The place was great because people who work in the hotel were so nice and I appreciate their hard work(they got 5 stars) but our room was very small for three beds and the bathroom was little little little it is incredible the capacity of the owner offering this very little place! The room got 3 stars.

Good quiet location, close to a metro station and a good shopping mall. The staff were also friendly and helpful. There is also a McDonald’s right beside the hotel which is really convenient.

The 3 beds in the room I stayed in with my two sons were very small in size. They were each less than the size of a standard UK single bed. Their rooms with 3 beds should also be larger. For the price, I guess it was not too bad though.

Good quality for money, clean and parking

It was good. It was just a night but staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable, big enough, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were somehow too flat for my taste but in general all was good. There are some parking spaces within the property. The tube/subway is about 10 mins walking and there is a big shopping centre mext to the tube entry. It’s about 40 mins by tube to Paris centre. Good connection. I’d recommend it if going to Paris by car.

We stayed there because we were visiting friends nearby. This hotel was the closest option to their place. Considering the location and the price, this is a pretty good deal. Some matters, like room size or shower cabin size, could be better, but recall the price, and it looks reasonable now. Oh, and I couldn't find anything much better in the area within the same proximity, so there aren't many options. Overall, I'd recommend it and stay there again.

Short break to Paris for our 45th wedding anniversary although quite far from centre of Paris there is a Metro train a short walk away which has trains every 8 minutes and you were in the centre in 30 minutes. As we were in Paris all day this hotel was a nice place to rest your head after a long day. Staff were very friendly and helpful could not fault them room cleaned every day would use the hotel again Thank you Paris

Near metro station for Paris which is 1 hour away . Large shopping centre nearby and McDonald is next door to hotel. Room are very small with no armchair but a chair . Convenient if you just need somewhere to sleep as room is claustrophobic.

It was my first time in the campanile and I was so impress with the entire staff.Professional,friendly and helpful.Any request we had dealt with it quickly and efficiently.Room good size and clean.Location near à massive mall, train near by.on the minus side main road a bit noisy.However I will book this hotel again.

Old hotel far from the city. Small room with tiny bathrooms, the shower space was a ridiculously small corner. No air conditioner. It was so hot in summer. You have to open the windows and is next to the highway and train tracks so is very noisy. Breakfast for €10 is mediocre and no other food options around besides a McDonalds attached to the hotel. Area around at night is sketchy and there’s people hanging in their cars in the parking lot every night (doesn’t feel so safe). Front desk guy in the mornings was great, therefore the girl in the afternoon-evening shift was rude and not helpful. At the end, It’s a “cheap place” to stay but cheap is what you get.

It was ok

Came to Creteil for 2 nights before our road trip to the south of France. Rooms and bathrooms were small, no air conditioning, and right on the freeway. It was convenient to the mall and train station, about a 10 minute walk, but because there was no AC, we had to sleep with the windows open and because it was located next to the freeway, it was super loud and there were always people in the parking lot talking. Staff was very friendly but I'd rather spend more money and stay at a nicer hotel.

Very small room

Stayed for 3 nights with my wife and 3 years old grandson . Short walk to large shopping centre and underground trains to central Paris . The room is very very small and slightly claustrophobic . I am of small built , just over 5ft tall and can barely fit in the shower cubicle . If you are looking for somewhere to sleep only , then it is fine as the room was clean , warm with good comfortable beds and clean sheets .

Temperature in Paris was about 38 degrees centigrade and there was no air conditioner in room. Hotel staff just provided a small table fan diameter of blades of fan were hardly 6 to 8 inches and on top of that hotel staff was not co operative. Had terrible stay there and will caution others for booking this hotel.

The room meant for 3 persons was a bit small and you had to walk about 10-15 minutes for the nearest public transportation but the connections are great after that. 2 trains and 25-30 minutes and you're at the Eifel Tour and many other famous Paris landmarks.

OK for the money paid.

OK overall. Around a 3 star. Really needs to be cleaned up a bit better, at least my room (room 302). Bathroom and walls need to be scrubbed down a bit but a good value and stay for the money paid.
Be cautions of the breakfast. I thought I had pre-paid but apparently not. Ask before you eat! Minimal English speaking staff.

Stayed for one night to visit the near by hospital. Hotel is clean, comfortable, and warm. Booked a non smoking room and it was fine. There is no bar at present due to refurbishment. Close to the metro and bus stops and a Macdonalds on the same site.

