The property is very convenient and a good value for your money. The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was included in the price, and I could park (for a small fee) in one of their spots. It's not a luxury hotel with a decadent breakfast, but one knows that when one books. Was very happy with my stay there.

Good stay in Bonn

I stayed two nights in Bonn. The hotel was very well placed, a short walk from the Rhine, around the corner from the Opera house, and a few minutes walk from the old town with plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful

This was the most incredible hotel I ever stayed in. It had the most friendly, helpful, flexible personnel. One of the children with us developed a tooth ache -- Friday evening. While our Hungarian insurance told us to search on the internet, the receptionist of the hotel phoned around Bonn for about 30 min until he found a dentist who accepted us immediately.
The rooms were nice, and tastefully decorated, like the entire hotel. I especially liked the historic travel posters along the staircase.
The breakfast buffet was very good, the plates were filled up continuously.

Friendly service, basic amenities, basic set-up, my room faced a rather busy street but the windows kept noise out. It is small, basic and very conveniently located. Very friendly young stuff and surprisingly good coffee (really excellent, and I am picky) at the breakfast buffet.

Great Stay at a Great Value

My husband and I spent one night at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with our room. The double room was much bigger and in spotless condition than expected, given the reasonable price. The hotel is very central and close to all major sites. Excellent breakfast included and staff is super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The service is great at Hotel Rheinland, friendly and informative. We were greeted with coffee and tea, and answers to our questions about the area and airport transit. The breakfast is small but good. Rooms need a little updating, but were very clean.

Sorry, but the hotel is very outdated and uncomfortable. Only two tiny little parking spots for 9 Euro! The Bonn-Altstadt is great you have to see it.

Good value hotel with free wifi and continental breakfast. In an ok location- 5/20mins walk to old town, 5 min walk to Rhein. If you like hookha then it's surrounded by them! The staff were very friendly and helpful especially at breakfast which was good with choice of coffees as well as the traditional 'continental' type breakfast food- you won't go hungry! The rooms are spacious (mine was a twin) with a desk also. I was right by the lift and thought it would be noisy- it wasn't. Beds very comfy but the shower was a NIGHTMARE!! Either it was boiling hot or freezing cold! I had to wash in the few seconds it was lukewarm whilst going from these extremes! Not sure what they do when they 'service' the room other than make your bed and give you new towels-not taking the old ones away mind! I ended up with 8, even though I wanted to reuse mine to be green! Bins were not emptied nor empty bottles/dirty glasses removed. No AC but then I don't really like AC and it was OK to sleep- just hot getting dressed on a few occasions. Other than these last minor points I would recommend if on a budget and you need breakfast and wifi included in the price!

Perfect for our stay.

Hotel was ideal location for seeing everything, shopping restaurants and transport links. We were visiting our son who stays in Bonn and found Bonn easy to negotiate our way round. Staff were excellent, we asked for a kettle and they provided one along with cups, we had our own tea and coffee. Fridge in room was excellent. Room had everything we needed and was spotless, shower was very good. The breakfast was continental as expected but had a range of food and plenty of it, staff were attentive. This is a 3 star hotel and was perfect for our needs.

Hotel closed when I showed up!

I booked this hotel online when my client asked me to stay another night in Bonn. I showed up at the hotel around 12:15am local time, and the door was locked. I rang the buzzer and it went to an answering machine. I also called the hotel and it went to an answer machine. Note that for this review I set everything to \"3\" because there was no NA option available. I wish the hotel and hotels.com would be clear on the hours they're open to accept guests. Most hotels that I travel to have a reception that is open 24/7. It is a safety concern to be in a foreign country and be locked outside on the street. I am still awaiting a refund/reimbursement for the difference of my actual hotel stay that night.

Good value overall

The room was clean; the service was excellent; the breakfast buffet was good, if (surprise! surprise) very Continental in fare. On the downside, the rooms are tiny (as is quite usual for German hotel rooms, unless you wanted to spend ridiculous amounts of money), there is no AC, and the street outside is so noisy that opening the window while in the room is not an option. (They are really impressive windows, though, as you can hardly hear the noise at all when they're closed.)

the reception is at the 2nd floor (1st American), so this is not the Hilton, but for the rest an impeccable and still affordable little hotel. The room was definitely worth more than its price, and the breakfast was good and available until 11am (rather than improbable times like 9am): would definitely come back!

A Hotel for a Satisfying Stay

Got there and I though booking a double bedroom for myself would guarantee a bigger bed, however, I got a single with a twin sized bed. The hotel was basic. The room smaller than a cruise cabin. Strange place. Would not stay there again, nor I recommend anyone to stay there.

