Clean room, free bottled water x 2, friendly staff. However, we had to leave the hotel around 6am due to taxi's not being allowed in the vicinity after 7am due to a sporting event in the area. Would have appreciated being informed of this via the hotel upon booking.

Staff were very helpfull, clean room. Shuttle to the airport at a reasonnable price (39EU). Water temperature in the shower was not hot and the small swimming pool on the roof was not heated so no one went swimming. The beach was just in front of the Hotel. Good location, away from the downtown where its more busy and traffic.

We stayed here for a week and we couldn’t recommend more! Location is perfect and a 10 minute walk from the metro and the beach is 200m away. Pool area is small but lovely and the views are great. Our favourite thing about our stay was how big the beds were! My boyfriend woke up saying he was lost in the bed it was so big! This made the long days of walking so worth it! We will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Great location, away from the noisy tourist areas, close to the beach with outdoor exercise equipment. Loved the rooftop pool, be aware it is not heated. Thomas at the front desk was very helpful. Can pre-buy tickets to many attractions at the hotel. Hop on off bus stop close by.

It was a good hotel. Couple of issues, the self closing doors for the rooms slammed therefore there was a lot of slamming doors when people were coming and going thus there was noise. The hotel is away from city centre but metro is 4 blocks away.

I don't know how this place gets a 4* rating. Although there were 2 small plastic bottles of water in the mini bar (nothing else), there were no glasses provided to drink the water from!

The check in host, Albert, was very helpful and highlighted local tour areas and areas to be wary of pickpockets. Very friendly and curteous with good english language skills along with other members of vheck in staff having good english and french communication. Making check in and questions easy.

The rooftop view is also lovely with a pool and bar thats in operation certain parts of the year. The rooms and beds do leave a little to be desired as if you have noisy neighbors above or beside you they can be heard easily. The bed was comfortable enough for a good nights sleep though you woildnt decribe it as deluxe.

All in all a good hotel with a great staff for a very reasonable price. With the location close to the beach being the cherry on the preverbial cheese cake.

Just wonderful !

We had a fabulous stay. A lovely girl called Indira handled the check in. When we saw the room it was better than we imagined ! Lovely and clean with twin aspect sea view. 2X Tv screens and fridge with complimentary soft drinks. Wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Basic shower, no duvet covers

Comfortable room with great views from rooftop terrace. Disappointed to find lack of coffee making facilities in room though, this should be considered an essential in any modern hotel, much more important than the ubiquitous shower cap and cheap toothbrush. What really let it down was the shower, unbefitting of a 4Star, or any star hotel. It's as if the previous shower head has broken, and someone nipped down to the nearest supermarket to get the cheapest 5euro replacement as a quick fix, then didn't bother to replace it. Come on fellas, this is basic hotel management, you expect a little bit of luxury in a 4star, you wouldn't do this in your own home... and what's with the sheets that get all over the place after a night's sleep? Have duvet covers not made it to Spain yet?

I found the staff to be very nice, room clean and breakfast had a lot of options. I can be fussy with food but I liked the breakfast. The only downside is I would say the outside pool deck area needed the paintwork refreshing and some plants would really add to the atmosphere.

We had a great stay for 2 nights. The staff was so accommodating. They would even go out of their way to make us feel comfortable, They did their best with the language barrier and made sure all our questions were answered. There is a great place to walk, great restaurants within walking, and a skate park where people were living their best life. I would 100% book with them again.

The rooftop pool had a bar & restaurant during the day, and great ocean views until 11 pm?

The breakfast is good, the 7th floor outdoor pool and terrace is great for adults and has a great view of sea. Our room was updated, basic but perfectly comfortable.
It's location is next to an overpass which made walking and scootering to the beach quick and simple. Buses stop in 3 locations that take you in all directions including the Gothic quarter and the airport.

Near a quiet part of the Barcelona / Beach waterfront - about 30-40 mins walk down to the main busy port / Marina and 10-15 mins in either direction to other marinas.

