It's 30 minutes outside of Barcelona and it's totally worth it ! The hotel is very nice with modern fixtures, but the best part of this hotel isn't the physical building, it's the employees !

When we arrived, the two girls at the front desk were AWESOME. and actually all of the employees were great & helped us with all of our requests.

One thing you must understand, which I explained a few times to those traveling with me, don't judge a hotel by what you're used to in your country. At home all hotels have a mini fridge & microwave in the room, plus an ice machine somewhere in the hotel.

I made sure our room had a/c before I booked it but I learned that having an a/c and being able to use it, are two different things. Let me explain.

Even when it says that a room has a/c, it's not like in the USA where you control the room temperature. Our rooms weren't as cold as we wanted them and a quick call to the front desk revealed why. They have an a/c system but the hotel will only turn on the cold part in summer. So when we arrived on a warm week in almost Spring, the heater worked but the a/c cooling was turned off, so we had to open a window at night to cool down our room and it would stay cool (not cold) during the day because they have big strong windows that seal airtight as a ship.

We'll be going back soon to say hi again, but we'll come in full summer so we can use the a/c correctly LOL.

Staff supportive overall, however, one young male member of staff was extremely rude. Made a mistake with food order then started huffing and puffing, waving arms around and slamming stuff.

Hotel also out of the way, can take over an hour to get to main part of Barcelona. Train line that the hotel is on is extremely unreliable

Overall a good place to stay for the price. Unfortunately the window in the room hardly opens making it difficult to get any fresh air in.

The poor ventilation in the bathroom means that most of the steam ends up spreading around the room and with the window issue...

Everything else was great, especially the staff, who were super welcoming and kind.

Functional room, no frills, which was the expectation. Staff was friendly and personable. Breakfast/ snack bar was pretty good and inexpensive. I did email a couple questions 3 wewks prior to arrival and got no response. My only real complaint is the pillows- only 1 per person and quality was low, practically not a pillow at all. The sign in the room stated you could request another pillow, but would cost €30!

The fan in the room gave out hot air rather than cold. Even while being set on cold air.

What a superb hotel.
Outside the expense of Barcelona City but excellent public transport links.
I am picky, I know that, but I am actually at a loss to.find anything wrong at all. Coulsnt even trip them up with fluff in the extractor fan!
Shampoo and shower gel provided. The breakfast was a real treat. The gin and tonic was a perfect way to end the day. We dont often repeat visit, bit we will be back next year.

We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. Located 25 minutes drive from Barcelona city centre. 2 super markets and several restaurants with in 200 meters. Breakfast was good. Tidy hotel, well maintained rooms. Street parking is free or you can pay 8 hours for 24 hours in basement parking.

The check-in staff were very helpful. The room was fine. At the time of booking, I didn't know how far away it was from Barcelona itself. We just stayed there the last two nights of our vacation, so it was quite a trip to get to the airport. One positive was the proximity to a large grocery store to get snacks for the trip!

We had a great stay of 3 nights. Gated parking is available for a price, great location near AP7 and Barcelona. Grocery stores a walking distance away and a restaurant in the hotel. The room was clean and quiet.

Here’s my honest opinion; don’t you ever book this hotel if your a turist and want to enjoy your time. This place is far from all the mayor attractions in Barcelona, had to take two trains and a bus for almost 2 hours to get to the center of Barcelona, and that was back and forth… if you speak english the staff will look at you like you are a weird person out of the planet, thank God i speak fluid spanish ! Floor was dirty, i walked barefoot and i woke up with my feel all dark and dirty, do they even mop and clean this place ? Seriously. If you decide to take a walk around you won’t find any good restaurants near by, i had to order uber eats, the food was terrible as well. Please do yourself a favor, spend a couple extra dollars and book you a nicer hotel with welcoming staff and cleaner rooms !!! I hope y’all find my review helpful

After spending nearly £100 on a double bed for 1 night, the quality of the room did not equal the price I paid. It was far too expensive and poor quality. Extremely disappointed with the car park service. The front door didn’t even open and it nearly dropped on top of my car.

Good location for a trip from UK to south Spain.
Just off motorway, safe underground parking. Hotel is dog friendly, we stop here with our staffy and he loves it.
Can’t ask for more for the money. Overall, it’s perfect for a long journey pit stop.

I stay 6 night, room it's comfortable, the area it's very quiet but a little bit fare to Barcelona. Chicken it's open every time, and it's possible eat when you want. The choice it's not to much and the quality of the food not to hight. It's good hotel, if I have to come back I consider to go there one more time.

It’s a basic hotel but the ac didn’t seem to cool the room properly and the staff didn’t seem to be so fluent in English, which isn’t a problem for me as I’m trying to learn Spanish but for people who don’t speak any Spanish may struggle.

