceptional food next door at Issan Popeye!!!! Easy 5 minute walk to Kamala beach, however we found a better place just a 10 min Grab ride away, called Surin Beach, a must go to if Kamala Beach is to crowded for you. The front staff are extremely friendly and helpful as they saved us $1200 Thai baht in n an all day Phi Phi island tour!!!! Would stay here again for the $47.00 we paid!!

I overpaid for this hotel.. my reservation in pattaya with an oceanfront view, beautiful room and breakfast included vs this one doesn’t make any sense. It was definitely a scam to book this hotel in expedia. The hotel in front of us was $3 more . Not happy at all

My stay at Baan Kamala Fantasea was fantastic. The front desk staff were wonderful—always smiling and eager to help with recommendations. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Each room includes AC and hot water for a relaxing shower. Another thoughtful feature is the hotel's unique waiting area, designed to look like an old boat, where guests can relax before heading to the airport. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay, and the hotel is just a five-minute walk from Kamala Beach.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The property was immaculately clean, which made me feel right at home. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the beach, allowing me to enjoy the swimming every day. The management was exceptionally welcoming and responsive, ensuring my stay was comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend this place for a perfect beach getaway! Also close to nice restaurants and bars.

The property is not flashy, but it's a great value. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are lots of small restaurants and bars nearby. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away.

The room was cleaned regularly and a there's a safe in the room for your valuables.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time there.

Comfortable stay at funky hotel at good location

My friend and I chose Baan Kamala Fantasea as the room had twin beds and the hotel was described as a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the decor of the hotel and the comfortable area for hanging out downstairs. There were some neighborhood cats nearby which we loved. The hotel is on a street which has lots of bars so I'd imagine that at high season the atmosphere might be slightly different, but we didn't mind walking home at night as the area was well-lit and safe. There are shops and restaurants nearby. Shower was good and the room had a little balcony which was useful for drying clothes. The staff replied to my emails quickly and generously allowed us a late check out. Would recommend it and would stay here again.

The manager Sun was quite helpful, as were the rest of the team. He just happened to be the one around most the time. I highly recommend staying at their hotel. It's in a fine location fairly close to the beaches and near about everything else you might want or need.

Very nice hotel, but bed sheet and towels were old

The hotel is very nice, rooms are clean and modern, service is good, the breakfast is very good. They have an excellent pool design and it is huge, the kid's pool is nice with sand, my son loved it a lot! But the bed sheet and the towels were old, we found some holes on the sheet and the bath towels were old, the beach towels were ok though.
Try to keep the doors close if possible from the mosquitoes if you stay on the first floor!!!!!!!

I would stay here again

We were welcomed by a friendly front desk staff member with a refreshing cinnamon welcomed drink that they make daily. We were then showed to our room that was on the 4th floor. The room included free WiFi, a safety box, bar refrigerator and the shower was enclosed (unlike some places in Thailand that have the shower, toilet and sink all in one). What I appreciated the most was the balcony that included a stainless steel sink to wash clothes and a rack to hang dry. This was the only place we've stayed in Thailand so far that had that amenity.
Very friendly staff that made sure we were comfortable and happy.
About a 5 minute walk to the beach.
This place is also less congested and less noisy than Pattong. There are some 7elevens, banks, bars and restaurants close by that were convenient. Easy to take a red car to Pattong.
It was nice having to walk by the mini garden oasis lined with stone sculptures between the reception area and our room.

good quality-price ratio

The hotel is well situated close to the main road (1 minute walk), but not too close for the noise of it, and close to the small shopping street (about 4 minutes walk) and about 7 minutes walk to the beach. We liked the modern rooms that were very clean and the staff very very friendly and helpful. We found the price very attractive for what we got there! We would return again and will recommend it to friends and family.

Best guesthouse experience

I booked the Baan Kamala for 2 days and 2 nights as a family trip. The location is excellent--about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants/shops, but just far enough away to get away from all the tourists in the beach away.

I would highly recommend Baan Kamala for its exceptional staff. The hotel was kept very clean and we were given free bottled water everyday which was nice given the heat and humidity even in November. The staff was very kind and made our stay both an enjoyable and comfortable one.

Stayed in deluxe rm for s$26 a night. Room was modern, clean though there were some ants on d refrigerator top but that didn't bother me. The location was gd, short walk to beach n many restaurants pubs n cafes around. Had breakfast next door at popeye. Decent food.

Staff was friendly n helpful. The only grouse was the rock hard bed, not used to it.

Overall a very gd value for money hotel.

Bra läge, trevlig personal! Cirka 6 minuter gångavstånd till stranden. Rent och fräscht, AC var gamla och lät ganska mycket. Annars ett jättebra hotell och har vi vägarna förbi kan vi absolut tänka oss att komma tillbaka.

Für eine Nacht okay aber nicht länger.

Das Zimmer war gereinigt, allerdings war das Getränk der Vorgänger im Kühlschrank und deren Haare im Bett.
Im Bad befanden sich angebrochene Packungen von Hygieneartikeln.

Die Balkontür ließ sich nicht abschließen, viele Dinge waren kaputt und das ganze Haus roch sehr merkwürdig.

Das Personal war dafür sehr freundlich und nett

Hotel Preis Leistung top, wenn man halt nicht viel braucht. Liegt in einer Nebenstraße… trotzdem sind dort Bars und die eben manchmal nachts laut. Zu Fuß zum Strand is es nicht weit. Beach towels verfügbar. Personal nett. Alles in allem super.
