We stayed for 4 nights and we had to switch rooms as the drains in the bathroom had a terrible smell. The staff member at the desk, Nithyaa was excellent and resolved our issue promptly.

The room needs to adjust the plumbing. Granted I may not understand how it works it a new country, but because all the drains were connected with no pre trap, the stagnant water from the drains would overtake the bathroom. The bedroom itself as well had a musty smell from the AC.

The toilet was okay with good water pressure but unfortunately there was no bidet, also, the toilet has a funny smell. The hotel is conveniently located 2 minutes walk to the MRT and buses stop outside. The rooms were a bit small especially the shower but for a transit stay, it was fine. Breakfast was a bit disappointing due to lack of variety. Food was also lukewarm and not hot. No option for hot chocolate or herbal teas, that would have to be purchased separately. A parent had to pay for her toddler to have breakfast and all he wanted was milk in his bottle, she was told by staff that she could not do so.. It was a waste of money as the child did not eat. Not very family friendly in my opinion and after breakfast that milk would be thrown away.

Customer service at the check out was bad. No smile and rude. After the front desk person asked what the customer needs, she just handed over to her coworker to do the job and without telling the customer what's going on. It happened twice. When I went back for the Reciept, she did it again. She asked what's the matter and then handed over to her coworker to do without saying anything to me so i can move over. Customer service was bad.

V Lavender is primarily useful as a short term doss house because it is super handy to the airport MRT line. The bed was comfy enough for a couple of hours sleep before heading back out to the airport. Note that MRT trains do not start until 6am.
