Clean and nice. Staff tried their best with English, but we don't speak any french, so communications were a little hard at times. Tv kept turning off, and wouldn't connect. Bathtub extremely strange. Had to literally climb in as it is knee high. I'm disabled, and this is very hard to handle.

Our week-long stay here was absolutely incredible. The staff provided outstanding service, always attentive and ensuring a seamless experience. Housekeeping was impeccable—rooms were cleaned daily, and staff even checked in to offer additional cleaning. Returning to a spotless, well-maintained room each day was truly delightful.

The location is perfect, with the lake just a short walk away and a large shopping mall only 10 minutes on foot. Parking is convenient, featuring ample space and EV charging stations, making it ideal for electric vehicle owners.

Overall, this stay exceeded expectations in every way. A well-deserved 10/10—highly recommended.

Nice hotel, don’t get breakfast though!!

Hotel is nice, breakfast was very bad, they also charged me for at the hotel for 3 breakfasts when I only had breakfast once (added to the room upon arrival for one day). They said that a manager would contact me to refund me and they did not, I have called multiple times but no one answers the phone.

This is my second time at Novotel Creteil Le Lac and it was again excellent!

The staff is just amazing !

The hotel is very close to Creteil University metro station (Line 8) which is very convenient for people looking to visit Paris.

Unless you want to spoil your trip never go here.

We had a terrible stay. Rooms were dirty; our little boy had an insect bite. Staff does not speak a single word of English. (Luckily, one nice staff was there in the bar - friendly and nice). We asked for extra pillows, they never brought it. Area is quite bad as well. We left the hotel one night early despite paying for the hotel as we couldn't stay there. We booked it despite seeing lots of bad reviews, trusting in the Novotel brand! Big mistake. I still cannot understand on what basis they have been given a 4 star. Only good things are, Free parking and you can get a bus within 7 minute walking distance.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel as we were attending a wedding in Paris. It is set in a quiet residential area next to a large lake and although close to a road there was no traffic noise. There was plenty of parking at the hotel. There is a train station you can walk to and bus stops nearby, however, we did not use them, so I can not comment on them. Close by is a large, modern shopping mall, a 10 minute walk away, with a bug selection of shops and a huge supermarket. Inside the mall there were a wide range of places to eat all through the day and into the evening, including a McDonald’s. We used the hotel restaurant for dinner and the food and service were excellent. You can scan a menu to read it in English, which was very helpful.
We arrived very late at night after travelling on the Eurostar and were welcomed and booked in quickly and efficiently. The room was spacious and clean and was serviced every day. The bed was very comfortable. There was a kettle and cups and a few fruit teas bags and along with a small fridge/chiller in the room. There are water stations in the hallways where you can get chilled still or sparking water in a glass bottle, which was provided in the room. We had a great stay at this hotel and found all of the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Parking is great and quite. Not the most upscale or up to date. It rated 4 star, it would rate at a 3 stars due it limited amenities. Don’t expect luggage service or help opening doors. Overall not bad for the price of $130.00 per night.

Great room, lovely staff in the restaurant.

The hotel is a 10 min pleasant walk to the shopping mall where you the metro right into the centre.

Stay here and do yourself, say yes to breakfast!!

Sandrine makes the best breakfast in town! Everything is tasty. Of course, the croissant, the baguette, the bread in general is fresh and delicious. They gave yogurt with fruits in the side. They have various different kind of cheese. Great juices, hot chocolate, coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, etc. They even have bacon which is really not a French classic! They have cereals and pastries. I'm sure I forget some stuff. And everything is the best! The service staff at the restaurant and in the hotel is top notch. The only negative is the gate to get to the hotel didn't work when we were there. And the hotel would need a little refreshing of the rooms. But we would come back and stay there again in a heartbeat. 45 minutes drive or metro to Paris center.

Plates wont be clean while u have breakfast. Pls watchout.

AC will not work and instead they ask you to Open windows or will give you fan.

For Checkin was waiting for 20 mins..no one was there at reception.

If u come late at night with kids..becareful as staff at reception will watch Adult content on large screen.

Room cleaning service is horrible.. inspite of placing DND, staff still try to enter to clean room.

