The hotel is nice, the staff were great and in a perfect world I would stay again. My only issue (which it’s not even an issue) is the hotel is far outside of the city. But if you do not mind a 10-15 walk to and from the train station then youll be fine! Get your steps in ☺️

They do not have a spa as advertised, they are an hour and a half away from Barcelona and there are no taxis that ride up there so you're stuck with public transport. Moreover all of their amenities are 'extras' and are not included in the price of the nights.

Although the hotel was generally OK, they had no iron/iron table/ kettle facilities. We also paid in advance, and extra to allow us to cancel, however upon reaching there we realised we booked the incorrect location. The staff informed us that because we had paid in advance, we were no longer able to cancel/transfer our booking any longer.

Everything about this hotel was great. The only thing I didn’t like was that on Expedia it states the hotel has soundproof rooms and that isn’t true. It has the thinnest walls if possible. Every morning very early, the maids would bang around the rooms next to us and wake us up as early as 7am. Some days we needed to relax and just sleep in but that was impossible to do. It was as if the maids wanted us to wake up so that they may clean and that was the only way they knew how.

The actual building was attractive and spacious. Located in a lovey part of Granollers. Located close to train station. Staff were friendly , helpful and approachable.
The negative aspects were the spa is not actually in the hotel, you have to walk outside to get there.
The restaurant had too many flies , all over the tables and coming onto your food. At breakfast the food is left uncovered , the flies are all over the food and the staff do not appear to be concerned by this. Although I paid for breakfast as part of my booking, I could not eat it due to the amount of flies on the food.

The hotel is about 45 minutes away from The Barcelona centre, I would advise you to get a rental car as it would be easier to get around and there is free parking at the hotel. I also didn’t see any cab/ bus stations close by.   The hotel is 2/3 stars at best. Very basic rooms the pictures make it look a lot more modern than it really is and there’s pretty much no lighting. The beds do have wheels so they might move around a bit. There’s nothing in the minibar fridge but water which is free. The air condition doesn’t really blow that much air so the room can become warm quite quickly which is uncomfortable and the windows open no more than 3cm (safety feature).   We got breakfast included but to be honest was worthless as the breakfast wasn’t up to par and there was not a lot to choose from in all honesty.   Do be careful, when we booked the hotel we asked for a double bed, but were given a room with 2 single beds :/ I had to go back to the check in desk to rectify this.
It does take a while to check in I believe it took us about 15mins to get through it all.   Besides this, the room was (basic) cleaned every day.   
I think a few bits can be done to make this hotel a solid 3+ stars, renovations of the room, more lighting in the rooms, better quality of breakfast and definitely more attention to the grounds as I had to look beyond the dusty car park daily to find my decent view from my window.
  I won’t be returning just because we know what we like and this wasn’t it :)

The location is about 45 minutes from Barcelona city centre and unless you are a quick learner with bus routes and metro services your knackered. The hotel itself is very clean however it’s more of a business type hotel and I felt that because I didn’t look business type I was there for an exploring holiday I was getting funny looks. The room amenities was brilliant supplying soap,shampoo,conditioner etc. There was no balcony only one massive window. And I never got to use the pool because I had to pay an extra €10. Overall the location and staff attitude was a let down.

Affordable, Convenient, & Very Nice!

We stayed here while racing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. It is within a very short driving distance and easy to get to. The staff is very friendly and the grounds and very clean. The outside isn't anything flashy which is fine and inside is very nice. There's also plenty of on-site parking which is a big plus. The breakfast is also good. It's within walking distance to the city center and offers some nice dining options in the area. We will definitely be staying here anytime we visit this area.

I was very disappointed as the fact the the staff were terrible, i spoke to then in English but they pretended that they didnt speak english 10 minute later i caught them talking english then they changed it back to spanish. on the first night i woke up to a cockroach crawling in my bathroom which i have pictures of and when i spoke to them about it nothing was put in place for it, the continue to say they dont know why it was there, the rooms dont look like the pictures. Furthemore, the air conditioning broke and the ceiling was leaking in the bathroom once they opened it liters apon liter of water came pouring down, the staff are very very rude. i do not recommend this hotel one bit.

My first impressions were good , but one of the guys that work there was really flirty. And made me feel so uncomfortable i moved to a different hotel im not sure if he was security or what he does. He would see me and blow kisess one time he actually turned up to my room and bare in mind i was solo traveller and he tried to kiss me told me im his girlfriend i felt really uncomfortable and would not recommend staying this hotel if your a female alone.

