5 star service. Great boutique hotel in the gothic quarter. The top shelf mini bar refilled daily and free of charge, the coffee machine and room coffee options was a lovely bonus, great roof top, breakfast was amazing and the service. The gift at the end of our trip icing on the cake. My only feedback would be how dark the rooms are which I get is the vibe but it would nice for a brighter light option.

This is an excellent hotel in a great location. It is close to the vibrant restaurant, tapas, and pintxos food bar area.

Great staff and service experience in all interactions.

An eco-friendly approach is integrated into their servicing and environmental management.

San Sebastian is a fantastic place to visit. When I return, I will not look elsewhere for a place to stay.

I’ve stayed at many hotels throughout the world, but the Wettmore was the quietest hotel I’ve ever experienced. Importantly, the staff were fantastic! We had issues with our travel and they worked tirelessly to solve our problems. Absolutely an A++ effort!

We’ve always stayed at bigger hotel properties while on vacation. This time, we wanted to try a smaller, boutique style hotel. We’re so happy we did. The Wittmore is a charming and beautiful place, but it’s the staff that makes it shine. They went out of their way to be helpful, but not overbearing. From placing dinner reservations, to reserving cabs, to helping us locate, and then retrieve a missing credit card; we couldn’t have been more pleased. Dinner at the property was delicious, but again, the staff made the night. Thank you staff at the Wittmore. You made our short stay so memorable.

This is a hidden gem tucked away on a quiet side street with a lovely staff and a great restaurant on site near lots of cafes and restaurants. My only complaints were that our room was dark and I missed the sunlight in the morning and breakfast was quite expensive (and added to the room charge). Otherwise this place is a find.

Wonderful hotel!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Found down an adorable alley, the setting and hotel itself are wonderful. The staff were so gracious with every part of the trip. There was a wonderful nightly turndown with water and delicious chocolate. I would come back again in a heartbeat.

The room was absolutely fantastic! Please be aware if you stay here and come in early from the port or airport, you will not be able to receive an early check in.

I finally had to ask the front desk to please see if a room has opened up, and there were 2 available. He had no idea the rooms were ready. This, however, is my only complaint.

The room and eating garden were amazing. I would definitely stay here again. The room had all the amenities a traveler needs.

The hotel is lovely, the staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is excellent. The hotel is walking distance to all the major sites yet tucked away down a quite street away from the crowds. We loved this hotel! The service was fantastic and made our stay as weary travelers so nice. At first I thought the pool would be too small but after I got in with a fantastic cocktail I realized this was the perfect hotel. Really good water pressure and toiletries. So many little details. Would love to come back here next time. My fav part was the bar.

Exceptional boutique five star with a great team!

Great, stylish boutique hotel with exceptional service. Shower pressure and quality was high! We had five rooms between us and all guests were happy.

Hotel restaurant, Contraban, best meal we had not just in Barcelona but consensus was best meal for all in a long while. We were a party of 9 with a combination of vegetarian and pescatarians.

I can’t say enough about how impressed we were with the Wittmore. First, the entire staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. I have to point out Julian, who was so helpful with everything from taking our bags, making dinner reservations and answering the many questions I had about Barcelona and the Gothic Quarter. The food at the restaurant was amazing. We slept in tje second morning and missed breakfast at 11, but they said no problem, we’ll make you up something even though it was between bfast and lunch. The room was nice and big and beautiful. The hotel is completely tucked away down an an alley and is so unassuming but once you walk in, it feels like authentic Barcelona. The top deck is so relaxing and private. The “pool” is really a 2’ mini pool but great to quickly cool off. If we return, we’ll stay there again. Thank you to the staff for making our first trip to Barcelona a blast.

The little black hotel

This wonderful (though expensive) hotel is tucked away down a side street in the Gothic section of the city. Lovely location, great staff….I will come back the next time in Barcelona.

Nice staff, great restaurant good ambiance. The gothic area dirty, graffiti right by the front of entrance,garbage in the corner. For a 5 star rating, need attention to detail such as lots of stains on the carpet my room, the lock on door in my room got stuck numerous times.

Amazing service and food!

Gorgeous little boutique hotel in the heart of the Gothic quarter. A little tricky to get to of you have bags, but once you're there you're in for a delight. Beautiful decor and possibly the best service we've ever had at a hotel. The room was also gorgeous, but on the small side, but that's usually what you should expect in great locations in old European cities.

The hotel was great and the staff were very attentive. I would have rated the overall experience exceptional but my designer sunglasses were taken from my room by one of the cleaning staff. The one day that we allowed them to clean the room, my sunglasses went missing from the side table. I would advise any traveler to lock up your valuables.

Great hotel, but a little more attention to detail

Service was great, wonderful and polite staff. But the extra clothing shelf above the bar was very dusty. wasn't cleaned. Also, the bed pillows were too soft, not firm enough. Need some options.