Campanile Creteil Centre - Smokers paradise

First impressions on arriving at the hotel were immediately off-putting as there were a number of people hanging out their windows smoking. We were rather concerned that the rooms would smell of smoke and we were right. Each time someone 'lit-up' you could smell the smoke in our bedroom. We needed to keep the window open as the room was so hot, but the smoke from those people who were at their windows also drifted into the room, so we had to sleep with the window shut. Consequently, the room was unbearably hot.

The neighbourhood felt un-safe and because of the McDonald's Restaurant attached to the hotel, there were a lot of cars moving in & out of the car park and the smell from the restaurant could be detected inside the hotel too,

The hotel is shabby and needs a good clean and up-dating overall. Not a great experience and would not stay there again,

Tout était parfait. Une seule remarque concernant la signalisation extérieure : seule l'enseigne du Mac Donald était éclairée, donc mon arrivée de nuit a été un peu difficile d'autant plus que je ne connaissais pas le coin. Mis a part ça tout était impeccable, le personnel très gentil et efficace.

Notre expérience a été extrêmement négative. Dès l’arrivée, la demande de copie de nos pièces d’identité nous a profondément choqués, cette exigence étant injustifiée et déplacée alors que le séjour était déjà entièrement payé en ligne. La première chambre attribuée (109) était imprégnée d’une forte odeur de tabac, totalement inacceptable. Après réclamation, nous avons été déplacés en chambre 214, dont l’état était tout aussi problématique : lavabo bouché, chasse d’eau des toilettes hors service, propreté et entretien très insuffisants. Le lendemain, le personnel est entré dans la chambre malgré la pancarte « Ne pas déranger » affichée sur la porte, ce qui constitue un manque de respect évident. Pour finir, après notre départ, la réception nous a appelés pour nous réclamer la taxe de séjour alors que celle-ci avait déjà été réglée. L’hôtel est dans un état général déplorable, vétuste et manifestement mal entretenu. Nous déconseillons fortement cet établissement.

J'ai demandé une couverture supplémentaire pour la nuit mais il n'y en a aucune. On est quand même en automne. Il faudrait en avoir.

Arrivés vers 21h30, nous avons constaté dans la nuit que la chasse d'eau ne fonctionnait pas !!!!
La literie et le matelas en particulier bénéficiaient de ressorts très désagréables pour le dos .
Une étape d'une nuit dans cet hôtel dans lequel nous ne remettrons plus les pieds ...et surtout pour le prix qui n'est pas à la hauteur de la prestation.
Ne parlons pas du petit déjeuner très moyen .

Die Unterkunft ist insgesamt sehr verkommen, die Fenster führen zu einem länglichen Balkon wo alle theoretisch vor deinem Fenster stehen können. Als Frau sehr gruselig denn auch die Fenster konnte man leicht auf und zu machen. Im Handtuch waren Löcher, das Frühstück für 12€ absolut nicht umfangreich. Es stank im Zimmer extrem nach Putzmittel- man hätte vorher wenigstens die Fenster aufmachen können. Die Fenster waren nicht verdichtet entsprechend gab es einen Zug. Gut war dass es Parkplätze gab.

La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas, la chasse d'eau fuyait, le lavabo etait bouché, la serrure de la porte d'entrée cassée, bruit des chambres voisines alors que la chambre était censée être insonorisée... Bref, catastrophique cet hôtel et nous avons donc quitter l'hôtel au bout de 1h30, car invivable un jour de grosse chaleur. Réclamation faite à l'hotel le lendemain par mail et sans retour de leur part, malgré 2 relances.

Tout était très bien. Très bonne insonorisation alors que l'hôtel est juste à côté d'un axe routier et du métro. Petit bémol, la climatisation qui se réglait systématiquement et automatiquement à 20°C. A titre personnel, je ne trouve pas ça raisonnable. D'abord d'un point de vue purement confort c'est beaucoup trop bas (la température réglementaire est de 26°C) et d'un point de vue énergétique et environnemental cela représente un gouffre énergétique, c'est dommage pour moi de gaspiller ainsi autant d'énergie...

Seule dans ma chambre, j’ai été dérangé une première fois tambour, minage à ma porte dès 23h30, la deuxième fois, une personne est venue aussi toquer dans la chambre vers 2h31. Troisième fois vers 5h du matin, j’étais morte de peur que ce soit des personnes malintentionnées, j’ai demandé un remboursement de la chambre et bien sûr aucune réponse de l’hôtel, je le déconseille fortement. Si vous êtes une femme seule, c’est vraiment un hôtel à fuir. Heureusement, la dame de la réception, le lendemain était très gentille.