Gym pictured with the hotel cost 5 £ and was not included in my stay. But for 5£ you get full use of the gym and amenities. Worth it! Train ride from airport, easy, fast,affordable. Must go to \"La Rocca Village\" shopping center, a short bus ride. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is not close to anything. It is about a 25 minute walk to the train station and is up hill on the way back. Taxis are not at the train station and when you call they don't show up for an hour or more. It is also about a 30-40 minute train ride to get to Barcelona. It is not easy to find out the train times or the platform they leave from. Not very convenient if you are wanting to be in Barcelona for most of your time.

The room was really big and spacious with really comfortable beds and a decent sized balcony. It’s a lovely hotel. We didn’t book breakfast but were told at check in we could pay to eat at the restaurant on site. We chose to do this one of the days and no one tended to us or acknowledged us so we left. Also no ironing facilities in the bedroom. You had to pay for a separate ironing service. We also had one person on the front desk who couldn’t direct us to Reus Airport where we needed to fly from. Either there was a language barrier or she didn’t know where it was. We ended up getting so lost and paying nearly €150 in a taxi to get back to the airport So we wouldn’t be late for our flight.

This hotel (room,cleanliness, staff and amenities) is very good.The room is clean,cozy and spacious. Staff are friendly and accomodating. Breakfast buffet is ok. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on our first night...unfortunately, there's not much choice. The only issue is,it is over an hour travel (train) from the hotel to central Barcelona,then from the train station you need to walk for 15mins to the hotel or you can take a taxi which costs 7-8 Euro.

The tecnology was really old, since the electricity instalations to the conditions of the room, bathroom, decoration, access points and all... It needs URGENT renovation, but please do not try it in the high periods of vacations like august like you seem to be doing! The interior pool was under renovation/ reconstruction and we were not informed by email or anything, so no interior pool for us... And the extrior one was really small for the amount of people using it... The room TV lacked more chanels in english... Just had 2 or something like that... The choice was really limited and almost all in spanish... We passed here a entire week and one of the days the room cleaning service was ignored... The items for personal use at the bathroom were scarce. The breakfast lack variety for the level of stars too... In fact I was hosted in many 3 stars hotels before in which facilities, breakfast and technology were very higher than the ones we find here! I'm surprised this hotel has 4 stars... :/ About the attendance, in general, the people did not seem really empatethic and seem to strugle to speak english...We only felt well \"received\" by one of the young ladies at the reception point who talked to us about the city and was really pleasant... The space has potential but needs many improvements! :)

It’s close to the train station and bus garage that takes you directly into Barcelona centre. It’s a nice location and pleasant surroundings. Staff were friendly but only a few spoke English. The overall hotel was nice but the room that we stayed in was quite old fashioned as in it had brown wardrobes and door frames. (Maybe my expectations were just really high because hotels in my country are very modern) The room wasn’t sound proof because it’s floor boards and at night we could hear the people upstairs and in our corridor. The bed head board was not attractive, the bathroom was not modern either but ok. The room had a small TV that ONLY had 3/4 news/business English speaking channels. I know they speak Spanish but they could have found a way to accommodate the English speaking customers by having a few entertainment channels in English also or at least subtitles in English or perhaps even internet on the TV’s so that we can go on YouTube etc. The indoor swimming pool was under construction while we were there so we had to use the cold outdoor pool which was extremely cold lol. The hotel was modern and attractive apart from the rooms which were basic but to be honest we were not there that much throughout the day but the longer we stayed the more we got accustomed to it. Their Club sandwich in the restaurant is the bomb ! Overall a nice hotel and a nice experience for my first time in Barcelona !

Very nice view from window of 4th floor. Room is clean. Bathroom tile grout had some mold. Very low price. I still wonder why it was so inexpensive. Perhaps because it was in an inconvenient location about 15 min drive from Barcelona center. The bottom line is that, for the next trip to Barcelona, I would definitely try to book this one.

We like very much the room and front desk launch. They have a cafeteria and a restaurant( very good) just the restaurant people are not that friendly. Just one guy was really nice. The gym was really great but just do t go to the outside pool .. the Mosquitoes will eat you.( no joke).
They have an inside pool too. Use that one instead. Nice town. Close by there is a laundry place and if you have kids across the street a playground with a nice clean and delicious restaurant by it.