30-40 min distance to the main Rambla , all the major stuff. Metro gets you anywhere in 10-15 mins which was a 10-15 min all away.

Breakfast was okay and appreciated it being there and convenient. Likely would opt to try getting breakfast at other places to try new things.

Can’t fault the location and roof terrace. But the room and bathroom standard was more of 3 star than 4 star. Tiny bathroom, ratty thin towels, filthy shower with broken door, very hard mattresses. Buffet breakfast had a good variety.

The hotel was lovely and opposite the beach. Shower was great and beds comfy. We didnt have breakfast because we felt that €15 each was a bit steep for a continental buffet. The nearest stop on the hop on hop off bus was 20min walk away. Overall we enjoyed our stay but next time we would like to stay closer to Port Vall or the city centre to minimise travelling times.

When I arrived, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned (see photo) and there were no clean towels. I advised reception and headed out for the evening. When we returned that night it was still in the same mess. Disappointed with the fact they didn’t correct this straight away. Everything else was fine.

Met my every need!

The hotel met my every need during my stay. Affordable, friendly and extremely helpful staff. The location was a real bonus considering we planned a beach holiday. However nothing was too far away, 10-13minutes in a taxi in any direction. Had a rambla very close to our location l, just a 5minute walk, where you could find absolutely everything, whether to eat, drink, shop. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our trip so enjoyable!!

We use this hotel every time we visit Barcelona. It is always very clean, even now that renovations are ongoing, staff are very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are big, bright and airy. Was a bit better when they had a bath instead of a shower. The pool is a good addition, though the sea is just at the other side of the road.

During this stay, we had an issue due to other guests and the situation has been resolved in an excellent manner. Looking forward for our next visit.

It's a bit old, not like in pictures. You could hear everydoor hit, anyone passing and neighbours. Bathroom supplies were the cheapest possible, unpleasant to use those. On th bright side, staff was very friendly and helpful, and we left with good overall impression.
I would recommend it for a short stay like day or two, but I would not recommend it for a longer stay.

Good property, very close to the beach. Ten minute walk to nearest train station. Out stay was hampered by not having Wifi in our room. We let the front desk know on three different occassions it wasn't working. They assured us it would be fixed by the time we returned and it never was. As we were traveling abroad, Wifi was very important and it was advertised on the site. When I brought this up at check-out, they said there was nothing they could do to right the situation but to reach out stating our case via email. I have but did not receive a response. Not impressed.

It was a perfect location for the beach. It was so close to various cafes and shops which we only discovered at the end of our trip. I do recommend going and exploring around the hotel first before going to the beach and buying water and snacks there. The room was basic but that’s what we chose and paid for I guess. We were not happy with the beds. Very squeaky. Water was coming/dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom at night. Other than that it’s a good place if you just need somewhere to sleep.

Me and my wife stayed in the hotel for few nights and the hotel is right across the beach. The rooms were big and clean. The city is 20 minutes away from taxi, but if want to stay in beach then no issue at all.The only few issues i had is there is no power outlet next to our bed in our room, but all the power outlets were where the table is and there is a drying system in the bathroom that wasn't working. Other than these 2 issues the hotel was amazing. I would recommend to stay there and would stay there again.

This hotel is conveniently located on the waterfront and easily walkable to lots of parks and restaurants in the area. We booked a King Oceanview room which was very spacious, especially by European standards. The bed was comfortable, and the included breakfast generous. Since it was hot and we were staying for 4 days, we were looking forward to using the rooftop pool. Unfortunately, it was closed for renovations and we were not told this on their website or during check-in. There is virtually no way to get ice in your room and the makeup mirror was missing. I made a request at the front desk for one to be put in the room, and this did not happen.

It was a quiet area close to the beach but there is not much to do around it. A few nice restaurants but that’s it. Quite far from the tourist spots like the Ciutat Vella.
The aircon was awful and the tv only had 4 channels.
