The room was relatively clean however the restaurant and the breakfast areas were filthy!!! The old decor look covers up the true cleanliness of these areas and the hotel generally.

I booked a room with 2 twin beds for 1 night and paid £400 5 nights before my stay. I was given a single room with 2 single beds joined together??????

Overall, the hotel is clean and the beds are small ,but it's just to come back and sleep. The whole day you should be out exploring Paris and eating different food. Slippers, hair caps, and extra amendities you need to ask if you want them not given to you when you walk into the room.

This hotel is a farther away from the city and there is a lot of walking you book this hotel. I recommend a hotel near the city more so its easier to travel back and forth to drop off stuff. This hotel is 30 minutes -45 min away from Paris city.

The area around the hotel is not bad ,but not the greatest.

Lots of gyro types of restaurants. I believe it is people from Turkey type of people

Not up to Novotel standards

First impression was negative since we had no help with our luggage (dragged from street), and the front desk lady spoke English poorly. We had booked a suite hoping that if I snored the sofa bed would give some space. But the \"pull-out bed\" was a chair pull-out that was almost touching the bed, so it would not only be no help but was in the way. The suite had more square footage than a standard room, but was laid out very poorly. We immediately asked to change to a standard room (mainly because my wife uses a cane, and the suite was a VERY long walk to the very end of the hall). We changed to a standard room, but the hotel refused to credit us with the price difference.
Other negatives:
Nothing in mini-bar; Our bathroom was cramped and a bad layout; Only instant coffee in the room; The roof-top terrace was only open for breakfast & dinner (with reservation); They closed the restaurant one evening (for an event) with no notice to guests; The bar times were very limited, and the bartenders could not make many standard drinks (e.g. Martini); The neighborhood around was lousy.
We got in an elevator one day to almost step on large shards of glass from a broken wine glass on the floor. When we told the front desk they said \"Oh we know, and intend to clean it\"! But the elevator was still in operation!
OK, there was one positive: the breakfast was excellent.
Other Novotel hotels (e.g. Barcelona) have been much better. This hotel seems to only serve the convention nearby.

I loved my stay at Novotel. The hotel has a contemporary, sleek design and the rooms have a minimalist luxury with many elegant and functional touches.
The best part was the service of the staff who were so helpful, accommodating, flexible, and friendly. They were fluent in English and also spoke French with me when I tried without any of the snobbery you might experience elsewhere in Paris. They were accommodating about keeping my bags securely before and after check-in so that I could make the most of my travel days.
The director of the hotel was amazing and brought my luggage out to my rental car when I pulled up to go on a trip to Normandy. He told me about the place where he grew up close to my destination, and was exquisitely polite, personable, and professional.
I would definitely stay at Novotel again. If you book in advance, you can get a great value, too!

Terrible

Temperature control in the room was terribly HOT and they provided fans to cool down. Reported to manager who was rude. Customer relations manager had to step in address our concerns and she offered a free night stay in lieu of fixing the problem!

The room was packed with furniture and the carpet was dirty. Breakfast lounge staff at both their restaurants were rude and unfriendly!

My elderly parents and I got 2 rooms on 2 different levels. I asked the staff if it’s possible to get access to the levels we’re both on. They said it wasn’t possible. They only give you 2 key cards and one is needed to operate the power in your room. So basically you’re stuck with one key card when you’re at the property. My dad had asked the receptionist if they can let him in to my floor (because i felt sick) but they said it was not possible. So my poor dad had to walk up the stairs to come get me. Quelle horreur!

Need to put air-conditioning on

The temperature throughout the hotel was unbearable. We asked several times for our room to be adjusted as we were told we couldnt use the aircon out of season. Although the bed was veru comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and modern. We could not give more than 2 stars as we didn't sleep well at all because of the heat...even with the window wide open.

Property was great on location to getting around and very quiet and neat. The downstairs bar/reataurant gave excellent service, cannot fault them.
Few concerning points; bed was not made just covered with clothing still under sheets which we thought we lost. Toilet roll was empty and not renewed . 8th floor rearuarant service was horrible, not organised or managed properly, waited 20mins to have order taken and seeeing guest who came after us were eating. Ordered drinks and never git it until i reminded waiter on leavijg that we never got the drinks so tgey needed to be taken off the bill. Waiters were all about and not in vharge of specific areas which was very confusing to who was waiting ot sat down first we left the reataurant very quick and went off site. Apart feom this 2 disappoinments the hotel is indeed a 4star experience.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The room was great. We asked for a sofa bed for our kids and every afternoon when we got back to room, sofa was already made for our kids to sleep in. They even allowed us to leave our bags after checking out, since our train wouldn't leave until late afternoon. Overall experience was great! We would definitely stay here again when visiting the beautiful city of Paris!!

The staff was friendly. The amenities were decent. I like that they had a gym at this location, but the cable machine was not very good. the movement was not smooth at all and was limited in range of movement. The air con in the room was not strong at all and the thermostat did not display the temperature so I could not tell if it was actually cooling down. The room was very warm, and humid. The bathroom was not constructed very well as cracks in the shower, loose pipes made the place feel very cheap. Overall, I would not stay here agai or any Novotels

Hits and Misses

Decent hotel. It trys to be \"cool and camplike\" but the desks in the tent are not efficient, the staff has to run back and forth to the office for supplies/key cards. There were 2 staff members that seemed to really know what they were doing and were kind and helpful. Others in training? The hotel also attempts eco-friendly w/water bottles, LOW flow showers and pre-set a/c settings. We visited in early June and it wasn't even that hot yet and we were warm all night. Staff said the a/c levels were set to a max/min. Yet, they replaced all our towels even when we hung them up. Also, great restaurant on the roof with incredible views but we could never eat there as it was always pre-reserved w/no availability for hotel guests. The bartender was delightful (but full bar only available with a meal).

