Stayed here with family for an event. Will stay here anytime I am back in Bonn. Great neighborhood with lots of dining and shopping options. The greek restaurant across the street is fantastic and it is wonderful to spent the evening in their back garden under the grapes. The nearby botanical garden is a place of peace and wonder and the walk to the university is leads you through Bonn’s most charming neighborhoods. If you don’t want to walk there is also a very frequent bus.
Can’t say enough about just how gemütlich the hotel is. The common spaces and very generous - great to hang out in for some downtime or conversation, room feels safe and clean and little balcony is great. Staff was welcoming and herzlich.

Hot water was an issue for several days. We waited for a long time for hot water. Even when it was hot it was unsteady, at times turning cold. the breakfast was nice but the breakfast seating was eclectic and uncomfortable.
The staff was nice and helpful but there was never housekeeping... we had the same (1) towel all week. The bed was okay... most of the pillows were small decorative pillows and not comfortable. To be fair... there was a second pillow in the closet which I eventually found. The location was really good. i like Popplesdorf.

Had a good experience at this hotel. We only stayed for a few days, but found it to be clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The breakfast was good, staff were very friendly, and location was convenient to lots of restaurants. My fiancee and I did not appreciate that the bed only had two small blankets instead of one large one, but I think this may be a European thing? (We are American). Overall, a good value for the price.

Mini but reasonably priced hotel

It was good but felt something were missing. The rooms are small with not having any quick tea facilities. No room service food. Staffs are good but little mechanical type.

Very good hotel, a bit far from the city centre

This is a very good hotel that is modern, very clean and organised. Staff were very helpful. The only thing I would complain about is internet access: only 30 minutes for free each day, provided you have a mobile phone for SMS verification (!). Breakfast was good, especially the hot drinks from an espresso-like machine, although the variety of food could be improved (e.g. add some sweet pastries).

Gemütliches und sauberes Zimmer, angenehm harte Matratze.

Negativ: viel zu kleiner Duschvorhang, man setzt das Bad unter Wasser (hübsch ist nicht alles), keine Aufhängmöglichkeit im Bad für Handtücher, Handtuchhalter hing abgebrochen neben dem Waschbecken.

Positiv: sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, absolut süß eingerichtet und zum Wohl fühlen

Todos los años vamos a una convención en Bonn y siempre vamos al mismo hotel, tiene un encanto especial, las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y con detalles de la Tía Alma, todas las habitaciones tienen balcón y puedes ir con perritos, además está muy cerca de una zona con restaurantes y bares.

Das Hotel ist zwar nicht das Neueste, das Personal war sehr hilfreich und freundlich, das angebotene Frühstück relativ günstig im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels. Die Umgebung ist sehr sehr ruhig, man ist zu Fuß sehr schnell bei vielen kleine Lokalen und in die Innenstadt von Bonn braucht man auch nicht sehr lange. sehr schön fanden wir den kleinen Balkon des Zimmers.
Da habe ich in 5-Sterne Hotels schon schlechter übernachtet. Für eine Kurzaufenthalt würde ich da immer wieder übernachten wollen.

Das Hotel war einfach toll. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war ideal, nahe am Zentrum, Bonn-Poppelsdorf bietet viele kleine Bistros und Restaurants. Dort war ich definitiv nicht das letzte Mal. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Bonn wird es wieder Tante ALMA‘s Hotel sein👍😀

Nettes Hotel, gut gelegen

Zimmer war sehr gut, Frühstück ausbaufähig, dafür aber sehr günstig. Rezeption war bei Anreise nicht besetzt. Schlüsselkarte erhielten wir erst durch einen Anruf beim Sicherheitsdienst. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal gleich den Code verschicken.

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage . Geschmackvll eingerichtet , sauber und modern . Bad ist auch sehr gut , vielleicht etwas klein , aber es war OK . Früstück war auch sehr gut . Frühstücksraum war auch sehr ansprechend und das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und schmackhaft .