Largely a good stay

This was my second time staying at the Ibis Mollet and once again it was largely a good stay. My room was generously sized, clean and with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was 7 euros and perfectly adequate, and the staff were all really friendly and helpful.

On the downside the dinner menu is very limited and the food not good. I ordered a ham pizza and the pizza that arrived had clearly just been microwaved and then had cold ham stuck on top of it. The ham on my pizza looked exactly like the ham they served at breakfast, which clearly shouldn't be the case.

I also had to get my room card reactived twice, the first time apparently because I had over 300 euros outstanding. It would have been helpful if someone had told me about this before I went upstairs and found my key card didn't work. And the second time yet again my key card wouldn't work about 45 minutes before check out.

And perhaps unfortunatley I ended up with a disabled wetroom which flooded every time I had a shower. It was also missing a hand towel rail and a shelf in the shower area.

The hotel is nice, average and basic. It has the necessities, bed is quite comfortable, bathroom nice size and room is clean (cleaned daily). TV is nice too. Some storage space but not much. Only complaint is that there is no mini fridge. Not much around the hotel, very quiet but we rented a car so it was fine and easy to drive to nearby towns and Barcelona. Would recommend if you want a cheap hotel a 20 min drive to Barcelona.

Completely far away from the centre of Barcelona. Ruined our days there as getting to and from the centre of Barcelona was €90 per Uber journey which is ridiculous. Nearest bus stop is 15 minute walk. No trains nearby, expect for Santa Rosa which is a 25 minute walk. Room was facing the motorway which prevented us from having a decent sleep. Housekeepers were interruptive and demanded to clean at a certain time, no regards to when you’re sleeping although there is a “do not disturb” sign. Lacked basic hotel necessities, such as a safe, felt scared for our belongings as people had easy access to our room. Tv kept glitching, horrible area to have a hotel in. It was a really ghetto and random area. I would not suggest this particular hotel area to anyone looking to visit Barcelona. Horrid 7 days stay

The hotel room was extremely and cramped. It seems as if everything in the hotel was squeaky, the toilet and the tub. Seems like it's a common thing for hotels in Europe not to offer iron boards or irons. We called asking for towels and were told the hotel doesn't offer room service and we had to go downstairs to get it. I didn't realize requesting towels were considered room service. I will say the best we're extremely comfortable. The minute we laid our heads down we were asleep within a matter of minutes. Can't really comment on anything else in regards to the fact it. The area seemed fine overall since there's a nice supermarket across the street you can use to purchase basic necessities.

Good housing area near supermarket with superb supplies of excellent wines, some at 70 cents/litre
great walking streets, too far from inner city to get to Gaudi Barcelona easily. Excellent breakfast, free.

Nice hotel but no were near Barcelona

Hotel was lovely but when getting in a taxi from the airport we were notified that were the hotel is based is not even classed to them as Barcelona so it cost us 70 Euros and a 45 minute drive to get there.

Check in was fine staff were lovely and hotel was nice apart from the bed not being very comfy but I am sure it would have been okay for other people it was just not to my preference.

Major down fall was there was literally nothing to do in the area there was 2 super markets and a couple of cafes that is all we ended up getting snakes from the hotel which weren't cheap.

All in all loved the holiday but would stay on mollett with out renting a car as it split out holiday being so far way x

We were going to Moto GP at Catalunya circuit. The hotel is perfectly located close to the circuit. It's a very new hotel and just off the main road so easy to find ( with help of our sat nav) really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, and big enough for our needs. We stayed 2 nights.

We came to this hotel to stay for 3 nights during the Moto GP. Location great for the circuit de Catalunya but otherwise a fairly residential area. Some shops and restaurants but not much else. Hotel lovely, very impressed with cleanliness, staff and breakfast was great. Would return for Moto GP next year.

Budget Hotel with Helpful Staff

This hotel is a Budget Hotel, but the rooms were clean, the bathroom was clean with a bath with shower over, shower temp was a bit dodgy kept having to readjust every 30 mins, could not hear the motorway nearby. The WiFi was terrible though, even when we paid for the better one it was awful so if you need Wi Fi for business probably not the best place to stay. It was the F1 weekend and the hotel was busy but all the staff were very helpful and friendly, even when they ran out of a number of items on the menu, there are a few burger and hotdog places and managed to find a few restaurants in the town within walking distance. Supermarkets handy for things like water and other drinks.

Loved it. It was perfect for our business needs - a lovely clean and modern room, plus a lovely restaurant and bar. If you're working to a budget but want a convivial atmosphere this is a great place to stay, and if you're going to the motor racing, this could not be handier. Great view over the motorway too!

Lovely hotel. Clean and very well situated for travelling through Spain and France from the ferry. Secure car park.
Our only complaint was that the staff working on the reception and in the restaurant were very overworked. There were two people trying to book people in on reception and take orders and serve the meals!
We would definitely stay there again!