Hand football game is only for namesake. For 3 days i was following up but staff couldn't find.

We stayed at this hotel from the 7-10 Apr & they didn’t supply what I had booked & despite numerous requests they failed to address the issues raised.
I booked 3 beds as my 2 step daughters cannot sleep together in a bed.
When we arrived at the hotel (7th) we found that we had been given a room with just 2 beds. I raised this with the person on the front desk who said there was nothing she could do & I had to speak to the person who was on duty in the morning.
In the morning I raised this with the person on the desk & they said when I returned that evening (8th), this issue would be resolved. When I returned in the evening, I spoke to the person on the front desk & they knew nothing about it. They tried to sort out another room but they said they only had another room exactly the same as what we had, but they would leave a note for day team to resolve it. I asked if I could have a complimentary breakfast as for 2 nights I hadn’t had the room I had booked. They said no problem & noted it down.
When we came down in the morning (9th) at 0955 there was nothing left for breakfast. Another family was complaining as they had paid for a breakfast service and there was nothing there, see photos below:
Food can run out but the person in charge of the kitchens attitude was terrible & she was also rude.
So we left with no breakfast.
We returned that night from Disneyland, our room hadn’t been changed & our existing room hadn’t been cleaned. Air con also didn’t work.

First of all the check-in was a very unwelcoming experience and the receptionist didn’t have any level of customer service.

We booked a family room for two adults and two kids, and the beds had only one blanket. I tried to call the reception to get an extra blanket as our kids wanted to sleep with individual blankets, but didn’t get any answer. In the evening we went down to the reception to ask for another blanket and had to have an interrogation style conversation as to why our kids needed to sleep with a blanket which felt very uncomfortable. Usually these kind of simple requests are easily taken care of and a customer should never ever have to explain their needs..

Next morning the receptionist had changed and the level of customer service improved slightly and check-out went somewhat normally.

Only positive thing (with sarcasm) was, that the over double of the amount of the actual stay charged deposit, returned in just within 48 hours.

Overall can’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is conveniently located for the metro (around 15 mins walk) which we wanted to use to get into the heart of Paris. The public areas in the hotel are modern but the room we stayed in was a little tired. Having said that we all slept well and would quite happily stay there again. The hotel also felt safe and the staff were very helpful.

The pros: the staff did their very best, thank you to them. The lobby is nice and the pool area pleasant too.

The rooms were run down with ingrained dirt in the bathroom. The aircon seemed to be on but actually did nothing with the room temperature at night over 27 degrees. Requests to change this were not helped. When I switched off the aircon and opened the window our baby ended up with over 30 mosquito bites.

Guests were not asked to wear masks - covid discipline was very poor.

The staff is friendly and professional. Our room is good but the AC blower didn't work so well. And its a bit cramped for 3 people.
Breakfast was great, but the tables inside were always covered in dust.
The pool closes at 7pm. So plan accordingly if you want to take a swim after a day of sightseeing.
I would stay here again.

I liked that the property was family friendly. However, their infant cribs were cheap. I ended up sleeping with my toddler in bed with me because it was not level. I liked that kids could play outside and their was free parking. The room was overall accommodating for what we needed. The staff was very friendly!

The place is under reconstruction now, it was difficult to find the entrance, the rooms were not kept well, and the whole place looked like a mess. The staff were better than expected from a place that looks like that, but didn't go out of their way to make our stay better under the poor conditions of the place.

Not a pleasant stay!

We had a previously stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and had a really good experience, so decided to rebook.
However this time we had a number of issues:
- on our first night there we had the hotel receptionist knock on the door and without giving us a chance to get to the door, he unlocked the door and started to come in! He claimed he thought the room was empty and then asked how many of us were in the room!! Our kids woke up because of this and we felt quite vulnerable. No one apologised to us over this indecent
- the next morning we wanted to make tea but found only one teabag, so went to reception to ask for a few. He asked how many days we are staying and how many of us drink tea! We were staying for 3nights, so he handed us 5 more to last us the 3 days!! We didn’t even bother to argue and bought our own bags
- the first day we arrived all the tv channels including Disney channel (which our kids like watching) were working, but somehow they cut off our channels the next day and none of the premium channels were working!