Friendly welcome and good service - location near Metro very convenient. Room was very comfortable and clean, hotel communal facilities are nice. Commendable focus on the environment - however the filtered water stations on each floor did not always work and the room was very warm (air con not on until summer); we were advised to open the window but huge exhibition centre next door with loud noise from early morning meant this wasn’t ideal with young children.

Positives:
Great break fast, lobby and hotel decor is quirky, beds are comfy, water fountains on every floor to fill your water bottle which is a great initiative to save the environment. breakfast is pretty good and kids eat free.

Negatives:
We booked a family room but futon or sofa bed is not the comfiest, ok for smaller kids
Aur conditioning is barely enough you akways get this feeking that it can be a bit better and since windiws do not open one is just relying on AC so performance shoukd be improves.

There is no front desk so you have to figure out who the front lobby exploiters are, the bathroom door on the rooms are smoked glass that swing both ways and do not lock and are transparent. The location requires you to walk quite a distance before you get to the sights at the river edge.

Amazing property and the roof top restaurant was amazing. The breakfast is a mess as they are not adequately staffed and it’s over crowded. The make your own eggs option needs to be rethought as most guest don’t seem to get it. At the Grange, I was refused an itemized bill after multiple requests and instead even the receipt only had one line item with the total due. I had to do the calculation separately for what I ordered and realized the wait staff added an additional tip which I would have gladly left anyway for the service and the food. This experience won’t stop me going back.

Nice hotel

We had a lovely stay at Novotel. The hotel was quite nice with clean rooms and facilities. The only issue we had was with waiting for breakfast as the the area for serving breakfast was a bit small for the number of guest so every morning we had to queue to get a table.

After an awful experience at our hotel in Amsterdam, we arrived at the Novotel and were blown away. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were extremely pleasant to work with and kept our room consistently clean. The breakfast and the fitness room were both amazing necessities to have in the hotel. We will definitely being stay there again and signed up for a rewards account due to our experience. The location was also wonderful as it kept us right in between all of the sight seeing we had planned. Highly, highly recommended!

Not a 4 hotel and need proper reception

Small shops around but not an easy walk distance from Porte de Versaille Station if you carry baggages or pram.
Water pressure too low so shower was barely working.
I don't like their idea of running a moving reception as the reception often unattended (we had to wait over 20min for check in) and not clear where the reception is.

Amazing place to stay

Staying away from center in this hotel was complete worth it. One cant imagine such a beautiful and specious hotel in such a economical price in Paris. The asian lady at the check in counter was such an amazing person

The hotel was beautiful and modern but the first morning the alarm went off by an employee by error before 7:30 am and woke us up and everyone ran downstairs and outside. I asked for some compensation and they wouldn’t do anything so I think the customer service was not goid

My family was staying at this hotel for 11 nights and 12 days. Thr experience at check in was smooth. The room was ready and we could get settled in after a long flight.

However, the nightmare started when Europe was experiencing its record breaking heat wave. Our hotel room was pretty warm when we got in. We thought okay, the room will cool down after we turn the AC one. We get ready for dinner and come back a few hrs later thinking the room will be comfortable. Nope. The room was still warm and not getting cool at all. If it was, it was working very slowly. I called the front desk and I asked if they could helpe and they helped trouble shoot stuff I've already done. Then I call back and mention it's not getting any cooler by the time it was bed time. An offer to switch room or thoroughly checking our ac would've been nice but the staff was just nonchalant about it.

Next. Would be the poor TV selection. I totally get we were in their country their channels in their native language. They had an option where we could stream Netflix and YouTube using Chrome cast. Well guess what? Didn't work. I called the front desk and they said they're system was updating all week? Well I'm very computer savvy and understand a thing or two about updates modern tech. We tried several devices only to come up short. So we were stuck watching BBC and CNN for 11 nights cause it's the only thing we could really understand. Again not a problem. Just wish they had more options and given me a stra

Will stay here again! The staff was super friendly. I loved my suite for 3. It was super spacious with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. And the breakfast divine. One of best I've seen. Fresh and something for all. The only drawback for me personally is that i couldn't do the short 5 minute walk to the metro becayse of a disabilty. So it was a bit pricey to get around. About a 20 minute taxi/uber to ile d'el city. There is a super eady trolley that is easy to get to E/W. And a taxi stand avross from hotel.

Extras: They provide a yoga met in the room. Doing yoga each am with that view so lovely. Super family frienly. My kiddo had an accident the first nite and they handled with kindnesd.

Nice spacious and quiet room with a comfy bed and good shower room. Room service app did not work however and the restaurant was only open one night of my stay severely limiting dining choice. Disappointed with eco approach with lots of toiletries and condiments in small plastic wrappers.

Great hotel, nice location, close to tram and metro. Breakfast was very nice, only fruits were in bad condition and few. We had a junior suite and we were surprised by the aromatherapy capsules in the bathroom. Great idea.

What a beautiful cozy hotel. The lobby is absolutely amazing, many activities for kids. Hotel staff well informed and willing to help with any issues that arise. Hotel breakfast clean with an assortment of food. Prime location to metro, buses and trams. Highly recommend!