Wonderful hotel, wanted to stay longer

What a lovely find this wonderful hotel was on our long journey from Bristol to Barcelona. Having booked an afternoon sailing from Barcelona to Menorca we wanted to get pretty close but, as the car was heavily laden with our belongings also wanted a hotel with a car-park that wasn't going to break the bank. The reviews were a little mixed - many people mentioning noisy rooms, something that is my worst nightmare! We need not have worried, this hotel is wonderful. Perched on a hill-top looking out over the city the hotel was easy to find. We checked in quickly and easily and the friendly receptionist also gave us a map of the city as well as advice about how to find everything in the hotel. The facilities, if you want them, are excellent. We were sorely tempted to linger in the outdoor pool however we were late arriving and also wanted to stretch our legs. Although there was a restaurant and cafe in the hotel we decided to wander into town. The city is absolutely delightful and has a real buzz, we really enjoyed ourselves. On our return our delightful (huge) room had been cooled by the quiet, efficient air con. The (huge) bed was delightfully comfortable and the (huge) bathroom had everything we needed. We had the best night's sleep of our journey, woke late and wandered sleepily down to breakfast. This was absolutely delicious, again the best hotel breakfast we have had for some time. Definitely recommended - you will enjoy!

Noisy hotel late into the night (midnight to 1am). Could hear many doors slamming, people movement, and what sounded like a late night party right. Also arrived to find aircon was not turned on, and with black curtains (why not use white to reflect heat) room was extremely hot uncomfortable. Room was otherwise very well maintained and comfortable. Good desk for working, spacious and good quality. Service was good, but restaurant options I found limited. On site parking, but busy. Would consider using again, but noise at night was disturbing.

last year I was staying in this hotel and was happy with my stay in it.This year I am very disappoint : first it was very old room- damage walls and condition of the room was bad. Second the floor we was staying was very noisy- music and hotel reconstruction was all night along.After 12.20am I cannot sleep because of the noise of the hummer and doors open and close all night long.I went to the front desc and complain that I cannot sleep because it is very noisy- front dest did nothing to fix the problem.12 am track came to hotel and deliver blankets and towel -all that delivery I hear for over hour.Very unhappy

This hotel is far from Barcelona and there are no concierge services (i.e. Restaurant reservations, day tour reservations, etc. The walls are extremely thin and so you can hear everything from the outside of your room, making it difficult to sleep. It's a clean but very basic hotel.

Nice place for a quick stop.

We were on our way back to Barcelona after travelling up north and this was a perfect place to stop before continuing. Service was quick and efficient. You have access to the onsite gym that is big with lots a facilities. Hotel is located about 10mins walk from the center so the location was good for us.

I didn't find the hotel staff too enthusiastically eager to help. We stayed there to shop at Larocca Village and instead of being directed to the appropriate bus station, we were told to take a taxi which would have cost us an arm and a leg. I would not stay here again. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. Breakfast is similar to other places.

Nice hotel

We stayed four nights. The hotel is nice, but the air conditioning barely seemed to work and couldn't be adjusted very much. The room received western sun and the air conditioning seemed barely able to cope with it. This was very disappointing after a full day of sight seeing in the heat and a long walk up a steep hill.

The staff were nice and helpful.

Great hotel. Good facilities.

My kids and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great value for money. Great food, both breakfast and dinner.
The issues we had were the pillows! They were awful!! We're still suffering from neck pains so would advice readers of this comment to ask for better pillows. The bathroom wasn't great either but I guess it's all you can get for a 4* hotel.
Overall, not a bad hotel so would recommend.

Nice town.

It is a loverly spot to stay if you are not wanting the hype of Barcelona. It is a walk to the station though. The bed is huge.Windows open and the location quite handy to the town if you dont mind a walk.

Excellent Hotel, Breathtaking view.

Love this hotel. I have nothing bad to say about it. Clean, friendly & helpful staff, great food. We he ought we would be closer to Barcelona, but it's about 30 minutes away by train. No biggie though. We had booked this particular hotel to meet up with family who was also staying there whom we hadn't seen in years who actually live in another country from us. We had our toddler with us and he enjoyed the facility as well.

Would stay again.

Large clean hotel, comfortable room with large bathroom. Gran Centre is only a 10 minute walk away where you will find lot's of shops that are opened until 8.30pm. You will also find restuarants and bars.
