The front desk staff on checking out were v vague nice and polite but had no idea how to answer me or understand my Englis...older member tried but trainee just said nothing.l understand he is training of course but to just stare at me like with no attempt to help not reall good and easy v frustrating,sorry🙏😞

Just need to update their advertisement according to the situation of the hotel at the moment OR renovate and renew most of the old furniture, and improve hospitality, dining, amenities, etc. No coffee and tea in the room, TV are only Thailand channel, towels not smell good. shower was broken and old

Poor hotel. Checked out early room was awful, smelled and lights didn’t work and was smaller than Advertised. Complained again and got anew room where tv didn’t work. Hotel on busy road and old and dirty. No English channels on tv even if it had worked. Said was 3 star but I would struggle to class as 2 star so over priced. Don not stay here

Hotel is outdated. Does not represent the pictures. Room was very dark, view to old abandon building, mold on bathroom tiles, and mildew smell in the entire Room. Also, 35 min walk to Grand palace and other famous temples.

Great place to stay in Bangkok

Great hotel and good accommodation for vacation. Worth the stay and the price. Clean rooms. Very nice, accommodating and hospitable staff. Good wifi. Relaxing pool and great restaurant. And its very near to Bangkok's tourist spots and landmarks.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel - Bad Wifi

The hotel is amazing. You get a nice breakfast, nice swimming pool, and a nice room.

The only problem is the WiFi. I had several urgent stuff that required me to use the internet but no luck. I called the lobby and they said i have to wait until tomorrow. and it was like always. Not once.

Clean unpretentious close enough to action

Very friendly staff always happy to help and offer advice. Close to Kau San but far enough away to be separate from noise and clutter. Very basic but functional decor. Breakfast was ok but then that was true of all hotels I stayed in. Don't opt for European fodder the Thai and real fruit choice much better.

Smoke smell and terrible wi-fi

Enter the room and you will smell smoking odor which will make you gag immediately. We also had to kill a dozen or more of mosquitoes because we opened the window to air out. Filthy bathroom and very poor wi-fi service. Would not waste time or money on this place.

Enjoyed the stay, Staff were helpful, Rooms clean but a bit cramped and some of the lights didn't work. Located within walking distance to Thanon Khao San Rd. Nice swimming pool.

Nice hotel, needs improvement

First I was given a terrible room with no hot shower and altogether horrible.
Then I was moved to a better room, very nice and clean. Breakfast was good, swimming pool nice but no sunlight as it is in the middle of the building.
Reception staff not helpful, forgot my morning call, didn't get me a taxi and very bad English.
Still it is in a nice area and I would stay again if they would do some improvement.

Good, quiet location with a nice pool

The hotel was in a nice location if you want to stay around local people, good street food and local temples around. The hotel is basic and small rooms. Bathrooms were poor, water splashes everywhere. However; the pool was very nice. The breakfast buffet was also decent. Hotel is a good price and within 20 minute walk from the National Museum and Grand Palace.

Nice cheap hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Spoke little English but no problem talking to or understanding. Small but clean room. Great if traveling solo. A little bit of a walk to Khoason Rd. Nice pool. wifi worked great in common areas, but very spotty in room, even though a.p. was located right outside room. May not have been working. Would consider again for a quick stopover. No hand towels are supplied or offered. That was my only real inconvenience.

Not for couples, the surrounding of the Hotel is ugly, the view from my window was uglier, I couldn't open the window. Cleanness and comfort, I would say basic. Compared the price we paid I think it was expensive, if it did include breakfast it might have been ok. The only good thing about the hotel was the swimming pool.

Decent hotel

Location of hotel worked for me as I was on a business trip and the hotel is close to where my work was. For the price, it was a decent room - clean and spacious, nice though not high quality furnishings - and the room view and sound was of refreshing green tree leaves and cooling cascading waters. So not bad at all! There's a lot of room to improve on the breakfast buffet though ...

staff in the restaurant are nice and seem to care. Breakfast is good.
Wifi is only available in common areas - which is a real inconvenience, especially when you've to to access the internet outdoors in significant heat and humidity
Pool is beautiful but is often in use at 3, 4 and 5 am with much noise coming from the pool area - so it's not easy to get a good night's sleep

After reading reviews and seeing pictures we decided on booking here for our last two days in thailand. First off the receptionist did not crack a smile while checking in. First room they gave is on 5th floor in the older part of the building was absolutely disgusting. From the bathroom, to the long hair spread on the beds and the doorknob fell of with in the the first 5 minutes of entering the room. I asked for a change of rooms. They were great about that. First room after that was ok, second room we agreed on taking. The room itself was ok. This was in the \"resort\" wing. This is don't get, the bathroom. I don't understand this need hotels have of putting a window facing the room in the bathroom. This window was 30cm from the double bed. So the scenario is you're basicly sitting on the toilet doing you business while your partner has a great view of it from the bed. Gross. On top of that the shower door doubles as the door to the bathroom and is NOT soundproof. So unless you're traveling alone or you and your traveling partner have very few boundaries the book it. Oh and they say free wifi. This means free wifi in the lobby and not in the rooms.