I won’t go any further, but to say AVOID this hotel!!!

Staff verry upset and angry every day. .....breakfast close at 9.30 that's ridiculous. .....kids are in holiday and they sleep till 99 a clock. .in half an hour like in the Army have to be done in salon for breakfast. If you are in late with 33 min after 9 30 the breakfast is gone. ........that's is absolutely ridiculous! !!!

Convenient for hopping into Paris

A modern hotel in a lake setting.

Paris is very accessible from the location. There is a train station within a few minutes walk.
The staff at reception were friendly. There is a secure car park, which suited us as we had a roof box and bicycles that were able to leave attached to the car.
The breakfast had a good selection of continental style options as well as cooked bacon, chipolata sausages and scrambled egg. The coffee was good from the machine.

One international conference on clean energy was held from 6 to 8th Feb 2018 in the hotel. The participants can stay at the hotel and attend the conference at the same. This is very convenient for the participants. Hence such convenience is even more important considering the heavy snow during that period of time.

Nice stay at the NOVOTEL

Stayed 4 nights in this Novotel in the south of Paris, and the expereince was better than expected. Some of the reviews we read ahead of our visit were not great, but the location of the hotel regards meetings we had to attend was pretty good so we went ahead and booked it anyway.
The rooms were quite spacious and clean and the view (room at the back of the hotel) was across a park and lake with Paris in the distance, so also very nice.
Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and quite good with decent (free) WiFi. The breakfast was good with a decent range of choices and the restaraunt was also pretty good with a nice menu that included small snacks to full meals, all well presented and well cooked. The added bonus was the outside terrace facing the park and the very nice swimming pool which was quite well used as the weather was quite hot. The staff in general were very helpful and friendly. There is not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but a 15 minute walk around thenfar side of the lake will take you to a quite large shopping mall that has several eateries including Asian Fusion, Italian, McDs, Japonses and a couple of others plus all the usual large and independant stores. Walk through the Mall and you come out at the Prefecture station of the (Line 8) Metro which takes you directly into the city. A 2 day pass cost us 19 Euros each for unlimited travel on the Paris Metro/Buses, so good value. All in all a good stay at a decent hotel.

Junior suite was over priced with several bits of poor repair. Glasses left on the floor for a whole day in the corridor. TV didn't have much choice. Staff were welcoming but waiter and some reception staff didn't speak much English and also did the bill wrong on check out and nearly overcharged by 300euro; language barrier didn't help. Restraunt had odd menu as did room service and all overpriced. Outside pool nice but not heated. Local area is run down so although metro is 10 minute walk it's not good to walk at night. line 8 metro ran all the way into Paris and was very efficient. Your buses are expensive and take ages so metro is the way to get around!

We rented a Sixt car and was able to find secure gated parking here for free, the room Size was nice the bed was an actual queen size bed unlike most hotels in Europe the tv had 3 English channels bbc, cnn (international) and CNBC the staff was great very attentive and responsive and very knowledgable everyone spoke clear English expect for the bar staff the room service was good

We enjoyed our stay. Nice hotel conveniently located, by & large the clenliness was ok. Need to pay s bit more attention to detail with regards to maintenance & cleanliness. Our room door handle was missing from inside. Bathroom could do with a good thorough clean and s lick of paint. Corridor & room carpet needs to be shampooed.
All staff encountered were really good, especially Luik (sorry if I have spelt the name wrong) was brilliant. Very helpful & friendly.

For the price this hotel was good value. It's a little tired in decor and the surrounding area is poor - police stopped by the hotel a few times, but the hotel itself is a great base for Paris or Euro Disney. Staff are fantastic, reception and breakfast staff were all very helpful. Breakfast times were very busy and at times there wasn't any cups or food and we had to just stand and fight for tables. Some horrible people took that frustration out on the staff, which quite frankly was plain to see they were moving constantly and could by have done any more. 2 more staff members were simply needed, or maybe the manager should have come down and helped?? But overall great

Spacious room, but weared-out bathroom and toilet. Dinner was terrible, the only choice at the time we arrived were salads, fair enough, but the quality of the salad was poor and the salad overpriced. The charming of dinner at the terrace was spoiled by the number of spiders and spider nets on the walls, roof over the tables etc.. Some cleaning and maintenance of the outside would be also required. Didn't feel like a four stars hotel, more like two stars.

