The hotel is good enough, the beds are comfortable and the room is very spacious. The room lacks a minibar and a safe box, though. The staff was friendly and the hotel is very quiet, both inside and outside, as it has soundproof windows. The A/C worked well and came in handy during our stay in the summer time. The neighborhood is nice, with enough restaurants and services around. The room was very clean, but I found hair in the bathroom when I first arrived and also after cleaning services. The hotel is within walking distance from two different metro stations, but even by subway it takes a long time to get to and from the train station, the city center and main tourist attractions, so keep that in mind if you're staying here.

I spent two weeks here in August 2023 to visit my daughter who studies in Barcelona. The attention that the staff provides is really outstanding, from the interns doing rotations at the front desk to the fixed staff working there including the staff at the bar, at the restaurant and the management staff. Everybody goes out of their way to make sure your stay will be unforgettable. Arriving at 11:00 am and finding a room ready for me (when the check in time was at 14:00) is something to be grateful for. The rooms are impeccably clean and with modern equipment. The WiFi is fast and easy to connect to. Nothing failed during those two weeks. At about half the stay I was approached by some of the management staff because apparently there was a water leak above my room (I never noticed anything). The changed me to another room and graciously provided me with a voucher for two free drinks at the bar.
Really the stay at this property has been amazing in a trip that had to be perfect and special, and the people at Ibis did all they could to make sure that was how it would turned out. Kudos to this hotel.
Of course it is worth to stay here. At the end of the day, who cares if there is no pool or gym? What was really necessary (clean rooms and excellent attention) was there. And all with a very accessible price.
I cannot recommend this property enough.

I stayed in this hotel with my friend.. its a very nice hotel and very clean..

the area is a little bit far from the center but it wouldn't be an issue since the subway can drop you 500 meters away from the hotel but keep in mind that subways are available from 5:am to midnight (12:00am) otherwise you will need to use certain buses or Uber...
I didn't use uber in barcelona because public transportation is excellent

breakfast is good but I would suggest more egg based options..

rooms do not include safe boxes...

the staff are very professional and the area is good

all in all it was a pleasant experience and I give it the five stars 🌟

Hotel was in a built up area with shops and restaurants around- of a fairly basic nature.
The car park provided the hotel is 10 Euro per night, and down tight winding bend to level minus 4.
Breakfast was a little disappointing, but not bad for 7 Euro.

The hotel is rated low as it could so easily have been better with better management. Terible directions to the distant parking given by reception staff.A small thing but frustrating when you are tired . Why not have a small printed map showing where it is ? Terrible food in the cafe ( NOT a restaurant)

Great Stay and good value

The hotel offers a high standard of comfort plus a good location for visiting Barcelona.During our stay we tried the restaurant which was very disappointing, although breakfast was okay and good value. Car parking is under the hotel which costs around 10 euro's a day and is easy to access. We will certainly try ibis hotels in the future if they continue to offer such good quality.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Like many ibis hotels, it was very nice, very clean and ... The staff was very helpful and nice. The only problems was that
The hotel was almost far from city center (about 25 mins by train) plus about 7-8 mins walk to get to the station. It also didn't have mini bar.

Located on the Eastern side of Barcelona city and takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach by metro from Main Rail station, Sant Estacio to Santa Coloma.

Good value and location

This is a good choice for Barcelona if you are travelling by car. It is outside the main city but located very close to two metro lines that take you downtown, via the Sagrada Familia. You don't have to fight the city traffic and the parking rate is reasonable. The hotel is very new and the rooms are nice, but small - but you get what you pay for. Overall we were pleased with one significant exception that appears to be an Accor Hotel's issue - lousy internet. Accor needs to get with the times and provide good internet service. It advertises free internet, but the fine print is that this is limited to 256 kb. In our case we were given unlimited internet, but the speed is quite limiting - forget downloading anything but text. In addition, the connect only allows one device to be connected at a time. On this, Accor is way out of step with the times.

You get what you pay for - but in a positive way. Comfy beds and pillows, close to 3 tube stations, very nice staff. Hotel was very clean! And breakfast was well worth 7.5! Recommended.

business trip to Barcelona

We stayed for business in Barcelona. The hotel was far from the venue of our event was but the subway system makes this a non issue. Surroundings are OK middle class residences and a few businesses. Hotel facilities brand new. You need to keep in mind budget european hotels dont have all the amenities a US equivalent Hotel has. But at the time we booked there were no available hotels in Barcelona since the event we attended in February brings aprox 80.000 people from all over the world, so the pricing and convenience is worth it. Recommended even for leisure since you dont spend much time at the hotel anyway.

Es ist lärmig an dieser Strasse - die Fenster isolieren zu wenig. Einschlafen war somit etwas schwierig.

Zudem könnte man die Duschbrausen mal entkalken oder erneuern.

Auch wenn alles sehr sauber war, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück gut, würden wir in Zukunft ein anderes Hotel wählen