Saimme huoneen jo aikaisemmin aamupäivällä, kun menimme viemään laukkuja säilytykseen, se oli kiva yllätys! 😊 Huone oli kivan erilainen, paavi teemalla. Sänky tosin natisi kun kääntyili nukkuessa. Ei ollut laukuille telinettä, mikä oli harmi. Vesipullon tarjosivat talon puolesta, siitä plussaa. Sijainti hyvä ja aamupala ihan ok.

Sehr Retro und minimalistisch, aber super Lage

Lage perfekt zwischen Rhein und Fußgängerzone, sehr nette Rezeptionistin, ansonsten sehr schmuddeliges Exterieur, an lauter Hauptstraße, wirkt nicht wie ein Hotel, eher wie eine Privatunterkunft aus den 70er-Jahren. Einzelzimmer winzig ohne Klima, Ablagen teils noch mit klebrigen Resten vom Vorgänger, sonst aber sauber und relativ gemütlich, nachts einigermaßen ruhig. Frühstück lohnt sich aber nicht, nur industriell verpackte Supermarktware und wenig Auswahl.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, bietet jedoch keinen Parkraum für Fahrzeuge. Die umliegenden Parkgaragen sind SEHR teuer; in den umliegenden Straßen kann man nicht parken!
Das Zimmr war übermäßig mit \"Schnick-Schnack\" vollgestellt, so dass es kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten gab bzw. minimalen Stauraum...sehr unpraktisch.
Ordentlich geputzt (z.B. unter dem Bett) wurde erst nach Aufforderung.
Das Frühstücksbüffett bot jeden Tag das gleiche; keine
Abwechslung.
Es gibt keine Klimaanlage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten, in welches die Sonne schien...also war es sehr sehr warm. Die Zimmer nach vorne liegen an der Straße
und sind sehr laut.
Die Getränkeauswahl auf der Speisekarte wurde ebenfalls nicht erfüllt; die meisten Getränke waren gerade nicht vorrätig.

Positiv war das sehr freundiche Personal.

Wir haben eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht und waren absolut zufrieden! Die Lage ist genial. Ob man am Rhein spazieren möchte oder das Zentrum erreichen will, alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar und liegt praktisch vor der Tür. Unser Zimmer hatte das Motto \"Frankreich\", also es war entsprechend eingerichtet und hatte einen großen Balkon. Das Bett war sehr bequem! Obwohl das Zimmer zur Straße gerichtet war gab es kaum Lärm und wir konnten wunderbar ausschlafen. Dazu noch wurden wir freundlich empfangen und vom Einchecken bis zur Abreise bestens betreut! Beim nächsten Besuch in Bonn gern wieder dort!

Authentischer Aufenthalt in der Bundesstadt Bonn

Dieses Hotel ist eine echte Überraschung. Die Einrichtung und Dekoration ist liebevoll und mit vielen kleinen Details zusammengestellt. An der Rezeption wurden wir sehr nett empfangen. Bei Fragen wurde uns sofort und unproblematisch geholfen. Bei der Abreise hatten wir sogar noch die Möglichkeit für einen kleinen Plausch - so etwas erlebt man in größeren (Ketten-)Häusern selten.
Auf der Rückseite des Hotels stehen zwei günstig zu buchende Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Ein Parkhaus ist in direkter Umgebung.
Alles in allem, ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Günstige Lage, 2 Haltestellen vom Hbf. und trotz Hauptverkehrsstraße super dichte Zimmerfenster. Gutes Miittelklassehotel, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das wird mit Freundlichkeit und einem ganz eigenen Flair wettgemacht. Frühstückswünsche werden berücksichtigt. Prima heißes Wasser zum Duschen, auch in den oberen Etagen. Frühstücksbuffet gut sortiert und schnell nachgelegt. Außenwerbung sehr zurückhaltend, fast wäre ich daran vorbei gelaufen.

Fint hotel i et multkulti-kvarter

Det bedste ved hotellet er den centrale beliggenhed lige ved teatret og broen over Rhinen i et kvarter med multietnisk touch - vandpibebarer og kebabsteder. Hotellet er simpelt, men i fin stand. Personalet er venligt og morgenmaden er ok. Vi var heldige at få et værelse på femte sal med balkon. Det var ret varmt - det var under hedebølgen. Men der var aircondition, og så kunne vi sidder ude på balkonen og se ned på trafikken og folkene på Berliner Freiheit, når det var blevet svalt nok til det.

Simple and comfortable

This is a very nice hotel just a stone throw from Bonn downtown. The rooms are quite small, but comfortable enough for a nice stay. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. the staff allways present and friendly. Very good price/quality relation.