So bad

Charged me again at the hotel after I paid online. Charged me for 2 breakfasts when I only had 1. Room had an infestation of bed bugs and when I reported this at the front desk on checkout and again on the phone when I was refunded for the room double charge, it was barely acknowledged and there was no apology. Rooms are dated.

good. Dear manager the door knob on room 236/237 is too hard to open. the inside has to be a lever type to have a grip.

Too Far from paris City

The rooms is too small and not clean, i don't know why this hotel has been rated 4 star, i wil lrate this as 2.5 star hotel. The bathroom and toilet has no vent. People get fooled by the pictures on Expedia web page, don't look at the nice pictures on web sites and book this hotel.

First stay

Staff very helpful, but don't leave breakfast to the last minute as a couple of the staff got grumpy. Room and hotel clean but it's now well overdue a ruferbushment in all areas.
Th other downside is that its a good distance to the nearest tube ( 20 minutes walk) and is a little isolated if you are visiting Paris.

Excellent hotel

We were staying at this hotel 5 nights, the room was clean and tidy with huge LED tv, the shower and toilets are standart, the elevators are small and needs renovation, the location of the hotel is pretty good, there is a big mall that located 15 minutes walk from the hotel, its called \"Creteil soleil\", the hotel is located on the lake, which is very nice place to travel, at the other side of the lake there is a \"center\" with pizza and \"Kosher\" restaurants for the Jews community which live there, it can be helpful for Jews/Israeli peoples, the hotel is 30-40 minutes on metro to center of paris, the metro station is 15 minutes walk but for people who don't want to walk there is bus station infront the hotel which can take you to the metro station, overall the trip was excellent, recommended hotel, will visit again !

Decent hotel for a one night stopover

We chose this hotel on the outskirts of Paris to break up a journey to the south of France and back. The first thing of note was that the hotel had secure gates on it which was a cause for concern. More of a concern was that they were left insecure, rendering them useless. The area itself was very pleasant, next to a park with a lovely walk around a large lake and a nice little food outlet selling Pizza's and very tasty wraps.
When we entered the hotel I asked a member of staff if my bikes would be okay on the roof of my car but was told they would not be safe and could be stolen. To ease that concern, without asking for it, the receptionist offered to let us store the bikes in a downstairs conference room which she locked for us. This was a very nice touch meaning we could relax.
We only had breakfast and on both occasions the food was excellent. plenty of choice, fruit, serials, croissants, fruit juices, tea, coffee, bacon and eggs. More than enough choice for anyone.

Great stay

Really struggled to find the hotel as we arrived much later than planned. However, the restaurant was still open so we were able to enjoy a delicious meal before bedtime. The breakfast was great too. The only negative was the pillows so that's being really picky! Would definitely book this hotel again. It easily accommodated two adults and two teenage children.

Good but too far

The hotel was clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. However it's 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro, and then almost an hour to the center of Paris. If you are going to disney it will take 2 hours on the metro and rer. I guess the major issue is it's location. If you are driving and not wanting to goto Paris center it's fine

Carpet was very old and appeared very dirty, there was no electricity on one day for about 6 hours. The fridge in our room was flooded with water and not working well. The air conditioner was not working. The other key to our other room was not working even after we reported it,it was not replaced .. The breakfast was ok but some food finished and you had to constantly ask for things.the waiters were all very good and helpful though.

From the minute we arrived to checking out, we experienced excellent service from the staff. We had an issue with the \"Comfort Cooling\" rather than air conditioning. We soon got used to this after the first night.

Beautiful grounds and lake view from room!!

We had a panoramic view of the small lake with ducks, swans and ecoscape. The staff was very helpful with all aspects and requests. The food was quite good. The room was clean and comfortable. Beware of the meaning of \"air conditioning\". It is only a fan and not what we are used to coming from Houston, Texas. Overall, we were comfortable.