Not a good location, in the middle of nowhere in Bangkok. Restaurants are far and few. The hotel is close to the Grand Palace and Temples but not walking distance. Long ways from the airport and from the bus station if your planning to travel. WiFi isn't dependable either. Didn't have breakfast there but it appeared to be okay, a little on the high side but they have the monopoly as there's not much other choice if you want breakfast.

Beautiful, too far from beach

Beautiful place. Very clean. Spa is too expensive & had limited hours.
The front desk staff purposely duped me into paying an exorbitant taxi fare to get to the beach. (I found out it should be 40-80 Bahts - I was told to pay the driver 300 Bahts!)There is free transport to the beach, but only every 3-4 hours. I checked in shortly after one of these had left, and wanted to get to the beach (2.2 km away) before dark.
The Western breakfast is not good, but the Thai/Asian breakfast is very good. I had 2 other meals at the restaurant. Both were quite good, but I was the only customer both times.
There was a stage that says it has live music, but there was none.

OK hotel close to Khao San.

Stayed at the Trang Hotel for 2 nights while in Bangkok. Convenient location near Khao San and away from all the noise. The hotel grounds are clean and there is a nice bar, restaurant, and swimming pool. The actual hotel rooms were disappointment though. There were holes in the sheets, lighting was poor, the shower somehow clogged and overflowed (though this was quickly resolved after a call to the front desk).

Overall: An okay place to stay for a few nights in Bangkok. Convenient location near Khao San. However, in my opinion, there are many nicer locations for a similar (or cheaper) price.

Needs improvement (but it's not terrible)

The hotel is cheaply but tastefully decorated. It was a comfortable place to stay but it should be managed&maintained better. Room was tidy & quite clean. Bed was comfortable. Location was fairly close to KaoSan Rd & the Grand Palace (for me walking distance). There is street food available on SamSen Rd & there is a 7-eleven nearby. I loved the pool (large with deep & shallow ends). I also loved the HOT shower (not luke warm as is common in Thailand). The blackout curtains are good. However, the hotel is very badly managed&maintained. Reception staff were unfriendly & unwelcoming. The concierge was VERY kind and helpful. Wifi was weak; OK for looking at websites but not for VOIP. No safe in room. Shampoo appeared to be partly used by previous guest. No soap provided. They provided two bath towels but no hand towels (usually you would expect two of each). The towels were very thin and poor quality, and breaking, too. They did not provide extra towels beside the pool so you need to take your room towel down with you. They ask you to leave the key at the front desk when you go out (which is common in some countries, but not in Thailand) although they don't enforce this. The Thai breakfast options were delicious but the western breakfast options were terrible! The breakfast area was very nice! Over all, the hotel was okay for what I paid, but if management and staff cared more, they could help it meet expected standards.

I loved this hotel and in particular the wonderful staff in the dining room. The hotel is very well kept with a beautiful pool and large, spacious and well appointed rooms. It's near Koh San road but in a quiet locale a bit away from the main area - so if you'd like very quiet nights - this is a great place for it. Food is excellent in the dining room and the staff always greats you with a smile and care.

Good hotel, 10min walk from ksr

The hotel was clean and the rooms really comfortable. They were bigger then expected. That is the same for the pool. Which is almost a must in this hot season in Bangkok. There is an 7/11 just across the road and koh san road is 10min walking. Not to far, but not in the busy part neither. The breakfast is ok. Only thing is we expected more from the staff. They are nice, but would't do anything extra then strict necessary. One day, we woke up late and had to ask twice for cleaning the room. Again, this is not really a problem but we have been used to better in Thailand. Extending also seemed a hassle so I ended up doing it online.

We stayed 2 nights at Trang. The staff was very nice and the pool was nice and cool — perfect after a hot day in the City. The last star is missing because of the not so perfect location and breakfast buffet (not terrible though)

Det man kan forvente til prisen

Hotellet er hyggeligt og drives af sødt personale. Poolen er til den kølige side, da den er overdækket. Værelsernes kvalitet er hvor der trækkes ned, selvom det alt i alt lever op til, hvad man forventer af tre stjerner. Krydser man den store vej syd for hotellet vil man opleve masser liv hele vejen til Bangkoks centrum

Bien si sabes a lo que vas. Zona bien, piscina increíble e instalaciones básicas. Es un hotel cómodo para pasar unos días sin grandes lujos con lo imprescindible y sin gastar mucho dinero. En mi experiencia, he estado 3 veces (que os pongan en el edificio de la piscina que está muy bien)

Единственный пожалуй отель, где я, будучи не брезгливым человеком, боялся к чему либо прикоснуться в ванной комнате. Грибок на плитке, видавшая всех Тутанхамонов сантехника, о двери вытирали ботинки, про плёнку в дУше я вообще промолчу. Снимали дешёвый номер. Бассейн неплохой. На ресепшене меняют деньги. Курс сносный.
